Bright and cozy cottage. A quaint location on the water with mature trees and a picturesque view of the lake. Enjoy a lake view through the large windows in the dining area, soak up the sun on the dock, or lounge in the shade on the lawn. Paddle in one of the two kayaks or a canoe and glide on the calm waters at any time of the day. There is about 130 feet of lake front with beach assess near the boathouse. Enjoy a game of ping-pong or Foosball , both located in the boat house. There are two brand new beds (1 queen bed and 1 double bed) and the living room room has a new queen sleeper sofa. Need more sleeping space, there are two twin size beds in the boat house.
This location is only minutes from Naples where you can enjoy hiking or a bite to eat. It is easy drive to Grimes Glen, a county park, to see the waterfalls and to Hazlitt's Cellars. There is great scenery and an obsession with grapes in this area of the Finger Lakes.
The cottage will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each rental and ready for you to safely enjoy this beautiful location.

This house looks exactly like the listing photos. But it is very close to the road. Cars are not a problem, but walkers look directly into the kitchen.
David responded quickly to my questions. The backyard is a lovely spot for birdwatching and reading.
Lighting is a problem, as are the pillows. They are very smelly.
My recommendations - keep the front blinds closed, bring your own pillows, drink only the bottled water and be sure to take a walk on the road, turn right and follow the driveway to the end of the lake and beyond. It's a beautiful country lane bordered by gardens and nice homes.
The views are beautiful. The house was the perfect size for me and my friend. It was very relaxing and peaceful. There is an odor to the water that takes some getting used to. But the views and atmosphere are worth it.
Our family, including adults and kids, stayed in this cottege over the long weekend. The house, property and amenities are exactly as described. We liked being remote the center of Canandaigua Lake, still 10 mins drive to Naples. Dave, the owner was approachable and provided us with clear directions. We will certainly consider booking again.
This place is perfect for anyone that wants to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The cottage is nestled in a quiet part of the lake.
At times we felt like we were the only ones on it.
The cottage is set up nicely and lots of space plus there is the boathouse. It’s organized and CLEAN.
We used the kayaks and canoes every day. I already miss drinking my morning coffee on the dock.
The little beach in front of the boat house was a bonus and great for wading and cooking off. I’d recommend bringing water shoes or creek shoes.
David the owner responded quickly to all of my questions and was very kind and considerate.
It’s a great location close to hiking trials and minutes to Naples. Check out Roots cafe for lunch or dinner (reservations recommended).
Definitely make your way to Grimes Glen park to see the waterfalls. We ended up going 2x because it was so beautiful.
It’s a pretty drive to downtown Canandaigua too.
100% recommend this location!
My wife and I stayed at this property for a week in the fall and had the time of our lives. Every morning we enjoyed our coffee sitting next to the lake, enjoying the stunning fall foliage. The cottage is located about 10-15 minute drive from Naples, where there are grocery stores, a few cute restaurants and wineries. You're also about a 30-40 minute drive to Keuka Lake wineries, and about an hour to Seneca wineries/Watkins Glen.
The cottage was incredibly cozy. Fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) with plenty of wine glasses! Two bedrooms, with a softer and firmer mattress option. There's a boat house with ping pong table and foosball. Firewood for the fire pit was a nice bonus.
Overall, 5/5, would gladly stay here again!
The cottage was very charming in a private location in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful sunset every night. Couldn't have asked for a more lovely location.
The cabin was very clean and cool (AC on) when we arrived. My husband and I enjoyed the week kayaking, relaxing by the lake and visiting local wineries and Grimes Glen (a must see!). Our adult children joined us for a weekend of creek walks and campfires. The large living area was ideal for all 5 of us to fit comfortably. It was helpful to have the extra sleeping space in the boathouse, but be aware none of the mattresses in there were comfortable for adults.
As described it is on the quiet end of the lake. The kids(teens) stayed and hung in the boathouse and enjoyed the ping pong and foosball. The kayaks were an also added bonus. Nice firepit which the owner supplied the firewood. During our stay we did have a couple of questions and the owner replied quickly and was very helpful.
Great property. We enjoyed jet skiing, fishing and kayaking. There was a grill and fire pit on the property. We were close to some hiking trails. We had an awesome week on the lake.
The house was amazing and just perfect for our family. The boat house with extra beds and games makes it even better to have some family or friends stay the night as well. Everything was in great condition and fully stocked for anything we would need (towels, TP, paper towels, soap, etc.). Dave was awesome and great to communicate with. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!
My family spent a week at the cottage for our first vacation since the COVID pandemic began. We had a wonderful time! My teenage sons loved kayaking on the lake. The lakefront setting is peaceful and relaxing, and we enjoyed daily visits from the ducks. The cottage and boathouse were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again in the future.
The house was well stocked and clean, with a flexible and easy check in/out process. It was a very peaceful area and the lake was extremely quiet. My kids really enjoyed having kayaks and a canoe for exploring the lake. The biggest hit was the ping pong table in the boathouse, many games and lots of laughter!
We had a wonderful time! The owner was very kind and responsive to any questions we might have. The location is serene and exactly what we needed. The water, that is in full view from inside as well, allowed us to relax and to distance
ourselves from the craziness of this time. The home is clean, simple and comfortable. It is also only 15 minutes from Naples where there is a great produce market, grocery store and wonderful restaurant. Of course, there are also the wineries nearby. Keuka Park is about a half hour away and a nice community park in Naples. Bring your frisbees. There is a "frisbee" golf course at the community park and a playground for children. Great place to get away!
This rental is located at the quieter end of the lake which we really liked. There is a lot of seaweed and algae, but my girls didn't mind, and there is an inflatable raft that was so fun. Fishing was amazing especially after a visit to Sutton spoons in town for their West River lure. The house is well maintained and clean. The water is not potable, but a five gallon jug is provide for cooking and drinking. There is no washer or dryer, so bring enough clothes and towels. Overall we had a great experience!
I stayed at this rental with my young children, husband, and my parents. There was ample sleeping room & daytime room for all of us, even with the young kids' toys and them running around. The area near the water was safe for children and even though the cabin was close to the dirt road, everyone in the neighborhood drove slow and were alert to children playing. It was great to be able to use the kayaks that came with the property. This end of the lake was very quiet with boat traffic, which is another great plus.. The owner was very attentive & prompt to answer any questions or concerns we had during our stay We would highly consider staying here again!
Great little cottage on the lake. Coffee on the dock every morning. Used the canoe to fish and made great use of the ping pong table. Quiet location, clean, well-appointed property. Conveniently located close to a quaint small town where we bought fishing tackle and had ice cream. Wonderfully relaxing stay..
Very nice and clean cottage in the south area of the lake.
Very clean and cozy cottage with an additional, detached boat house/game room. The only downside is that the water quality in front of the cottage is not great. It is pretty far south so there is a lot of algae. The upside is that it is a very quiet and secluded track.
Our family had a great time! The place was very clean, well stocked and the owners were responsive if we needed them. It's a quiet location, and the view of the lake from the dining room windows was perfect on rainy days.
Thank you!
