Great Stay

Our second visit to this property. The little cottage was great! Comfy bed, A/C works great, and clean. The sweet animals are an added bonus. We will stay again!

If you’re questioning to stay at Gluf Breeze, do it! One of the BEST rental experiences I’ve ever had! The cottage was clean, and neat. The only 2 remarks would be the bathroom shower and maybe a new mattress in cabin 1. Those two things didn’t prevent us from having an amazing experience at the cabin, with the animals or our time with family in town. We will be returning to the cabins in December and I can’t wait to come back! Lyn was very accommodating especially with helping feed animals and showing us around the ranch. Great communication and very helpful. Thanks for one of the best weekend getaways I’ve ever had!

The ca in was spotless!! Lynn and Andrew were so friendly. We were able to tag along at feeding time to meet the animals!! This was the perfect lttle getaway between festivities!!

Restful and rejuvenating

Beautiful location very quiet and well maintained. I on a real farm and is so much fun to be in the middle of while very calm and quiet at the same time. Very well furnished and clean. More than 5 stars 🌟 ✨️✨️✨️

This is our 2nd time staying here and it's my first place to check for availability. It's reasonably priced compared to other places and you can't get the peacefulness and tranquility this place has. We love it and will be back again. Thank you Lynn and Mark!!

Clean, peaceful and relaxing.

This place is special for those of us who enjoy peace and quiet. The farm animals were our pleasant neighbors. Everything in the house was very clean. I hope to return soon. Highly recommended.

Alpacas and much more

We really enjoyed our stay, and the cabin was perfect! The alpacas were adorable, and so were the other animals including a handsome turkey, chickens, cats, sheep and the extremely sweet guard dogs. Lynn and her son made sure we could be there for feeding times. Great tour of the fiber workshop, too. Bought a handmade alpaca scarf and a lovely felted soap, too.

This was a great place, fun with animals. So if don't like animals - I would not suggest. Overall great experience - mattress in Cabin 1 not too comfortable and the air conditioning needs an upgrade. The manager of property super nice. It was a fun trip.

Better than a hotel

This place is amazing. First thing no pets allowed other than what’s on the property, this place has been here for 18 years and me and my family didn’t know and it’s perfect. I highly recommended for all your future stays in Mathis Texas. The host and his and her son are amazing very polite, very sweet, and they gave us a little miniature! The best!

Family visit

We really enjoyed our stay here. I enjoyed the fact it was near the lake so peaceful. I mostly enjoyed learning about the ranch and shopping in the store. You can also order online so many items to chose from. Handmade items i might add. To see all the work that went into the making of these items i purchased was amazing. I always support the small businesses and I would definitely recommend the products sold from this ramch. We would definitely recommend this spot for a quiet get away for two. The property has some turkeys, chickens, and alpacas not much noise from the animals except the turkeys which I enjoyed hearing every morning.

Overall we had a good stay. Lyn is very nice and accommodating . Children staying here would love all the animals ! Not the place for you if you don’t like big dogs. Disappointed it was not lake side as advertised .

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

There is something so peaceful about watching the animals and not having to hear cars, alarms or even other people. The cabins are nicely kept and clean. Lynn provides everything you need and is very responsive. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Life is better in the country

I saw this sign in the cabin that we stayed at. It's beau and cozy! Perfect for me and my husband. We enjoyed the time with the animals and the peace and quiet in the ranch. Amazing get away

From check in to check out, this was an extremely easy stay. The property is gorgeous, all the animals are friendly, the cottage cozy and wonderful hosts. I highly recommend and will stay again!

Quiet peaceful rural ranch cabins. Good WiFi and TV. The owners are right there and incredibly friendly and helpful. Coffee and breakfast items were in the cabin. This is a very clean property.

A Restful Retreat with 'animal perks'

Great place and great folks! Very Clean cottage with plenty of amenities. Enjoyed watching all the critters...especially the alpacas. Lyn is very accommodating and will give a tour of the ranch. We plan to bring the grandkids for a tour...they will be so excited to see all the animals! Check out the alpaca wares in their store! We had a wonderful, restful weekend! Looking forward to another get-a-way.
