Come get away from the city and enjoy a serene space.

Round Top- What's left to say? It's so unique and wonderful. We are happy you are considering our place for your visit to the area. Absolutely adorable country cottage- stylish and comfortable. Has a great porch complete with rocking chairs, a charming dining table and your own grill. The porch is great for sipping coffee, wine or any beverage of choice!
Amazing night skies! Fabulous sun rises and sets!
It's quiet, calm and, well.. wonderful!

Bird Song Cottage is part of a larger property that can be rented in its entirety, if desired. The two houses combined sleep a total of 6 people.

The fire pit is part of the shared space. The dining shed can be reserved for a private meal. Just let me know and I will reserve.

The property was very pretty. Had a bumpy start to the stay, as this no pet place had been evidently used inappropriately by someone with a very hairy dog prior to our arrival. The HOST was very responsive and apologized-and made efforts to mitigate the matter in a very timely manner. We would consider staying here again. Very peaceful location in the Country Living air.

We love this property, it makes for a serene weekend and the host thinks of everything! Relaxing by the firepit at night and stargazing, and a very comfortable bed. The location can't be beat for a weekend in RoundTop. We look forward to coming back

We really enjoyed our stay! Location was beautiful, place was very nice. It would have been nicer if there were a kettle or hot plate to make morning coffee or tea easier (there is a Keurig, but we generally French press), but that's more a suggestion than a critique. Front porch sitting was lovely, and the bathrobes were a nice touch. Overall it was a wonderful weekend away.

Beautiful Guest Cottage

We loved staying in this wonderful cottage! It was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to Round Top! It was very clean which is always important to us. Quite get away

Needed to get away from work and suburban rush, this was the perfect place, you could not hear anything except for the birds and an occasional car. There were good eating establishment within 15 minutes and the country roads and scenery was great, Bluebonnets everywhere.

So Relaxing!!

My husband and I were in the Round Top area to meet up with antique dealers for the spring show. Marie's cabin was perfect for our needs! It is very roomy but cozy at the same time. And really quiet and peaceful, too!! Be sure and enjoy the outdoor firepit, kitchen and grill...Thank you, Marie!

The house is very clean and cozy. The property is beautiful. I had some issues with a few details checking in, but the property manager was very kind and helpful to me. I was able to overcome some challenges with locks and keys. They were helpful and accommodating for me and I am grateful.

I love the city. but I love country life more! For years I have yearned for a simple life away from the city hustle and bustle. I actually stayed at Bird Song Cottage many years ago as a guest. Today I am thrilled to be able to fulfill a dream of owning a property like Bird Song. I am happy to share this special place with others who seek an escape from the city.

Why they chose this property

This property has so many great facets. The houses are great and the porches are awesome. The outdoor dining shed is a fabulous way to enjoy a special meal. The porches have rocking chairs and even a bed swing on the front porch.

The property is super close to town. (less than 5 miles) so it's close enough but your own little world.

Bird Song Cottage is part of a larger property set on five acres. The property in its entirety can be rented to accommodate a group of up to 6 people.
