The Dock House is a raised Coastal home that is breathtaking. This home is centrally located in Orange Beach Alabama and is convenient to grocery stores, shopping and great restaurants not to mention just two blocks from the sandy white beaches.

The Dock House has 2 separate living areas with 2 kitchens. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on each floor making it easy for families to have their own living quarters. You will also be amazed at the large 30 ft. X 30 ft. covered deck with our NEW OUTDOOR KITCHEN equipped with Grill, Griddle, Refrigerator and sink with HOT & COLD water. The views from this deck are like no other. You can watch the boats travel in/out the canal to Cotton Bayou. Plenty of seating and tables to enjoy as you share time and relax with the family.


On the ground floor, you will find the private pool area along with a refreshment bar, boat dock with two large boat slips and a fish cleaning station with power and water. On the dock side you will have a 2 person kayak, 3 one person kayaks and 2 paddle boards for you to enjoy. There is a ½ bathroom on the ground floor, where you will also find life jackets and paddles and 1 of 2 washers and dryers this home has to offer. Also in this ground floor room you will have an ice machine that makes up to 375 pounds of ice daily. NO NEED TO BUY ICE!!

From the ground floor you can take the Elevator or stairs up to either floor.


The second floor offers a living/dining area with a small kitchen and two bedrooms with their own bathroom. Both the master/primary and guest bedroom offer king beds. The living room also has a pull-out sofa bed.

The third floor has a large living/dining area with a large chef's kitchen and two bedrooms with king beds and their own bathrooms and a large laundry room. The master/primary and guest bedroom offer king beds. Living room sofa is also a pull-out sofa bed.

Each floor is a split floor plan giving you lots of privacy. Each room is equipped with flat screen tv's and the floor is tile throughout the entire home.

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY and allow up to 2 small dogs of 40 pounds or less with pet fee. (For additional dogs - an approval will be required. An additional fee will be charged per dog. Larger dogs will need an approval as well)

There is plenty of parking for up to 6 cars and even room for your boat trailer(s). All we ask is NO PARKING on the lawn. (6 Total)

The Dock House sits on a waterfront canal off the famous Cotton Bayou waterway. By boat you are minutes to the Perdido Pass that leads you to the Gulf of Mexico.

Orange Beach has several local marinas where you can find a fishing charter, rent a boat/pontoon, jet skis or take dolphin cruises. The back-country trails offer approximately 15 miles of walking/running or bike riding trails through the State Park. The Wharf is another place to go for movies, shopping, casual to fine dining restaurants, and time to time a concert at the Amphitheater.

We loved the house especially the outdoor area. It was nice to have the elevator as well and every couple had their own bathroom. Very convenient to Publix and the Wharf and great places to eat. We utilized the boat slip for our pontoon boat and had easy access to the intercoastal waterway so we could visit our favorite places by boat.

We loved it! The dock house is amazing!! Love being on cotton bayou and all the amenities of the house were a cut above! Outdoor kitchen was fabulous and extremely comfortable for everyone!! Great host and a great time! The amenities were awesome. We spent most of our time on the deck which was recently renovated and is an awesome spot to hangout while cooking/grilling. Great access to the water and overall great location. Will definitely book again!

The Dock House was great for our friends and all of our kids. The pool was great for swimming and the boat slip was perfect for taking a cruise down to tacky jacks for dinner! I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Property was just as described, better than the pictures portray. Elevator made the trip with our handicapped parents super easy. Having a place for two boats was a huge bonus, dock was really nice. The ice machine made day trips so easy! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, used both the hibatchi and grill, and had all our meals there. Only slight negative was that there was no dishwasher on the second level that joins the patio. This made cleanup awkward and a bit more difficult than necessary. Wouldn’t keep me from going back at all, just feedback. This property had the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever been to, large pots, plenty of accessories and serving ware. Also of note about the patio is that there are bats that come in! I doubt there is anything that can be done, but it was startling nonetheless. Just something to be mindful of for guests. Kids loved the pool, life jackets stocked came in handy. Overall this property is fantastic, great location and perfect for multi family vacationers with boats!

5/2023 - Orange Beach -Dock House

Great Experience - Many times in the area. Carleen was very helpful as property MGR. Well stocked. Firm beds. Really great location. Cons to the property - 3 kitchens becomes a "who's on first" act - where are the -condiments -supplies- utensils and in which kitchens. The pros to that - you do get your steps in! The dock kitchen is 4 real! The saltwater pool was fine for the fam (5 in total) for us but the pool pump only worked 3 out of 8 days. There are about 300 channels on the TV on each TV however no list of what channels are included in the package. The ice maker is for real - you will not need to EVER purchase ice - regardless of how many coolers you intend to fill. Water was great - our families drink "reverse osmosis filtrated" H2O. Their tap H2O was very damn close and we are H2O snobs! We never felt the need to purchase gallons of H2O. 2 nites we spent were crazy loud - good party crowd but it absolutely ends at 10 PM. Because it is on the H2O - sound carries really well. Music as well as babies crying/peeps screaming at each other. Close quarters for sure. My son, his spouse and 3 Yr Old GrandSon fished off the dock and caught quite a few fish. We garnered the attention of Harold (we do not make claim of the correct name or sex - however his name is Harold to our 3 YO) a Blue Heron & did enjoy quite a few fish. Our 3 YO said "Good Bye" to Harold at 6:30 in the AM on Sat and said "See you next year!" & more than likely we shall! Much better stay than the beach.

Best Family Vacation Ever

Everyone from the youngest to the oldest had a fantastic time. The accommodations were amazing! The outdoor kitchen area was awesome. We lacked for absolutely nothing during our stay.
