Fantastic hosts

This small cottage is on a very beautiful and peaceful property. We had a wonderful stay, and the hosts were a big part of that. They were accommodating, generous and very friendly. We enjoyed the properties’ fresh fruit trees and the small swimming pool. Very much recommend a stay here.

Tranquility

Host was so accommodating . I was able to stay an extra night and she provided me with a last minute rental car. I would definitely stay here again. Cottage is exactly as pictured with all essential necessities.

A little piece of paradise

I can't say enough about how beautiful this location is. Top of a rain forest and gorgeous location, lots of close attractions all within minutes away. Vicky and Smith are wonderful hosts and very professional! Helped out with finding fresh fish markets and water fall guided hikes with Edmond. I would highly recommend this property and will be staying here again when I return.

If you are tired of the touristy,resort holiday; this is your place. A cabin up in the mountains, surrounded by rainforest. Exquisite. Luciano & Vicki were simply wonderful, kind hosts; who made us feel safe and well looked after. Roads are dangerous, so we hired a driver to take us around. Vicki will also rent out her vehicle. Close to the Pitons. 20 minutes from Soufriere. We climbed the TetPaul community trail. An unforgettable, local experience. We ate fresh grapefruit, lemons, coconut, green onion from Luciano’s garden. Woke each morning to the sound of roosters, chickens and sheep. At night we were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the rainforest. A truly awesome vacation. We hope to return. Thank you Vicky & Luciano.

A vacation to remember!!!

Wow! I can not say enough about our amazing stay at Montete cottages, I read reviews before I booked it and thought it sounded great but it was absolutely amazing! The view is spectacular, the hosts will make you feel so much like family you will not want to leave and the luxuary of having so many fresh fruits to eat and enjoy right out side your doorstep is remarkable. That itself is a luxury. Vicky and her family are one of the best, we rented a car from them (best deal clever!!) and had the freedom of living like locals and it was most definitely worth it. We explored so many villages and towns, we're in an excellent spot to hit up the Caribbean ocean and hike, you're really not far from anything but also the perfect distance from the surrounding cities. If you want or need anything there are people to assist you and everyone is so friendly! We will most definitely be back here, your home away from home awaits!!! 10 out of 5 stars from us! Great hosts

Our hosts were beyond flexible and accommodating with our cancelled/new flights. Vicki was super helpful with lots of communication and information ahead of time. Would stay there again!

Look no further

Absolutely recommend to anyone going through the endless scroll of properties to stop here and book now. Our stay (my partner and I) was absolutely lovely and when we come back to St. Lucia we will definitely be staying here again. Vicky was a dream host: gave us some fantastic recommendations for eats, beaches and tours, pointed us in the right direction for where to get our Covid tests day of flight out, was always prompt with the reply regardless of the nature of our query, and even stopped by to check and make sure we were settling in okay on our second night. The cottage itself was a perfect size for the two of us (bed was wonderfully comfy) and the view from the balcony was truly splendid. As noted by others, the drive up to the cottages is via a rather long and steep road and, perhaps, not for the faint of heart but for the enterprising spirit it is 0 navigable. My two main regrets regarding our stay is that we didn’t book for longer and that I didn’t take Vicky up on her offer to provide us with transportation (chose instead to rent a car from the airport (which was perfectly acceptable, but doing it all through a single entity probably would have been easier)).
