Adventure awaits you and your family or friends at this newly constructed home that is close to Garden City Fish Pond and Heritage Park- the soon to be home of the Famous Rasberry Days. If you want to escape from the lake and hit the trails, you can take street legal ATV's right from the property into Garden City Canyon. This dog-friendly home also includes a basketball shooting game, new appliances, and a private BBQ Grill.

The marina is a short 2.5-mile drive away, where you can rent boats and other watercraft, and the Beaver Mountain Ski Resort is just over 20 minutes from home.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious. It was well stocked with pots, pans, cups, plates, bowls, utensils and baking and cooking utensils. Loved the location. Very close to downtown and the park.

It was clean and nice had everything we needed. Great location for raspberry days. Watched fire works from the front door. Close enough to walk. Stores aren't too far away. Really quite enjoyed ourselves.

Comfortable and Clean

We enjoyed our stay at Shore Fun Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Garden City is a great place to visit, and this cottage is close to all that the town has to offer. Without question, we’d stay here again.

Perfect Bear Lake Rental

This place was perfect for the 4th of July weekend. Garden City's celebration was a short walk away and we watched the fireworks show from the front door. The house was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a nice trip to Bear Lake. Highly recommend.

Cute Cottage

We loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. We loved the little basket full of towels and a sheet for our dog. The arcade in the 3rd bedroom was a hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable. The area is very quiet. There aren't as many winter activities in Garden City, but the cottage is easy access to downtown and the few restaurants that are open this time of year. It's a beautiful area and we would come back any time.

Nice Bear Lake Cabin

Enjoyed our time in Bear Lake and this little cabin. It’s clean, matches the pictures, new appliances, walking distance (about 1.5 miles) to the restaurants in Garden City and the owner is responsive via text. Parking for 4 vehicles…but not really a deep parking spot to park a truck with a trailer or boat connected (have to disconnect to fit off the street). That was really the only negative…but easy to work around.

The house was clean and comfortably fit the three of us. We cooked each day/night and found plenty of useful dishes, utensils and pans. The neighborhood is quiet and close by a cute Park with Pickleball courts and a pond. We enjoyed walking to the park and walking down the paved path. This is also listed as a pet friendly location, with a cute pet basket inside the home. (We did not have a pet). There was two bedrooms and one bunk room. The only concern we had was poor water pressure. Flush the toilet and only a trickle came out of any sink for a time. We adjusted and got a long just fine with three people.

The sleeping setup was pretty bad. The mattress was hard and the pillows were extraordinarily crap. Complete failed attempt at a good nights sleep. The water pressure was not there so showering was a struggle. I chose this place because the listing said there was trail access for UTVs. They did mention street legal UTVs, but the same could be said for anywhere else in town. You can find a trail, but you’ll have to drive on the highway to get there.

Bear lake home

This home is in a mobile home park. The good: Lots of beds pet friendly The bad, It has no grass just gravel Just two outdoor chairs Overall this house was nothing fancy but it got the job done. You are really close the neighbors. It does have 4 parking spaces that are side by side so if you need to park a boat its difficult. we ended up needing to unhook it each night There was a ton of pet hair everywhere and they only leave a small starter pack of dishwasher soap, dish soap and the garbage bags provided broke each time we used them so we ended up needing to buy our own.

We chose this property because it allowed pets, one of the few. Layout was good. We had 4 + a 3 yr old. Bunk beds are for little kids. They are stacked 3 high. My 13 yr old put the mattress on the floor. If you tried to sleep 6 large terms or adults in them, they probably wouldn't be happy. But that's not really a reflection on the property, more of a suggestion to management. Great place to to stay. Don't be afraid to choose it.

Not enough extra blankets.While there was room to park the boat it was short so we had to unhook the trailer each time.Overall it worked just enough for a short term budget-friendly stay but I wouldn’t come back. Very bare minimum, but thar is what you expect for a budget stay.

Decent place

Overall, the home was clean. There are a few areas that could use some attention. I was completely grossed out by the toilet cleaning brushes. They are NASTY! The clothes washing machine could use a good clean, it smells awful. We had to keep the door to the laundry room closed because the smell was so bad. This I realize is the responsibility of the folks that rent the home, but many dishes had to be cleaned before we could use them. ALL the pots and pans were dirty with food stuck on them as well as many of the utensils. I do think that updated pictures are needed for the property. From the photos posted on the Vrbo site, it appears that the property has a view of the lake, which it most definitely does not.

Good location

New place with nice furniture and appliances. We did have a few problems which I attributed to newbies in the STR business. Coffee maker was a kuerig type and no starter pods were provided. There were no coffee cups or directions on where to take garbage. No cable, but Watchfree channels that did not have local news. Bunk beds are for children or smaller adults. Most important, we called Vacasa and they said someone would call us. Amy did do a safety check upon arrival, but did not leave contact number. No one called us back. Basically poor communication.

Great house in a great location

The Shore Fun cottage had everything we needed. It's in a quiet neighborhood in a super-central location. We were close to the main Garden City spots and could walk to the Heritage park in just minutes. If you're concerned with reviews that say the house isn't stocked well, know that has been addressed - the kitchen had pots, pans, appliances, flatware, cutlery... you name it. So thoughtful to have the pet supplies available as well. Would absolutely return.

Great weekend getaway

Very clean, conveniently located house. Close to restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and soaps) were all provided. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast too (dishes, cooking pans, coffee maker, waffle maker…). Thanks for a great weekend!
