The home was perfect for our recent group trip to Louisville’s Whiskey Row, Louisville Slugger Museum, and Louisville Cardinals baseball game. It was within walking distance of great restaurants and all of our intended destinations. The amenities were wonderful, the house was clean, and there was plenty of parking in a very peaceful neighborhood.
the house was clean, the host was friendly, there were TV's in just about every room. plenty of games and activities to do near by. the one bedroom had some cable, tv issues. a bad connection or wire was frayed. but other than that it was a nice stay. thank you
We had a great time with a very well stocked house. All the instructions were very clear, and easy to understand and follow. The location was amazing, 15min from everything we needed.

Thank you so much for your review! We’re so glad to hear that the house had everything you needed and that the instructions made your stay easy and stress-free. It’s great that the location worked so well for you and kept you close to everything you wanted to do.
We’d be delighted to host you again anytime you’re back in the area!
Stayed here to go check out the Bourbon Trail. House was perfect for our group. It’s in a fun area of town with a lot that you can walk to. Would definitely stay here again
Beautiful older house with a lot of character. The surrounding neighborhood is awesome with short walks to small shops and restaurants. Very good vibe!
Wow! Where do I begin!? The home was clean, big, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. Everything about the experience was delightful. We had a schedule hiccup at the beginning and the owners were accommodating with such grace! We were so cozy and comfy. It was just perfect.
this house was exactly as advertised. Great location, clean and full of everything that you would need for the stay. The communication with the management company was excellent. The hot tub was clean and a perfect touch. I would stay there again 10 out of 10 times.
We loved staying here!! The home is beautiful and cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, we spent a lot of time there. The beds were comfortable and the basement was a blast for our youngest (who is 7)! We were all adults plus her, so it was the perfect space for all ages! Great location and the host was so kind!!
Absolutely would stay here again as it was one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had. Rental is well stocked with paper products, towels, and even snacks. Very thoughtful management who is quick to respond and accommodate requests. We loved the multiple living areas (downstairs and on the main level). Comfortable beds as well. Right in the heart of the Highlands and we walked to a few places to eat. Definitely recommend this rental. .
We had a bachelorette weekend planned in another city but the weather complicated that so we had a last minute weekend in Louisville and it was wonderful! The house is huge, big enough for any number of guests and there is everything there that you need. The location is perfect! Within walking distance of all kinds of places to eat and shops and just a short drive downtown. Would definitely recommend!
Enough bedrooms for the family. 1 full bath worked for our plans. Would have been hard if we had to be somewhere at a certain time. There are no bedroom curtains so its light all night, blinds only. Beds comfortable.
100% walkable neighborhood with parks, restaurants, and shops. House was perfect for family of 6 adukts but could sleep three more kids and another 2 adults comfortably. Amenities were great and communication was also top notch. Would use again
We had a great stay! The house was very clean and super comfortable, plenty of space for our 3 generations to spread out. The lower level was perfect for the kids, they really loved the having their own space with the toys and video games and I appreciated them having a separate bedroom and bath in the same area. Best thing about the house, though, was the location. Just an easy, one-block walk to Bardstown road for access to restaurants, shops, bakeries and more. Very centrally located to parks, downtown, and several other must-see attractions. Never had a problem with parking, traffic, or noise. Just a really pleasant trip, would definitely recommend or stay here again if I come back to Louisville!
Beautiful house, thoughtfully designed and laid out in a beautiful neighborhood close to everything in Louisville. Plenty of bedrooms for me and my four other friends. House management was communicative, positive, and went above and beyond, making everything super easy. Thanks again!
The house is in a great location one block off Bardstown Road. The neighborhood is tree lined with beautiful older homes. The house has everything you’ll need - plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, baby gates for the stairs, etc. We were all impressed with how well appointed the house was. Sat out back and enjoyed the patio. All around great experience.
The host was responsive and welcoming. The house had some quirks. The toilet on the main level was out of order for our stay. The sinks are strange, the kitchen sink is so close to the dishwasher that it’s hard to rinse dishes and load the dishes. The upstairs bathroom sink is the size of a shoe box, and there is a strange unsettling hole in the ceiling above the shower. The hot tub wasn’t very hot, and half the jets didn’t work. The hosts came the next day though to look at it. They were very apologetic when we communicated issues and did try to fix things as soon as was feasible.
Super charming, well stocked home in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive and had even stocked coffee and snacks, which was so appreciated. Beds were comfortable - and the AC worked great on all levels, which was amazing since we visited in a heat wave.
Kids loved hanging out and playing the arcade games in the basement, and my mom loved that there was a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen on that floor so she could avoid stairs.
We walked to Cherokee Park and great restaurants nearby, and loved sitting in the hot tub in the backyard in the evening watching fireflies.
I hope we can stay here again on a future visit to Louisville…so much to do and see - and feel like we just scratched the surface in our week visit. Thankful we had such a great home base for all the adventures!
We booked this place as a family getaway meeting point halfway between our locations. The house had lots of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The adults were upstairs, and the kids were in the lower level. If they stayed up late, we weren't kept awake. The house was a short distance from groceries and shopping. Many places were within walking distance. We planned to visit several museums and the zoo. We made it to the zoo, but it was rainy the day we planned to visit the museums. We decided to stay in and play games. We would gladly book it again if we decide to go back to Louisville.
