Rural Houses Los Algarrobales- El Cortijo

Our rural complex "Los Algarrobales" has an area of 25 hectares located in a spectacular natural environment in the prehistoric valley of the dolmens, in the heart of Andalusia. We guarantee absolute tranquility with panoramic views over the impressive landscape of the Grazalema National Park. This national park was declared a biosphere reserve and over the greenish blue waters of the Zahara swamp - the Gastor whose color contrasts with the greenness of the mountains and the imposing masses of trees formed of carob trees, holm oaks, olive trees. Griffon vultures, variety of raptors, eagles and other birds are sighted daily.

Less than 2km away is the village of El Gastor, known as Balcón de los PUEBLOS BLANCOS. It is integrated into the White Villages Route, 20 min. to Ronda, 1 hour from Seville, Cádiz, Marbella and Puerto Banús and 1h30 from Malaga.

We have 13 houses for couples and families, 5 swimming pools, tennis court and a meeting room for parties, business meetings or other occasions.

The Cortijo is an individual house of approx. 350m² with large garden area for exclusive use. It is ideal for family gatherings of up to 10 people. In the garden there is a magnificent pool of approx. 84m² with large solarium. It has five bedrooms, three of them with 150 cm wide beds and the other two with two 90 cm single beds. It also has a full kitchen with oven, washing machine, microwave, complete utensils and refrigerator. It has two rooms, the main one is equipped with a spectacular glass window with the best views of the Finca to the Sierra de Grazalema that is adjacent to our Rural Complex.
The House is equipped with central heating by hot water radiators in the rooms and towel rails-radiators in the bathrooms, wood burning fireplace, free Wi-Fi access throughout the Estate, 42-inch plasma TV and USB input in the Cortijo and air conditioned.

Apart from the charm of the complex and the peace it transmits, this environment offers you a multitude of leisure options and you can organize day trips to other important cities or towns in Andalusia. Visit Arcos de la Frontera, located 160m above the Guadalete River and its Bird Observatories, Granada with its majestic Alambra, the house of Pilate in Seville or enjoy the Atlantic beaches in Cádiz.

You can do hiking trails such as:
The classic White Villages Route. These routes will take you through the mountainous areas of the Sierra de Grazalema, the Serranía de Ronda and the Alcornocales. It is possible to combine it with a visit to the cities of Cádiz, Seville and Malaga.
- “Dolmen del Gigante Route, Tagus of Algarin”, Sima de Las Grajas.
This route will give you the possibility of ascending to the most unique element of El Gastor, the Tajo Algarín
- "Route of the Stone"
- “Valle de Los Dolmenes Route”
- "Route of the Tile"
- "Route of the Columns"
- “Ruta Acinipo (Ronda la Vieja)”, where you will find clear remains or Roman ruins.
The Garganta Verde trail is one of the most impressive and emblematic in the area.

If you want to make a horse route, the area of El Gastor offers you several companies of horse routes.

For bicycle enthusiasts there are also magnificent routes such as the Vía Verde de la Sierra. This route is an old railway route from Jerez-Almargen. At present, 36 kilometers are passable joining the towns of Puerto Serrano and Olvera. You will have many cycling routes to choose from. (El Gastor-Setenil de las Bodegas and much more).

If you fancy more riding in canoes, doing a free flight, climbing and caving, or a 4x4 hot air balloon trip you will also have it near our rural complex.
