The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood of Shock Hill sits between the middle of Main Street Breckenridge and the base of the ski area (Peaks 7 and 8) and is one of the most convenient and preferred locations to stay in all of Breckenridge. The gondola runs right through the neighborhood taking you to and from the ski area base and down to the middle of Main Street. This is one of the newest additions to Shock Hill and one of the closest houses to the mid point gondola station. Even within the Shock Hill neighborhood, this is one of the best possible locations!
Getting Around:
Please note: The Breckenridge Gondola opens for the Winter season right around November 8th every year and operates daily from 7:45am to 5:30pm during winter months. The gondola does also not run end of April to mid June during moose calving season. The gondola reopens mid June and runs through Labor Day weekend. The hours of operation during the summer are 10am to 5pm. The gondola is free to ride for everyone. You do not need a pass.
Other Things to Note:
Cancellation Policy: Once the reservation is confirmed and the first portion of the payment has been made, those funds are non refundable. The remaining balance will be due thirty days before your arrival. Once the balance is paid, that portion is also non-refundable. If the ski area shuts down or a public health order prevents us from hosting you during your reserved time, you will be eligible for a full refund or will be able to reschedule. Stayed with my husband and in laws - beautiful place!!! Snowboarded with my husband a couple of days and the 3 minute walk to the gondola was perfect. The views! Would stay here again.
We've been coming to Breckenridge in the Fall for years and have found another great place to stay! Breathtaking views, peace and quiet, and a true "basecamp" to relax at the end of an adventurous day. Beautifull accomodations and all the extras needed for an incredible stay. Hoping we can reserve this again next year!
This house made our family's annual Breckenridge visit even better this year! Plenty of bed & bath space for everyone and lots of common area for eating and enjoying our time together. The mountain views from the living room, deck and hot tub are stunning, and getting on and off the mountain could not be more convenient with the gondola right down the steet. The boot warmer for 8 in the garage was a pleasant surprise as well. We would love to return!

This home was totally awesome! The views could not have been any more breath taking and the close proximity to the gondola were within a 2 minute walk.
The house was unbelievably beautiful and in immaculate condition. This has been by far the best home that we have ever rented. I just hope that all the future renters take care of this lovely home as it really is a very beautiful and special place.
Lovely modern four bedroom home nestled at the base of Breckenridge ski resort. Nicely decorated and excellent setup for skiing (ski storage and boot warmer in garage which is a nice perk). When you walk-in from the garage there are cubbies for hats, boots, helmets and washer and dryer which makes the living space super functional. Kitchen is outfitted with everything you need and upgraded appliances. The hot tub is the perfect way to end your ski day! We throughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home!
We stayed at this house with another family and had a fantastic time. The house is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully equipped and the beds and beddings were nice and soft. Best location, a few steps from the gondola. Can't wait to be back.
Loved everything! The location - easy walking access to the gondola, that takes you right to the Peak 7 or Peak 8 (where you can rent equipment if needed). Incredible views from the living room space! All furnishing was top notch! Would come back again and again.
The property is super clean and extremely well appointed. Anything and everything that we needed was provided. The management company is excellent. They were there regularly to shovel off the walkways and driveway, and they responded rapidly to all questions.
Linens and furniture are high quality and very comfortable. The views are stunning!
Wanted a getaway with friends to enjoy the mountains and we did. Went in October. Aspens were spectacular. It snowed the second day. Hot tub and fire pit in the snow was fun! There were 9 of us girls and we had plenty of room to sleep and get ready. We ate in most of the time ans the kitchen was a dream for cooking! Already talking about staying here to ski with our spouses. Just like the description.. it really was perfect.
This house was everything and more than we expected with the most amazing unobstructed views of the mountains. It was stocked with every kitchen utensil you could imagine. We usually eat dinner out when on vacation but the house was so beautiful, especially the kitchen, we whipped up some gourmet meals a couple of nights. Only disappointment was the gondola was not running while we were there due to maintenance. Highly recommend staying here
