The house is tastefully furnished and offers plenty of space. The bedrooms, as well as the spacious living area, are all equipped with air conditioning. The cleanliness throughout the entire house was outstanding. The surroundings are very peaceful, as the house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. The outdoor area offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.Guests who wish to do so can park their car in the garage, which is directly connected to the house.Prazeres is a lovely little village with some good restaurants and a grocery store. For us, the location was ideal for setting off on hiking trips, with relatively short driving distances to many trails. We had a wonderful time staying at the house, enjoyed very friendly communication with the hosts, and can recommend this accommodation without reservation!

A beautiful house, well furnished and fully equipped. Quiet neighborhood, lovely view. Ideal for guests who want to explore the east of the island and are less interested in the hustle and bustle around Funchal. Beautiful and peaceful walks are even possible directly from the house, such as the PR19 (quiet but reservation necessary) and a long walk along the Levada Nova da Calheta. Strolling in the coastal villages of Paul do Mar and Jardim do Mar was a very nice expirience. Small supermarket in Prazeres and large supermarket in Calhete (within a 15-minute drive). Plenty of shade or sun around the house, but little greenery.

What a lovely house this is. Plenty of space both inside and out. Parking space and garage on the property. A choice of sun or shade all around. 3 spacious bedrooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms there, and 1 (smaller) bathroom downstairs. Good air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room. Excellent kitchen appliances. Washing machine provided. So everything you need for a lovely stay. A quiet village with a few good restaurants. Quiet location on a cul-de-sac.Friendly host, who responds quickly if you have any questions. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very nice house

We had a great stay in this lovely house. We especially enjoyed the outdoor table (even in winter it is a sunny place) and the fireplace in the livingroom. The daily drive to get to Funchal and other sights/walkingtrails is a really beautiful one along the coast. The host was really nice and communicative. Thank you Catia !

South Madeira Idyll

Lovely small town of Prazeres with multiple excellent restaurants and a lovely well appointed house. Very clean & spacious for the 4 of us with outside space for relaxing in the evening. Air Con was a blessing ! One improvement would be a more modern smart TV to access Netflix etc especially for the youngsters, other than this its perfect.

Great place to relax and go for long walks

We enjoyed a week at this house in Prazeres. House is fully-equipped with everything you could ask for; with the added benefit of being in a quiet neighborhood with a high percentage of residents who have moved here from other countries, leading to many interesting conversations. Beds and furniture were comfortable, WiFi was always available and reasonably fast. Located close to the Farmer's Market that is open on Sunday mornings. There are several small restaurants and mini-marts nearby to keep you well-supplied. Bus stop is located 5-10 minute walk from house. Excellent buffet restaurant inside Hotel Jardim Atlantico, about a 20-minute walk....a bit longer if you go to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Perfect dream house!!!

Hello Cátia! Thank you for a wonderful vacation in your dream house! From the beginning till to the end it was a perfect holiday. We have felt very comfortable in your house. The location was perfect for us. There is a supermarket nearby and some restaurants are within walking distance. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired, nothing is missing. The house is just fantastic. Unfortunately we have not met you personally, but herewith all greetings to Paul. Everything worked out wonderful. He was very helpful and explained everything to us well! We enjoyed our holiday very much and it was very difficult for us your house and Madeira again to leave. We would definitely come back. There is still so much to experience on the island. Again a big THANK YOU! to you and your family and hopefully see you next time. Lovely greetings from Melanie & Dubi!

Lovely comfortable stay at Lea House

We had a lovely comfortable stay with our friends at Leahouse. It is a comfortable extremely nice family dwelling a quite but beautiful village setting. It has all the amenities you would require for a family holiday and we particularly liked the design of the staircase and very efficient log burner. Which heats the whole house. This fire is essential because without it the house would be unbearably cold at night. The house was. Extremely good value. We had initially a little difficulty finding the house partly due to lack of WiFi but a house number would have been useful. The house was ideal and we would have no problems recommending this property for a family holiday. In fact we were very sorry to have to leave this house. The only two minor criticisms is the WiFi is a bit irregular often drops off or runs very slowly. The beds although comfortable have very sharp corners which we kept catching ourselves on so be weary. Apart from this it is an excellent facility in a lovely part of Maderia in a friendly village no worries recommending this property.

Great, modern base for hiking

We chose this beautiful modern house for a few days of relaxation and exploration after an intense work trip and it was good. The house is modern and clean and comfortable. The furniture new and nice and all appliances the same. There are huge doors you can slide open to bring the outside in and comfortable outdoor furniture. The town is about as rural as you can find on this surprisingly populated island and we enjoyed exploring the coffee shops and local hikes. Easy to get here from anywhere on the island with a car. There are a few things could be improved to make it feel more like a home and less like leftovers from someone else’s house. There were only 2 bowls and no cutting board. Otherwise, the kitchen was well equipped. It would be great to have some basics like olive oil, basic spices and laundry detergent but maybe past visitors have abused things like this. The beds are rock hard - 1 the hardest I’ve ever felt, the smallest reasonable so we slept in there after the first uncomfortable night. There not being any heating except for additional pay was surprising, especially since it was cranking when we arrived. Then we never turned it n again after reading the instruction book. The arrival instruction were sent as PDFs that opened as lots of code and nothing readable. We waited a while after arriving to receive a code for the lock box after trying to call text and email through the app. Everything was fine after that but I feel like we missed some info.

Comments are always welcome and serve to improve for future guests. The house has all the utensils, machines, etc... for a quality vacation. The beds are great and orthopedic, but I understand that they may not suit everyone, although we do everything we can to make everything pleasant. Regarding heating, the house has 4 top-of-the-line equipment from the DARKIN brand that heat the entire house without restrictions without any additional payment, in other words, THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL FEES! Check-in and check-out are independent most of the time, due to the unavailability of the owner, who is often unavailable due to work. The instructions for using the house, despite being sent by email in digital format and with all the necessary information, are also in a folder in the house for consultation. The keychain contains the house keys, including the device for opening the automatic car entrance gates. I recommend that holidays in Madeira are for informed people, that is, tourists must prepare their holidays and never arrive without preparation. Greetings and good health!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man benötigt. Sehr gut eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Gute ruhige Lage.
