We had a good stay here - it was the perfect size for our big family and had enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. We wish the pool was in better condition, but it still did the trick, especially for kids during the summer. Would recommend for family stays.
Perfect property with a very accommodating & responsive owner
This is our second year staying at this property and we love it. The home is beautiful, and its location is perfect: close to Augusta National but far enough away to get out of the Masters tournament hustle and bustle.
We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the beauty of the yard. It is a marvelous neighborhood. The house was very livable and fun. The owner was easy to work with and if we go back, we will try to use the property again. The shower in the jack and jill bathroom is built for children, a little short for adults.

I'm so glad you had a great time! Lol! My daughter that is 5'9" would agree with you about the shower!
Just wow... Backyard is as good as pictures. A very pleasant experience .
Only downside.... Is my wife didn't bring a blow dryer. And maybe channel selection on TV's, but we brought an HDMI cord and was able to stream xfinity, Hulu and Netflix... For evening or night time if needed.

Had a hard time with the hot tub it would not heat. We didn’t get to use it until the very last day of our stay.

The pool was cleaned Friday morning, it's fall and the leaves are falling so by Friday afternoon the wind had blown leaves into the pool. I received a call from the guest upon their arrival and was told the pool and spa were unusable because of the leaves and suggested they should be compensated. I knew the pool had just been cleaned that morning so I sent the cleaning crew back to make sure it was in top shape. I wanted them to have the kind of stay they were anticipating. When the cleaning crew arrived I was told there were some leaves that had blown into the pool and spa, and that the guest had the spa on and steam was rising out of it. The guest were not there when the cleaners were, but I let them know the leaves had been removed and hoped they had a great time. Saturday around noon I get another call that the spa was unable to be used and again suggested they needed compensation because they were unable to turn the spa on. I walked (her) through the steps to turn it on over the phone, she had no problem operating it. Sunday 8:30 in the morning I received the same call again but this time they were convinced the spa was not functioning properly so I sent my daughter's over the help them. When the girls arrived at 9:30 am the pool and spa were fully operational and the girls showed them the buttons to push to turn it on. The spa is not difficult to use, but it is custom. There are instructions on how to operate the pool equipment at the house, and I'm always glad to give detailed instructions either over the phone or in person.

Very nice home but…
Very nice, spacious home. We had plenty of towels, the beds were very comfortable, and the communication with the owner was very quick. But the house Here’s a polished version of your review that maintains your honest feedback while sounding balanced and constructive:⸻The home was very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of towels and cozy beds. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. However, the property could have used a more thorough cleaning, the outdoor play area had poison ivy, and the pool didn’t quite match the expectations set by the listing. Overall, it’s a nice home, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.⸻Let me know if you’d like a more formal or more casual tone! detailed cleaning, the outside play area was covered with poison ivy, and the pool was not as appealing as advertised. Overall, nice home, but I would not stay there again.

I'm am sorry to hear we didn't live up to your expectations.
The pool was clean and balanced, we had it scheduled to have it refinished over the winter, however the hurricane caused it to be delayed and we are now scheduled to have it refinished this fall after the summer swim season.
When you mentioned the property could use some additional cleaning up, I'm assuming you are refering to the pool finish and the golf course property that we do not own. I was unaware of the poison oak/ivy, the plants are not on our property, they are on the golf course property below the retaining wall we did find where they had crept up the side of the trampoline and have removed them. (The trampoline is not actually included in the rental and we have asked in our house rules that it is not used for for safety and insurance reasons.) Nevertheless I am sorry for any trouble it caused.
I'm glad you found the beds comfortable and you had plenty of linens. We go out of our way to make sure the home exceeds our guests expectations.
Thank you for you stay.
Property was in a beautiful development, and close to grocery stores. Everyone pretty much lived in the pool while we were at the house. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Would highly recommend, we weren't disappointed.
The house was gorgeous and provided us with what we needed. The backyard (pool/spa/outdoor kitchen) made this the best vacation we have had!
Had an opportunity to meet the owner and she was great!
We are looking forward to renting this place again in the future!! Thank you for opening your home and allowing others to have a great time away from home!
The location is perfect. Just close enough to food and such, but only 15 minutes down the road to Clark’s Hill Lake. I highly recommend Clark’s Hill Marina for boat rentals. They are top notch. New boats and plenty of friendly deck hands to help out. It was nice having a pool to entertain the kids. I recommend bringing your Amazon Fire Stick. (We never vaca without it) There isn’t any cable or satellite tv. Grab a bag of ice. There isn’t an ice maker in the fridge. The huge dining table was pleasant. We could all gather for meals. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Property was just as beautiful as the pictures. More than enough space for me and my large family. Pool and outdoor area was alot of fun for everyone. Enough towels and bed for all. My downfall would be that the outdoor grill was very dirty, so didn't use; alot of large waterbugs in the house and garage, where the pinball machine was, so kept kids out of there. Lastly more garbage cans need to be provided to place garbage into, between garbage days. However, despite these downfalls, it didn't do anything to ruin our vacation. The house and amenities surpasses any issues we had. We are thankful for a host who was extremely responsive and willing to solve any problems we encountered.
Overall good house + property, some improvement opportunities
Overall, this was a good property for my family (me, spouse, two elem aged children), and my siblings and parents. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms were able to accommodate our big group and the bedrooms/bathrooms functional arrangement met our needs well.
The outdoor kitchen (grill and cooktop) were awesome and the pool area was a special treat for us, but be warned the tile in the upper seating area gets dangerously slick when wet (safety hazard, esp with young children). The stonework by the pool had enough traction to be safe, thankfully.
Two of the queen beds advertised upstairs where actually double beds, and in general, the mattresses seemed in poor shape for the price of the unit. The furniture downstairs in the living areas was more decorative than functional.
I think with a little bit more invested into the property and some updated VRBO desciptions, it would be a great place to spend a vacation. As is, we were overall pleased, but left a bit wanting.

Not really sure how to respond to this review. I think my suggestion would be to notice this is the only review with these concerns.
As far as the bed sizes they are correctly listed.
We selected the beds that we like and find comfortable, of course we are disappointed that you didn't love them, but I do understand that everyone has a different opinion of what is comfortable.
The pictures are an exact match to the furniture in the house with the exception of the little orange couch we add to the dining room. We will probably not leave it there, so I have not updated the pictures in the dining room to include it.
Of course we strive for five star reviews and are disappointed we fall short. We have our home furnished the way we like it and find it comfortable. We are glad to make it available for others to enjoy when we are not in town and of course we hope you love it as much as we do.
We truly enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful and very well kept. The home owner was very responsive to our questions. It is in a very convenient location, close to grocery stores, Target and great restaurants. The hot tub was a welcome amenity. We would most definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Plenty of room to sprawl out with lots of family members. Great table for gathering and we lived outside for the week between the pool, outside tables and covered area.
We had a great time this week. The house is very comfortable and is very well stocked. There were a few minor issues with bugs (palmettos and ants), one of the two dishwashers isn’t working, and the pool pump or vacuum wasn’t working properly. We had a very busy week so we didn’t try to have any issues taken care of. They were minor and we had a good week.

I'm so sorry you did not have a five star experience we strive to make sure you have the best experience. I have tried to call and send messages to get more information about the difficulties you noticed with the pool pump and dishwasher. We had the Polaris pool cleaner checked out, it is working properly. It is on a timer and does not run full time, maybe this is what you are referring to. The dishwashers seem to also be functioning, one of them them has to have the cycle selections made before closing it so maybe this was the problem. The ants in the yard have been quite a challenge to exterminate, we have a regular pest control service and I have called to get him back ASAP to remedy the problem. As for the Palmeto's they seem to love this warm weather and do like to pay us an unwanted visit when we are on the porch in the evening. Aparently they live in the bark in the pine trees. I am also addressing this with the pest control company to see if we can treat the exterior of the home more or the yard further out to help prevent them from coming up. Thank you for your in-depth review, we are always striving to do our best, and I'm still glad to hear from you if I misunderstood any of your review.
The pool and backyard were lovely and just what we were looking for to spend a week away. The owner was very responsive to all our questions. Had a great week!
Beautiful house with the best backyard! Comfortable beds and great linens. The backyard is where you will spend all your time, it’s stunning! The home is well stocked with everything you need, very clean and in a beautiful golf course community! Would love to stay again in the future! Alicia was wonderful to communicate with! It was a perfect stay.
This home is located in a beautiful neighborhood. The house was well stocked with everything you need including cooking spices. We had a great time at the pool and hot tub. The owner was very responsive as well. We will definitely book this house again.
The house was perfect for our needs- wedding weekend with host family nearby. Pictures were accurate, the back yard is as amazing as it looked. Pool and spa got some use in October even though we were not there very much. Good communication with the owners and no complaints. Anxious to see who will be there in April!
12 of us rented the house for a weekend of Ironman training. Comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub were perfect!! Thank you for making our weekend!!!

What makes this property unique
This is not a party house and is not a good fit for family reunions or any type of party, with the exception of Master's Week. During Master's week the neighborhood is bustling with very excited golf fans, hosting parties and get togethers throughout the neighborhood. Normally the neighborhood is very quiet and we want to make sure we respect our neighbors and allow them the quiet enjoyment of their home year round. Also, There is a neighborhood cat that seems to love our yard, you might see her during your visit.
