OMAHA BEACH COTTAGE BETWEEN EARTH AND SEA

We offer a full foot of 60m² within a typical farmhouse of the region that can accommodate 4 people and a baby.

- a living room with fitted kitchen open to the living room
- a bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 cm
- a bedroom with two 90 cm beds that can be pushed together
- a bathroom with shower (towel dryer, hair dryer provided)

Located in the heart of the Battle of Normandy

- 10 minutes from the landing beaches and the American cemetery
- 5 min from the expressway (N13)
- 20 minutes from Bayeux and Pointe du HOC

We will be pleased to welcome you in a green setting between land and sea 2 km from all amenities (shops, doctors, pharmacy ...)
We can also introduce you to our organic farm,
inform you of the sites to discover, Norman gastronomy…

A Stay in the Country

What an amazing place to see. It is quaint and clean and our hostess Karine was so very helpful. Thank you for making this part of our trip so enjoyable. I highly recommend this property for those wanting to stay in the country but still close to attractions.

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. After a warm welcome from our host, Karin, we spent three very comfortable nights at this fantastic location. The cottage was well equipped, it had very comfortable beds and a lovely outside space within the working farm’s courtyard to sit out and relax. It was perfectly placed for our visits to Bayeux, the D-Day beaches and many other places. We would happily stay at this cottage again. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Karin.

This was a fab place, Karine the host was amazing, the weather was hot and this fab place was cool, easy to get around, not just the D Day places, but Bayeux and Caen, would highly recommend Land and Air, especially the beautiful courtyard, with Swallows nesting, all in all peaceful, and overall good value, we will be back.

Perfectly situated for a tour of Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Well equipped apartment in a beautifully restored historic stables and riding house. The host was welcoming and on hand if anything is needed. Clean and cosy, we couldn't have hoped for a better stay.

Lovely intro to Normandy

Property is in a lovely massive square courtyard of old stables. The house was quiet with only birds and cows making any noise. Situation is near all the war sites. Great boulangerie, Trot restaurant best for many miles / kilometres. Tre bon. C'est tout!

Normandy in the country

Peaceful rural setting not far from the beaches of Normandy. Even though tucked away on a rural road, access to the highway was easy and quick and Bayeux was less than 20 minutes. Very nice quarters. tastefully decorated, all accouterments furnished including access to washer, dryer, and bicycles. Roomy with plenty of space for four. Karine was most hospitable, responded quickly to inquiries, and helped with suggestions for shopping and meals. Good internet connection and for those who do not speak French, one can log into Netflix on the tv. Would heartily recommend and will stay again if the opportunity returns.

Gîte très agréable, bien équipé et spacieux ,dans un corps de ferme magnifique.Bien placé pour visiter les différents sites du débarquement .Si vous aimez le silence, la nature, les belles pierres et les vaches, vous serez dans votre élément.Merci aux beaux parents de Karine ,présents à ce moment là, pour nous expliquer la ferme laitière et faire participer notre fils pour son plus grand plaisir . Sehr gute Kommunikation, wir waren zu dritt zum 81 D Day dort. Karine hat uns herzlich empfangen und eine Karte mit den wichtigsten Besichtigungsorten vorgelegt. Schon die Einfahrt in den großen Hof und die Gebäude ließen sofort ein Urlaubsfeeling entstehen. Saubere und mit allem ausgestattete Unterkünfte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und planen auch schon, mit der ganzen Familie dort unseren Urlaub zu verbringen.
