Dar Camel Rock, is an architect house, located in the Moroccan countryside, just 20 mins from downtown Marrakech. We are adjacent to the Palmeraie district of Marrakech.

The house is composed of:

Ground floor of 380 m2 habitable:

- 1 patio of 130 m2 with swimming pool of 10 m

- 2 living rooms, 1 with fireplace

- 1 dining room

- 3 bedrooms with their bathrooms

- independent kitchen

Upstairs :

Terrace of 200 m2 fully equipped with an exceptional 360 ° view of the Moroccan countryside.

- 2 outdoor lounges

- 1 summer kitchen & bar

- 1 outdoor dining room

- 4 tanning beds

For wifi two solutions:
1- A small portable router Free enough slow but enough to consult his emails, consult web pages, phone your relatives.
2-A super fast Wifi with fixed router + CPL jacks for amplification of the signal everywhere in the house, connection with several smartphones at the same time without slowing the flow but paying to recharge by you on presentation of the number in all the tobaccos or kiosk inwi (even on your arrival at the airport) first recharge package is at 10 € for 10 Giga

The house staff is included:

- 1 cleaning lady

- 1 maintenance man

- 1 Guardian 24/24 (in a house next door)

The breakfast service is included in the price (OUT OF FOOD) for you to do the shopping.
Opportunities to be prepared meals on site (paid service and specify when booking).

Outside guests are not allowed in the Villa.

What a stay!

We had a brilliant time here, the property is stunning and immaculate! The pool is lovely too. What really made the stay was the amazing staff. Sana is genuinely the most amazing cook, we were just amazed by the variety and deliciousness of her food. We ended up staying for all lunches and most suppers. Fatima treated us like royalty, she always had a smile and kept the place so clean. Both of them are a fantastic duo. Jafar was very helpful, kind and discreet. Paolo was extremely helpful with everything and Abdullah was a great driver who we always used. We are already planning our next stay here!

This property runs like a well oiled machine, from the owner's communication & introduction of the staff to the coordination of amenities.We stayed 10 days and the owner coordinated a driver for us so we didn't have to rent a car, it was about a 50/50 round trip wherever we wanted to go , which considered you are about 40 mins away from city center isn't bad. The ladies at the house came in every morning to cook and clean. Their meals were amazing. We were disappointed by some restaurants in town with regards to food, but the ladies never disappointed. Finally, the grounds keeper, who stays in a side building at night, which we appreciated for security purposes, came in the pick up a bit in the morning before the ladies came in, made sure the pool was clean and to put out the furniture padding upstairs.We had the pool heated throughout our stay for about 20/20 per day and he came in and cleared dinner if the ladies cooked for us and covered the pool around 10pm. It was literal perfection.The only con was the smell of the sheep that permeated outside if the wind blew our way. You couldn't smell it inside but moving through the complex to different areas meant you had to go outside. However, given how nice everyone and everything was, it wouldn't be a deal breaker to return. I would like to return when it's warmer to take advantage of the day beds and couches more on the roof. The sunset from there was amazing. Overall, highly recommend. Thank you!!!

Serene villa

We had a wonderful time at dar camel, villa is gorgeous, super clean, beautifully decorated, rural quiet area surrounded by views of Atlas Mountains that you can see from rooftop terrasse, staff Sana and Jafar are huge asset, very discreet and very professional , made our stay super pleasant and comfortable,Paolo was very prompt to answer any questions, would highly recommend this property, real gem, looking forward to going back again soon.

Un moment de détente

La villa est magnifique et fonctionnelle au milieu de la campagne pour un moment de tranquillité et d’humilité. Mention spéciale pour Sana qui est d’une gentillesse et une honnêteté incroyable. Une vraie pépite ! La maison est typique, chic et sécurisée. Le seul bémol la cuisine sans Clim. Juste si elle pouvait exister ça sera plus que parfait ! Louez cette maison et le personnel les yeux fermés je recommande !

Moroccan bliss

Outside the busy town of Marrakech you can find the beautiful villa of Paolo. Every part of the villa is designed and build in perfect sync with each other. Sana the hostess during our stay was wonderful. She helped us with everything we needed. Provided us with a beautifully breakfast every morning. Altogether we had a wonderful stay and would recommend everyone to visit this villa to get the most out of your holiday!

Beau séjour

La maison correspond totalement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce et elle est très agréable à vivre. Aziza et son mari sont adorables et travaillent très bien et sont très sérieux; il en va de même du gardien de la maison. J'y reviendrai prochainement c'est certain. Seul petit bémol la distance du centre de Marrakesh, compte tenu des conditions de circulation au Maroc. Mais le calme de la maison est aussi tellement appréciable loin du tumulte de la ville..

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in typisch marrokanischer ländlicher Nachbarschaft

Eine Woche im März 2018 war sehr schön im Dar Camel Rock. Paolo, der Vermieter hat einen sehr guten Job gemacht. Er hat sich um alles gekümmert. Ich habe oft mit ihm telefoniert. Er war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Er hat sogar einen Mietwagen organisiert und ließ ihn zum Haus bringen. Einmal angekommen trafen wir auf Aziza. Die wirklich sehr nette Haushälterin und ihr Ehemann Camel. Die Villa war immer sauber und sehr ordentlich. Aziza und Camel kümmerten sich um alles. Wir durften selbst nichts tun. Das war ungewöhnlich, aber angenehm für uns. Täglich wurde das Frühstück nach Wahl bereitet, alles sauber gemacht, sogar die Betten gemacht. Die Lage des Riads ist sehr ländlich. Von der Terrasse ein einmaliger 360-Grad-Blick auf die Landschaft und das Atlas-Gebirge. Rundherum typisch marokkanische Häuser. Einfache Bauernhäuser. Hirten, Hühnerzüchter. Alle Nachbarn wahrscheinlich eine Familie. Nette Leute. In einem Nebenraum war sogar ein Bewacher. War er notwendig? Ich denke nein. WiFi gibts in 2 Varianten. Kostenlosen mobiles WiFi, was man auch mitnehmen kann. Bezahltes schnelles WiFi im Esszimmer. Aber nicht wirklich besser. TV als SAT-Fernsehen. Unmengen von europäischen und internationalen Sendern. Wenn man zum ersten Mal in Marokko ist, wie wir, ist alles es gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber die Marokkaner sind wirklich sehr nette Menschen. Das haben wir so nicht erwartet. Das war die wertvollste Erfahrung. Die Villa / Riad liegt ca. 30 Minuten außerhalb von Marrakesch. Der Verkehr ist in Ordnung. In Marrakesch muss man beim Autofahren vorsichtig sein. Man wird links von einem der vielen Mopeds überholt und rechts von einem Eselfuhrwerk. Absolut sollte man die Kochkünste von Aziza versuchen. Große marokkanische Küche. Sie war auch eine Köchin in Filmproduktionen. Einkaufen im Supermarkt in ca. 10 km Entfernung ist ebenfalls einfach. Sie müssen ein bisschen suchen, weil es eher ein Großhandelsmarkt ist, als ein Supermarkt a la Carrefour. Unbedingt auch ein Besuch des Hinterlandes. Sehr schöne Landschaft. Wir werden wieder kommen. Amazing house for getaway. Friendly and hardworking staff as well. I would recommend you use the transportation service provided. It’s reasonable and they know exactly where the house is. Dar Camel is spotless and safe.

Erholung Pur

Hallo Sandrine und Paolo, wir hatten eine so wunderschöne Zeit in dieser tollen Villa. Alles hat gepasst. Das Haus ist in einem tollen Zustand, sehr gepflegt und die Aufteilung und Anordnung der einzelnen Zimmer, mit dem Pool im Zentrum hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war da. Nichts haben wir vermisst. Auch das Obergeschoss mit der Ecke fürs Grillen und die Lounge Bereiche haben wir oft und gerne genutzt. Dort zu liegen und den warmen Wüstenwind zu spüren war Erholung Pur. Ganz besonders muss man aber Aziza, Kamel und den anderen Mann, dessen Namen ich leider vergessen habe, erwähnen. Es wurde das Frühstück zubereitet, das Haus gereinigt und wir durften in den Genuss von Azizas marokkanischen Kochkünsten kommen. Dies hat Sie natürlich nicht umsonst getan, aber das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis war absolut in Ordnung. Außerhalb kann man natürlich auch Essen gehen, aber bei weitem nicht so gut und lecker!! Zur Umgebung: Das Haus liegt in einer für uns Europäer eher verlassen Gegend. Das ist aber weiter nicht schlimm, wenn man wie wir die Erholung sucht. In ca. 15min mit dem Auto, war man bei einem größeren Supermarkt, bei dem man alles kaufen konnte. Auch Nutella:-)!! Ein Auto ist, wenn man nicht jeden Tag im Haus verbringen möchte, absolut notwendig. Es gibt zwar die Möglichkeit einen Fahrer zu buchen, aber den Preis dafür, habe ich persönlich als zu hoch empfunden. Wobei man sagen muss, dass am Tag der Anreise, der Abholservice genutzt werden sollte, da das auffinden des Hauses am ersten Tag sich sicherlich als eher schwierig dargestellt hätte. Danke für die tolle Zeit und alles Gute für die Zukunft!!

Super séjour

Très bon séjour dans la villa Dar camel rock La vue est superbe, la villa est magnifique et très calme. Literie impeccable. Le personnel de maison (Aziza, son mari et Jafar le gardien) sont discrets, dévoués, aux petits soins des hôtes. La villa est très bien entretenue. Aziza nous a préparé d'excellent repas. Les Propriétaires vous donneront de très bon conseils pour la réussite de votre séjour. N'hésitez pas à réserver pour profiter de ce bel endroit.

Wonderful place

We spent a great journey in this beautiful home! Paolo and Sandrine are very nice people, always willing to help and make your vacation agreable. People at the house couldn't be better: Aziza is a great cook and so peaceful such as her husbnad Camel and Jaafar the housekeeper. Here's a tip for next visitors: ask Aziza to cook a couscous for you, simply the best in the whole world!!!! Regarding the house, it is perfect!! A beautiful home in the desert. Much better than having a Riad in the Marrakech Medina!!!! Quiet and peaceful... We will absolutely come back!

Parfait !!

Nos vacances à la villa se sont passer à merveille, vous avez des employer au top sincèrement on peut y'aller les yeux fermer. Aziza nous a fait de très bon plat et elle est d'une gentillesse extrême, ainsi que son mari et Jaffar qui sont très gentil et très discret! Leur présence nous a était indispensable. Magnifique séjour

Et voilà les vacances sont déjà finies mais nous reviendrons…. Le Dar camel rock est une villa superbe moderne et design qui offre tout le confort que l'on a besoin avec une belle piscine dans un cadre merveilleux. C'est un endroit calme et discret à l'écart de la vie mouvementée de Marrakech, ça fait du bien! Nous avons pu profiter de Aziza une cuisinière extra qui nous a concocté de bons plats marocains tout le long de notre séjour, c'est une personne discrète et très gentille. Il y aussi un gardien qui veille sur la villa et qui nous rassure par sa présence. Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances avec un temps magnifique. Merci beaucoup pour ce lieu unique :)

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour ,la villa est splendide rien a redire encore mieux que sur les photos ! L'accueil d'Aziza et Kamel était vraiment très chaleureux, ils ont vraiment pris soins de nous tout en restant très discret pour ne pas nous déranger . Le petit - est qu'à cette période les nuits sont fraîches et que donc la piscine n'a pas le temps de se réchauffer, nous étions un peu frustré de ne pas pouvoir se baigner. Mais nous réfléchissons déjà a une nouvelle pour y retourner avec des copains !

Un séjour merveilleux

La villa est située à 25/30 minutes du centre de Marrakech. Cette distance permet d'allier calme (les adeptes du fare nient apprécieront) et instants plus fun ( activités à découvrir dans la palmeraie et/ou retour au centre-ville). Une voiture est donc indispensable. Nous y avons séjourné à 4 (mon époux, nos 2 garçons de 9 et 6 ans et moi-même), pour une durée de 15 jours. Les lieux sont très bien entretenus par Aziza, son époux et le concierge Jafar. Ce trio a œuvré chaque jour pour notre confort (nourriture, propreté, sécurité) Les conseils d'Aziza en matière de courses et autres visites nous ont été d'une aide précieuse. Les points forts de cette villa: son confort, le bien-être qui y règne (le soleil et la piscine sont des "accessoires" appréciés des petits et des grands!) La vue sur le mont Toubkal est la cerise sur le gâteau. Nous prévoyons déjà un retour à Marrakech, il est évident que pour ce qui concerne l'adresse nous ne rechercherons rien d'autre :) Enfin nous remercions la propriétaire, Mme Sandrine Berra, pour son sérieux, son suivi et les informations échangées.

Excellent séjour!!!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette villa. Les photos sont flatteuses mais la réalité est encore plus magnifique! La villa est sublime et c'est un havre de paix pour séjourner au calme et se détendre tranquillement. Nous sommes contents de notre séjour dans cette villa de prestige. Très belle villa au calme mais un peu loin de Marrakech. Nous avons passé de très belles vacances reposantes avec nos enfants. Azziza et son mari sont très serviable et nous ont fait découvrir la cuisine marocaine.

Un séjour excellent, ou nous nous sommes confortablement bien reposés. Mme Berra, la propriétaire, est très très gentil et très à l’écoute de nos besoins. Aziza et son mari sont aux petits soins pour nous et sont d'une gentillesse exquise. La maison est d'une beauté et d'un charme ... Vraiment nous recommandons fortement cette maison !!!!! Seul point négatif : Votre retour chez vous sera très dur a digérer ... ;)
