Luxury Amish Built Barn Home at Turkey Run

Amazing true Amish build horse-barn home. Has all the amenities. Radiant floor heat, central air and heat, central vac, custom baths and $30K kitchen. You won't be disappointed. Built to accommodate large families, HUGE 1,300 square foot great room features hand-crafted Amish trusses for a truly rustic look. Also features games in the game cabinet, pool table, and 75" Smart TV with DVD player and movies to enjoy. Upper and lower bedrooms have 55" Smart TV with Roku (new in 2026). Internet has just been upgraded to Starlink new for 2026 as well. 80 gallons of hot water means everyone get a hot shower! Huge upstairs bedrooms with full baths and walk in closets.

Enjoy all that Turkey Run has to offer! We are directly across from the Turkey Run State Park Campground and one home away from Sugar Creek. Outdoor pool available at the Turkey Run State Park. Horse back riding available there as well. Hike on the 13 wooded acres with natural ravines, or just relax on the covered porch.

We provide two different fire pits for evening roasts, a BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal) and propane gas grill (new in 2026), a few bikes for the kids and a backyard zipline. Multiple outdoor folding chairs are located on the side porch or in the garage.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We had a wonderful little getaway at the cabin! Turkey Run State Park is conveniently located just down the road with several restaurant options in nearby Rockville. My kids loved the little zip-line in the backyard, and we all enjoyed exploring the trails behind the cabin. The bedrooms are spacious and mattresses were comfortable. We loved the open, inviting kitchen/living area and the decor! We would definitely stay here again.

Fall getaway

We were so excited to find a 3 bedroom/3 bath near Turkey Run State Park for 3 couples to meet for a fall getaway. This "Barn" home is exceptional. The wide open living area provided space for everyone to enjoy from watching TV, reading a book, or playing a game of pool. We loved hiking and having dinner at the State Park and were excited to find Coxford Covered Bridge, just down the Road from this home. The owners were very easy to work with and the property exceeded our expectations.

This is our family home and would hope guests would treat it as such. As a family of six, vacation accommodations have been challenging in the past for us, so we appreciate being able to host larger families at our home.

While visitors are welcome, no additional guests may stay the night without express permission prior to arrival. We hope everyone will maintain a family friendly environment while staying in our home.

We also try to accommodate early check-in/late check-outs whenever possible. However, it's a big place and takes the full four hours to clean and sanitize everything in between guests. So we do ask for punctuality on check in/check out times if there are guests leaving the day you come in, or checking in the day you depart.

Why they chose this property

You will have access to 13 acres of woods, ravines and wilderness. Nature abounds! We have seen flocks of turkey and 12 point bucks right in our back yard! Or just relax and unplug in our beautiful new home. Upon arrival, a code or key will be provided to get in.
