Villa La Grisa is a charming country villa overlooking the Farfa Valley. Thanks to its architecture and picturesque setting, it is one of the most beautiful properties available in the region, and its evocative and poetic atmosphere—with century-old olive trees, the scent of lavender, and the heated pool, will transform your stay into a relaxing and unforgettable experience, whether you’re travelling with family or a group of friends.

Villa La Grisa spans 400 square metres over two floors and can accommodate up to 11 people in 6 bedrooms with 4 private bathrooms. There is a large living room with a stone fireplace, a kitchen, a terrace, garden and lawn areas, a pool (open June through September), air conditioning, heating, TV/DVD, a barbecue, and free, unlimited Wi-Fi for up to 10 guests.
The entire main floor features hardwood floors and exposed beams.

The village of Casaprota, just 3 km away, is home to shops and restaurants, including a vegetarian tavern. From here, you can set out on foot along the ancient pilgrimage routes of the Via Francigena and the Way of St. Francis.
Nearby, you’ll find several horseback riding centers, a sports centre offering tennis, football, a gym, and a sauna (3 km), and two golf courses (20 km). You can also go fishing (1 km) and rafting (45 km). The Monte Terminillo ski resort (2,217 m) is located about 50 km away. The city of Rieti is 30 km away, and Rome is less than an hour away (50 km).

"A spacious villa for a restful and peaceful holiday!
We had a fantastic week at this villa (the last week of May). It’s a large house set in a beautifully tranquil setting—a truly relaxing option for those who love to get away from it all. A car is essential, but you’d want one anyway to get to major tourist sites like Rome.
It’s ideal for two families (we were two families of five), as the house has three bedrooms on each floor. The house was well-stocked with cleaning supplies (something we’d never experienced before), so at first, all we had to worry about was stocking up on food, which was very helpful.
The property has plenty of seating options, so you’ll never be at a loss for a place to sit and read a magazine or a book.
The pool is a good size. It’s heated by solar panels, so at this time of year, it was a little cooler than some of our kids would have liked. However, that didn’t stop them from swimming every day!
As the first guests of the year, we encountered some issues early in the season, but Geellee and Adolfo were very responsive in providing solutions—that’s all you can ask for.
We didn’t find the roads as winding as another reviewer mentioned. We had someone in our group who usually gets very carsick on roads like that and was dreading the trip, but she didn’t find these roads to be a problem at all. Maybe it’s just that we’ve experienced much worse on our travels, but the roads certainly shouldn’t stop you from booking this villa. "
