House was perfect for our annual family trip. House was stocked with all the cooking and cleaning essentials. Only downside, was having to provide our own towels, as most of us flew there. Owner gave us a heads up about the drive to grocery stores, so we made sure to come prepared, also Instacart delivered and was a huge benefit.Kids enjoyed the stocked toy closet and loved playing in the kids area. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for having the whole family sit and have a meal together, followed by a long game of monopoly and left right center.The view was also amazing from the back porch.Out of 7 trips to different lakes in the south, this is by far our favorite.Owner was very informative and called to make sure everything was perfect on the day of arrival.

This is a wonderful family vacation property. It is spacious and well appointed. The host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We had 6 adults and five children there over the Memorial Day holiday and were not crowded at all. It’s a great house for kids. The water is beautiful and the house is located on a cove away from the main river channel. The kids were able to swim without fear of getting in the way of a boat or jet ski. I highly recommend this property. It exceeded all of our expectations.

Wonderful hoise

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It was perfect for us. The house is very nice and very clean. The location near the marina was a big plus. We loved all of the toys and games for kids. We couldn’t ask for better communication with property owners. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay

The owners have thought of everything to insure a wonderful stay. The kitchen had everything we could use and beyond. They checked in with us to make sure everything was okay with the rental. We are in the area every Memorial Day weekend and this is our best stay to date. Thank you so much for your attention to detail, it was a wonderful weekend!

Amazing house

This house was so beautiful and was so clean and fun. Loaded with games and outdoor toys and the kitchen was fully stocked. The view is awesome. I would highly recommend staying here.

Family vacation

The lodge was amazing! Exactly as described in listing and the kitchen was better equipped then my own home, which was necessary for us as we cooked in almost every day! Beds were comfortable It rained first 2 days but with the game room and covered deck there was plenty to do! Thanks so much for a great week!

Perfect for larger group / family trip.

The layout of this lodge allows everyone to be close for dinners, games while providing great lake views. Each bedroom with bath was also nice, kids camp was a winner for the small kids. The slope walk to water allows a golf cart to take our older mom and handicap kids down with little effort. Long and short is hated to leave and can't wait to return.

Hanfor Group Reunion

This trip is with a group of guys (6) that have been friends for 60 + years all originally from Michigan. We met for several years with the wives for a yearly reunion. We were very pleased with our stay at Lakeside, just a absolutely beautiful home. Owners were great to work with, the views of the lake, awesome, so much room. Would encourage anyone to come and stay here at Lakeside Lodge.

The best house we have stayed!

This was the most amazing house we have vacationed at! Every room had a bathroom so privacy was not an issue. Outdoor spaces were beautiful and the view from every window was amazing. Host was very friendly and accommodating. The golf course was 8 minutes away and we played it 3 times during our stay because it was that fun with lots of elevation changes! Tons of games and toys to keep kids occupied for hours in case of a rainy day! I have nothing bad to say about this beautiful home.

Family & Friends weekend

Lakeside Lodge is wonderful and so are the owners! We had a fabulous time and enjoyed making lifelong memories with our family & friends! The Ray home is beautiful and very accommodating for a large group , especially with children! You will not be disappointed in any way ! They thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable! Kathy & Steven are perfect hosts and so hospitable! We look forward to a return trip!

Family Christmas reunion

We had a wonderful time at the Lake Side Lodge! My siblings and I have been gathering at Christmas for over 25 years in the Norris lake / Gatlinburg area… and this was one of our favorite places! 7 Bedrooms, a large cozy family room, a dining room table with seating for all of us!! It was awesome!! Loved the fire pit, ping pong table, the view of the water, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could want to prepare and cook meals! Super kind and attentive hosts!

Didn’t want to leave!

We love Norris Lake and the Lakeside Lodge met our expectations!!! The house had plenty of space to spread out. The covered deck was amazing, the game room served us well with a ping pong tournament and the dock was amazing and spacious for the fishing, swimming and relaxing that we had. The crew caught many fish of all kinds including multiple catfish, bass, and panfish. The swing on the dock allowed some peaceful moments down by the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will likely be back again!

Amazing house with an amazing view!

Our small church group (6 couples) enjoyed our weekend at Lakeside Lodge. There was plenty of room for everyone and each couple enjoyed having a king bed. It was quiet and peaceful with amazing views. The fire pit was a big hit! The home is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The kitchen is large and beautiful, perfect for a group. The home is nicely decorated and several commented on the interesting objects on the living room walls. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Fun Friends Retreat

Everything was good. Plenty of room, exceptional kitchen, equipment & seating. A bit of TV difficulty that was resolved — not normally necessary but it’s football season. Location & boat dock fine. Everything as described. I would recommend!

Beautiful, spacious house on the lake with so much to offer!!

Whether on either of the two decks, around the large kitchen table or massive island, game room or living area, this house allows plenty of opportunity to spend time with family or friends! We had no younger children in our group, but the kids kamp is adorable and makes me wish that my children/grandchildren were young enough to bring here. My siblings/husband live in four different states and this place was perfect for us to meet, kick back and enjoy some time reconnecting. So much to do that we didn’t even have time to do it all! The owners are very responsive and kind to share their get away with others. If you’re looking for a place to really get away, this is it!

Perfect for family vacations!

Lakeside Lodge was the perfect location for my water-loving family to relax, unwind, and have fun in the sun. The rooms were clean and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and the game room had a large variety of activities to fit a variety of ages. We loved having 2 refrigerators and dishwashers. Our grandson had a blast staying in the Kids Camp. The walk down to the water was steep, but that’s to be expected for Lake Norris and we much preferred the sidewalks to the multiple flights of stairs present at other properties on the lake. We rented a boat and appreciated the nearby marinas, the jumping bridge, plus the multitude of little coves to explore. The hosts, Steve and Kathy, communicated well before our stay and called to make sure everything was okay during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying at the Lakeside Lodge.

10/10 best place on Norris lake

We rented the lakeside lodge for the first time this year and all I can say is this place fit every need we had for 11 people, very well equipped home had everything we needed in the kitchen, two of everything made it so nice to cook for a large group, the area was great the house was clean and beds were very comfortable everyone says they slept like a baby,. We loved the way they thought of everything had a whole closet full of games and toys a neat hideout for kids, the owners Steve and Kathy Ray are amazing and got back to us right away with any questions.. we already booked for next year in this gorgeous home.. the dock was awesome lots of room for our jet skis and tritoon boat…. Best house we have been in on Norris, we have been coming over 10 years and this was the best so far .. highly recommend if you need a home for a large party, and every bedroom was a master with king beds and private bath plus a bunk room .. can’t add enough stars to this home

Wonderful Experience

Steve and Kathy’s home was exactly what my group was looking for! Plenty of space for our group of eleven. The kitchen had absolutely everything necessary to fix any meal during your stay. The view from the deck was incredible. To get to the water and the private boat dock was not steep compared to other homes on the lake. The location of their home is perfect to get to the famous jumping bridge, as well as gas for your boat at Sugar Hollow Marina. Both of these were within a five minute ride from the dock. Kathy even called the house phone during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which I found very considerate. When I got home from our trip, I immediately talked to my wife and we plan on coming back to the lodge next year and bring the kids! I had such a great time at their beautiful home.
