The property was lovely and perfect for two people with a dog. There are dog trails to walk on the property and the setting is gorgeous. There is a great deck for sitting outside and enjoying the sunset. Martha and Jim were great hosts. We were very happy with our stay here.
Martha & Jim were great hosts! The apartment was a clean, nice quiet place and had everything that we needed. Martha greeted us with a warm smile and conversation when we arrived on the first day. From that point we had a few texts back and forth and on the last day Martha made sure that our stay was enjoyable. The location was a little bit outside of town and was perfect for a quiet stay and relaxing time. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for a getaway!!
My husband and I travel extensively and this little gem is hands down the best relax-cation spot! I cannot say enough about how relaxing it is. I work remotely and it was so peaceful that I was exceedingly productive. Check in and out were a breeze and the price for the stay was less than a hotel. The hosts are so kind and prepared for guests! Our ETA was later than expected and they had lights on for us. I am a big coffee drinker and they had a bag and cream waiting. It is stocked for cooking and I didn’t need anything extra to make meals. We left a couple of things accidentally and they are working with us to get the items home. The area is perfectly remote if you want to disconnect from city life and reconnect with nature, but close enough to a town that you can get the necessities. The apartment had great WiFi and a cell booster so no interruptions in service. It’s perfect for one, or a couple. There is a loveseat that has a twin pullout bed, perfect for a kiddo. The water pressure and hot water are fantastic and the garden tub is a nice touch as well. The grounds are stunning, there is a small dog walk if you have fur babies and the yard is beautiful. The whole property is clean, free of clutter, and so peaceful. I absolutely 1000% recommend this spot! We will be back relatively often so we hope this will be available for at least some of the trips. I think it is a seasonal property but if they ever open year round, this will be our go-to spot.
We stayed 5 nights, our host Jim was very nice and helpful. Plus our dog Ozzy really liked him. The apartment was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We had a great time on our first visit to Whitefish
Excellent place to get away for a few days! Wildlife, close to shopping/dining, off the beating path, full service stay. Thank you! I would definitely go back.
Beautiful apartment in a quiet, peaceful setting. Hosts were awesome in ensuring our comfort throughout our stay; left extremely clear notes regarding the property itself and local attractions, restaurants, etc. Apartment was roomy and well-appointed. Seating in the living area was adequate and comfortable. At the hosts' suggestion, we LOVED sleeping with the windows open during our June stay -- very comfortable and enjoyed the fresh air. Apartment is a bit 'over the mountains and through the woods' in its location (thank goodness for GPS), but you couldn't ask for a more serene setting. Despite its remote locale, getting to and from nearby places, e.g., Glacier National Park, was a cinch. We truly enjoyed our stay!
A long drive everyday to Glacier National Park. Average 45 minutes plus road repair delays. But ideal for hiker/bikers. Sr Citizens note there are open wooden steps but the apartment is worth every step. Horses across the road. Coyotes at nightfall. Bird songs and beautiful cottage gardens. Luxurious linens. Quality everything and quiet hosts. Oh and they are dog lovers!!! Lovely dog walk trails.
Just the right location to get a bit out of town, convenient to Whitefish and Glacier Natl Park. Martha has recommendations, maps, and all the amenities to make it a great stay. We loved the setting and privacy. Also, the apartment was stocked with coffee, Bear spray, and everything we wanted- including great fluffy towels! The deck was perfect for late afternoon relaxing. Saw deer on a morning walk with the dog. They even have a dog “walk” trail. Super cool.
This place is a lovely, quiet place in such a beautiful and secluded location. The apartment was perfect for my husband and I. Martha was a great host and gave us some good tips on travel.
A little out of the way was nice. Very quiet and peaceful, everything we needed. Our host was very pleasant, and the apartment was well stocked and clean. It made for a lovely vacation for my mother and I.
