About this property
Gorgeous Teton Views on 6 acres, 2 miles to Victor
This unique 6.2 acre property boasts 2900 sq ft rustic log home with breathtaking views of Teton Range. The private road, pond and fox creek make for a magical setting for small parties, families, or events. This home feels remote enough to be out in the middle of nowhere, but it's just a short 2 miles to the trending town of Victor where you can grab a beer and brat, or a huckleberry shake. The bustling town of Jackson is just "over the hill." It's awesome 30 to 40 minute drive over Teton Pass to the downtown square. Teton pass offers several amazing hikes, and mountain biking including Ski Lake. Grand Targhee Ski Resort and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort are just a short drive away. Both offer many summer and winter activities. Entrance to Teton and Yellowstone National parks are an easy day trip.

We spent 2 weeks in this quiet an lovely spot, away from it all. Great hikes nearby. Good little market in Victor. Well enough equipped kitchen. Highly recommended for romantic or family getaways.
Beautiful home and property fir a relaxing getaway
We loved this property- it was ideal for rest and relaxation. The home was well-appointed and had everything we could have needed. Bed was comfortable. We even saw two moose in the yard that were passing through!
This property is beautiful. It is set on very peaceful 6 acres with the most amazing views of the Tetons. A moose visits the property occasionally. That was so much fun to see. The house has tons of natural light. Victor is a quaint town. It’s about a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Grand Teton National Park and about 2 hours to the west entrance of Yellowstone.
Our group of 7 (2 couples and 3 college guys) fit perfectly in this house. The house had everything we needed, towels, pots/ pans, spices, coffee, laundry soap, comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms, 3 TVs. Great open living/ dining area perfect for cooking meals and hanging out. Lots of windows with Mountain View’s, nice back yard and deck, and a pond. We saw pheasant and porcupine, but no moose. The hosts were very accommodating. John stopped by one morning to show us another way to get to Grand Teton National park since the pass was down. We took on the back road challenge but couldn’t get thru because of another road closure. It took us about 2 hours to get to the park due to the pass closure, which was an unexpected set back, but we were able to find hikes within 30 mins of the house in Idaho to balance out day trips to Tetons. Overall great place!
Everything exceeded our expectations. This was one of the reasons for visiting the area. The other was to enjoy the little time we have left. I have been fighting cancer for 3 years, and all treatments failed. So instead of trying first stage clinical trials, I've (we've) decided to enjoy life as much as possible, while I am still healthy and able to, and let things run its course. This was my second trip and many other trips coming up with my honey, and love of my life. This home made us feel very comfortable, and welcoming. Perfect place for a family vacation, reunion, wedding, or just a place to kick back and enjoy. Great restaurants, bar and grills to visit. Easy 1 hour drive to Jackson, Tetons, etc. The hosts Karen and John are wonderful, and great to get along with. Book now while their property is still available.
Absolutely gorgeous house and stunning views! We even saw a moose in the yard three of the nights we were there. Wonderful hosts. Victor ID, which was close, had great restaurants, ice cream and a Thursday night concert in the park.
Property is peaceful and scenic. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts are welcoming and responsive. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.
The property was perfect for our group of 7, with grandparents and children in tow. The house has everything you could ask for and is very conveniently located. The view of the Tetons and the beautiful grounds made for wonderful mornings and afternoons on the deck. John and Karen were great hosts and very helpful. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better week for our family. We would certainly stay here again.
This space is absolutely stunning and was the perfect escape at the end of a long day vacationing. The house is beautiful and airy and well-appointed for a nice dinner party. The property is peaceful and gorgeous and inhabited by the sweetest garage cat who will climb right up on your lap to accept pets. We were surprised by the lack of hanging space for our clothes, there were no hangers available and only one clothes rod in the second bedroom as the Master closets were locked and unavailable for use. The Master bath is also a touch difficult to step in and out of and doesn’t have a curtain, making showering without splashing water everywhere a Task. We loved our stay with a group of 6 and would recommend to anyone planning a group visit to the area!
This cabin was a great long weekend stay for us and our friends for new years. Very close to ski hills and restaurants. The house is fully furnished and has all the amenities needed for cooking. Next time we're in the area we would love to stay again!
This property is beautiful! We had our wedding here and it was a wonderful location. John and Karen were amazing hosts! Would definitely recommend this home for your Victor stay!
Our family of five had a fantastic 5 night stay at this beautiful, clean, well-appointed, well-stocked home. The mountain views (including sunrises and sunsets) were stunning, and the house was very private with a big property -- yet close to both the town of Victor and Driggs. It was also an easy ride into Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton National Park. We enjoyed hiking, biking, white water rafting and horseback riding. We also made sure to enjoy time in Victor/at the house. This was an awesome place to create wonderful family memories. Kathy and John were delightful and very responsive.
Our extended family spent 3 days there and totally enjoyed ourselves. Very pretty property and so quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at meteors and also enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen. We went to swim in the river nearby and saw 5 moose there which was fun. One day we drove into Grand Teton Park and enjoyed the scenery and Jenny Lake. We all got a kick out of the "feral" cat who came and sat in our laps whenever we sat down outside. She is real cutie!!
Beautiful home with breath-taking views of the Grand Tetons. The home is well-appointed with everything you would need in a vacation home, including a brand new kitchen and super comfortable beds and bedding. We were two families with eight people in total and the house was spacious enough for all of us. The outdoor area is well- maintained, our kids made good use of the front yard, the hammock and the patio. A mother moose and her calf were in the vicinity although we didn’t see them during our stay. Victor Idaho is a quiet town about a 20 mile drive from Jackson.. we were able to find good coffee, places to eat and a grocery store within close proximity. The owners, John and Karen, have put a lot of effort into making their home comfortable and relaxing. They are quick to respond to texts and are super informative about the area and any questions you might have. Our time in the Tetons was amazing.. and we were especially happy with our accommodations.
This house was perfect for our yearly family vacation. Each year we pick somewhere new to go & we landed here in Victor, Idaho. And what a BEAUTIFUL place to hang with family and let cousins run around all day and play. The property fit all 10 of us perfectly. We did bring a twin blowup mattress for our 3 year old that we put on the floor but other than that everyone had a place to sleep. House had everything we needed. Most days were spent out on the deck, enjoying the views and watching the kids run around. The town of Victor is small but very cute. With a market, live music in the park on Thursday nights, and the BEST ice cream shop. Jackson is only about a 30min drive down the mountain but it is one way into Jackson and one way back. Going to Jackson wasn’t crowded but coming home in the evenings usually took us a good hour because traffic was pretty heavy going back through the mountains. It’s only a 2 lane road. But I’d stay here any day away from the hustle and bustle of Jackson tourists. We did a float down Snake River, trail ride through the mountains, drove to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and even did some mountain biking. John and Karen are great hosts and very easy to get ahold of. All and all we will for sure be back! Ps. WE SAW A MOOSE & DEER on the property in the early mornings or late evenings. Kids LOVED the wild life
Had a wonderful stay at the property in Early July. Beautiful property, we saw the resident male moose twice as well as deer during our stay. The kids enjoyed playing with the the cat each day upon returning from the days activities! Hope to have the opportunity to stay here again on a future trip!!
This place was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, and the kitchen had all the amenities necessary. The owners were extremely easy with which to deal. My wife, son and daughter just spent 3 days there, and it was fabulous. The highlight was a moose and her two babies visiting us one morning. We drove to Jackson twice, and spent another day in the Targhee National Park. Just a 4 hour drive from SLC. Planning to visit again ext summer for a week.
We had a great stay in Victor and can't wait to come back. The home was beautiful and clean and in a great location. Victor and Driggs (super close) have some really wonderful restaurants and with Grand Targhee right there and Jackson Hole under an hour away there is plenty to do and see. We used the home as a home base for our GTNP visit. The owners are friendly and accommodating and communicated with us throughout our visit. The house was very private, a great yard and view, lawn for the kids to play around and deck to drink morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Look forward to coming back.
This property was the perfect hub of operations for an amazing family summer trip to Idaho. The owners made us feel welcomed and were extremely helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. We were a party of 10 with 6 adults and 4 kids and fit just fine in the 2 bedrooms and large loft room. The kitchen had recently been remodeled with updated appliances so that was just an added bonus to an already amazing house. I know the owners said they plan on continuing their updates of the house so it will only get better. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the house as most days were filled with activities but the morning sunrises and evening sunsets from the deck were picture perfect. The pictures don’t do the views justice, it is simply gorgeous.
Three couples rented this property for a friend getting married locally. Perfect space as all had own rooms and bathrooms. The detailed decor and craftsmanship is fantastic. The landscape was immaculate and view are beautiful. The location is perfect positioned between Victor and Driggs. Accommodations were all there and didn’t lack a thing. Definitely recommend this place to other.
Con: never saw the Moose everyone talks about but did see a couple deer and a beaver.
