*RESORT DETAILS:
The Blue Marlin Lodge is a beautifully constructed 4BR/2BA, our signature lodge, and is also the area's most luxurious accommodations. The Blue Marlin interior is constructed of beautiful cypress tongue & groove walls, cypress trim, ceramic floors,
and all of the lodge-themed décor. This lodge is specifically designed for both large or small groups, and is the main focal point for meals and entertainment. Of the many unique features, some of these include the large living room, entertainment/game room including billiards, poker table, & foosball, large-screen cable tvs/dvd, full kitchen w/beautiful granite bar, large-beautiful custom cypress dining table, computer center w/free wireless internet, & printer/copier/fax. Guests also enjoy the large covered patio including plenty seating for lounging & entertaining; as well as a BBQ pit and a freezer for your catch. Just a few steps away is our covered pavilion/entertainment area & outdoor kitchen(incl. boiling equipment, commercial fish fryers, & BBQ pits), for additional convenience. Also, enjoy the outdoor amenities this pavilion offers you & your guests while cooking, gathering, & lounging in the swings & benches over a nice fire in the fire-pit. The property amenities also include our fish cleaning facility on the canal; for easy fish & game cleaning;(and usually some up-close photo opportunities of the gators feeding on fish carcasses!) This lodge is fully furnished including pillow-top bedding, linens, towels, dishes, pots, pans, cookware, coffee pot with coffee & fixings, soap, shampoo, & washer detergents.(sleeps 11)

Perfect stay!

The hubs and 4 buddies stayed here for a weekend tuna fishing trip and absolutely loved this place! Roomy, clean and well stocked. They played pool and foosball. Plenty of room for the gang to sit around the table each night and play cards and eat. This lodge meet every expectation and we look forward to staying again!

Another great stay

We are a returning guest to this property first time in this lodge / another great experience. We will return. There are 4 bedrooms: -- 1 queen -- 1 queen w a twin bunk -- 2 bunks (4 total beds) -- 2 twins We had 3 dads + 3 sons, so this worked out well for us.

This spacious property will exceed your expectations. It is great for a large group as there are plenty of entertainment activities. (Pool, poker, & foosball table). Venice marina is approximately 15 minutes away. I will definitely stay here again!!

We took our annual company fishing trip and stayed here. Plenty of space for 6 grown men. 2 showers which are helpful whether your group is trying to get going for an early morning or washing up after a day on the water. 12 minutes from cypress cove marina. Also nice little dock out back with a few resident gators

This lodge was plenty big enough for my family of 8 adults. We were in town to hunt and fish. When not on the water, the multiple games offered plenty of entertainment. Everything was nice and clean. My only recommendation would be to add a colander/ strainer to the kitchen set!

Great lodging for fishing group

This is the second time my fishing group of guys from B'ham have stayed at the Blue Marlin cabin. The place has enough room for 6-10 guys and conveniently located in proximity to the marina for our fishing charter. Also, we took a day trip to New Orleans and ate lunch at Mothers, visited the WWII museum. Black Velvet is an always fun close by restaurant. BTW, our 6 guys caught 3 yellow fin (had to leave area b/c sharks) and 5 AJ's. Good haul. Thanks, VooDoo charters!!!

1. Well maintained, well located, as advertised property. 2. Venice fishing is lit. 3. The only thing off was the pool cues, which the property manager rectified upon notice. 4. Perfect spot for 4-6 adult fisherman / hunters. Just awesome.

Perfect Fishing Haven Location and better than advertised!

Easy checkin and great communication from Owner. Place is meant for large groups to share a wonderful vacation experience! Having other cabins around was also an awesome experience talking with other people and sharing stories. I will stay here anytime I come to the Benice LA area.

We booked this location for a weekend fishing trip and it was perfect. Clean, great setup: foosball, poker table, pool table, and not too far from the Venice marina. Denise was a great host.
