About this property

Book early for 2025 at Birds Eye View in Bernards Landing w lake access

This beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo with fully stocked kitchen is perfect for your family vacation. New flooring (no carpets) and furnishings are only a few years young and the view off the new deck is truly beautiful off the main part of the lake where you can watch the sail boats set sail from the nearby Yacht Club. It is located at Bernard's Landing in Peninsula Towers. This is the only condo building that features an entrance from the parking lot as well as a lakeside back door. There is a convenient day dock for your use if you bring or rent a watercraft (owned Watercraft must be registered with Bernard's landing for a fee for the duration of your stay at Bernard's Landing security office located on the way in).
You can walk to Napoli on the Lake restaurant near the office or to the Clubhouse where you can find indoor and outdoor pools, tennis/pickleball courts, exercise room, and beach area. Great shopping is nearby at Westlake Village, and many other shops and restaurants are within a 20 min. drive.

There are many golf courses and wineries in the area, boat, kayak and paddle board rentals at many marinas around the lake, and local stores for shopping and restaurants of all types throughout the lake area. Bridgewater Plaza on Booker T Washington (Rt 122) has a tourist office for more activities in the area along with shops, restaurants, mini golf, etc.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Make sure outdoor umbrella is closed and cushions are away. Turn off the hot water heater at heater and electrical panel.
Clean countertops in kitchen and bathroom. All dishes, etc. are washed and put away. Left over food to be thrown away. Garbage must be taken to the station by the security office.
Make sure washer/dryer and dishwasher are empty. Check closets and drawers for personal items. make sure all electronics and wires are packed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Garbage cannot be left on the porch and must be taken to the dumpster on the left side on way out. Resort keys tot be left on counter upon check out.
Dishwasher must be emptied, counter tops cleaned and water shut off when checking out.
Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are not to be stored on courtesy docks or “parked” in the courtesy dock slips reserved for watercraft.

I fell in love with SML 18 years ago and rented homes just like you for 9 years. Finally decided to purchase this condo at the best place on the lake, Bernard's Landing. We come here many times during the year as a place to unwind and take in the sunshine. I wanted the condo to be a place that is updated, comfortable and stocked so we did not have to bring a lot with us. Hope to do it more once I retire and bring the grand-kids. This is a great place for kids, families, and couples. Love to boat here and see all the different homes or sit in a cove floating, it is my happy place.

Why they chose this property

The view is the best! I could sit on the deck all day just taking in the view and activity. People are very friendly and the property within Bernard's Landing is well maintained. Lots to do at Bernard's and the entire lake area

What makes this property unique

All the amenities, peaceful walks and the view. You can fish right off the dock!
