Newly Renovated! Wine Down at our Cozy Highlands Mountain Retreat

Less than 10 minutes from Main Street, 1-mile from Skyline Lodge, and a short walk to Flat Mountain Farm and Pinky Falls, this newly renovated and inviting home enjoys cool breezes at an elevation of 3,900 feet. Lovingly maintained and cared for, the welcoming great room features new flooring, cathedral ceilings, lots of windows, and a wood-burning stone fireplace for chilly evenings. The large open deck and screened in porch are perfect for cocktails, dining, or relaxing while admiring the lush mountain views. Master suite on the main floor. Loft with guest room, desk with office chair, and full bath upstairs along with cozy area for reading or puzzles. The lower level has a second living area, covered deck, and 2 additional guest bedrooms that share a full bathroom. Brand new stainless steel kitchen appliances and new washer and dryer. Other amenities include fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs, wood pellet grill, Gigabit WiFi Internet, Books, and Games. Sorry, no pets allowed!

This home was amazing for our annual girls trip. The spacious rooms and layout in addition to all of the outdoor and hangout spaces were perfect for us to catch up. We only wish we had stayed longer-we did not want to leave!

The place was very nice and quiet. Location was very close to town, and the interior had a nice layout. They did a great job on the design work. The house is much bigger than it looks from the pictures. I would definitely stay here again when we come back to Highlands.

Property was great. Just as described. Quiet. Beautiful views from back deck. Very well stocked. Plenty of room for 5 women. About 10 minutes from DT Highlands. Seems further because of the curvy road. Beds were comfortable. LR sofa so comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

Comfortable Highlands Getaway with a View

We really enjoyed our stay at Wine Down. The location was convenient to downtown and local restaurants. The layout is great, the property is peaceful and the deck has a beautiful view!

This cabin was perfect for our anniversary get-away, although it was spacious enough we could have brought our whole family! The house was outfitted with everything that we needed. We loved that it was within 10 min of downtown Highlands, but yet felt private and secluded.

Great stay @ Wine Down - Highlands

Had a great stay at Wine Down in Highlands for our sisters weekend. The house was perfect from the furnishings and decorations to all the kitchen items! The check in was a breeze and communication with the owners and the info they gave us on the area was spot on. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Arriving at Wine Down for my first trip to Highlands was an absolute joy. The property was as beautiful as the amazing view off the back porch. The amenities were top notch. The short drive to down town was definitely an added treat. Can’t wait to come back again😃
