A unique and historic abbey hamlet set in the heart of the forest, in a peaceful and fully preserved natural environment.
The entire property is exclusively reserved for your group, with two independent houses, a seasonal outdoor pool and a large reception barn of 70 m².
An ideal place to gather with family or friends, for up to 16 to 20 guests.

The property

Welcome to Les Gîtes de Cherlieu, a unique and historic place located in the middle of a forest, at the foot of the remains of a former Cistercian abbey.

The estate consists of two 18th-century houses located a few meters apart:

Cherlieu House
A former forest house divided into two separate parts, one dedicated to the guest accommodation and the other being our private residence.
It offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen for groups and a large upstairs lounge that can host up to 18 guests for meals during the colder season.

Christal House
An independent house with 3 bedrooms, ideal for group stays.
It includes a living room, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, with a 70 m² reception barn attached for shared meals and gatherings during the warmer months.

Capacity depending on the season:
October to April: 14 to 16 guests
May to September: 16 to 20 guests

During the colder months, some living areas are used for heating and dining purposes, which limits sleeping capacity.
The full capacity is available from May to September when all spaces can be used.

May to September: 70 m² reception barn

The pool is not supervised and remains under adult responsibility.

Heating is included in the price, as well as bed linen.
You only need to bring your own towels.

Natural spring water. As a precaution, we recommend using bottled water for drinking.
