Stayed here before. The service to get anything needed is excellent, good location close to town, and the cabin well equipped. Only thing missing is a dishwasher.
At first we were disappointed with the location, but really ended up loving it. It was very quiet, and full of wildlife! We will definitely rent this cabin again.
Found online sight unseen and always a little of a gamble. When I seen it was managed by Cabin Butler put me a little at ease as have used their cabins before. The place was perfect. Had everything needed, a great patio and close to town. All the cooking utensils, pots, pans, were quality and everything needed was there. If there was one thing I could say I could have used would be a dishwasher. Booked again for December!
Loved our stay in this sweet cabin. Excellent views and a 15 minute walk to Molly Butler. Be sure to check out the Butterfly Museum across the street. Easy check in and cabin was perfect for us
Nice, clean little cabin. It is located as you come into Greer, by the fire station so if you want morning the woods keep this in mind. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Be sure to bring toiletries as ones there as like those in a motel/hotel. We would stay again on a visit to Greer.
If you love Greer like we do - this cabin is perfect! So well appointed with everything you need. Kitchen had great pans etc - we were not missing anything and we love to cook when we travel. Beds were super comfy. Great deck - definitely want to go back in the summer.
This is our second time renting this cabin and all we have to say it NEVER disappoints. Your remodel is excellent and we will definitely be back again. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will be back!
Went to Greer to escape the Valley heat and my 65th. Initially a little disappointed that there were no trees on property but soon realized I couldn't have asked for a better location! Elk and deer visited the property every am and pm, the sunsets and star gazing visibility superb! Location to all things Greer was just right. We will be back!!
We have stayed at 4 different cabins in Greer and this one is definitely our favorite. It was very roomy and very clean. It had everything you could possibly need including a washer and dryer. It was not sitting right next to another cabin so you had some privacy. The deck was great and very spacious. Nice open area around the cabin for the dog to roam. Short walk down to the river. You can walk to the Lazy Trout market. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here with kids and our dogs, the cabin was clean upon arrival and had all the amenities we needed, plenty of room outside for the kids and dogs to play. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, plates, etc. We really liked that the cabin is not very close to any other property since one of our dogs can be a loud yelper. We were there in mid March and it was nice that there wasn't snow right around the property but there was snow only a few minutes away driving.

Cabin Butler
We needed a couple of day getaway and man we were not disappointed. My wife woke me up around 3 AM and said, "you gotta see this" !! We went outside and there was a beautiful Elk herd. We drove to the end of the main road and hiked that trail for hours. Incredibly beautiful!
The cabin was clean and exactly what we were told it would be. I would like to visit in the winter. I can only imagine the peacefulness at that time of the year.
The property is like new, very convenient, and fully- functional. Quiet area with plenty of wildlife even though it is near the road. Deer, elk, barn swallows, bluebirds, all made an appearance. The little market is an easy walk. You can hear the river rushing past. We sat outside every morning and evening and were not bothered at all by mosquitoes even though they were swarming like mad not far away at Badger Creek. We would be happy to rent this property again.

Very disappointed!
I am a veteran cabin renter, so this is not my first rodeo. The property is listed as having three bedrooms, sleeping six. That is overstated as any more than two adults would have been extremely cramped. The living room and fold out futon is listed as a bedroom. The pictures make the place look bigger than what it is and a medium throw rug would cover the entire living room space. The living room had one small table top lamp and could’ve used a floor lamp and one other table top lamp for the sofa area. I would not plan on cooking a meal at the stove, as there is no overhead hood and the oven is small. The place will fill with smoke if you cook something as small as bacon or sausage. I had to open the windows in 23° weather to air the place out, so anything more than reheating is not recommended. The Wi-Fi is good and easy to connect to. The Roku TV system has many applications listed as available, but you need the Roku pin password to actually access some apps with your credentials. I requested the pin number, and the owner would not give it to me citing concerns I may spend money and not reimburse him. This was ridiculous as they had my credit card on file. The simple courtesy of a phone call to me could’ve cleared everything up as all I wanted to do was download a very popular cable network news application. My reservation was for three days, but I checked out in 20 hours. I would never go back.
Great property and location. Short drive to the Trout Market, Molly Butlers and the Cafe. Porch is very nice, sat outside with cocktails and watched the storm roll in. Great for 4 adults. Pet friendly and large yard have the dogs lots of room to explore!
The cabin was clean, in a quiet area and the location perfect for us. It could use a refresh of pillows, towels and bedspreads as they were older & stained. (The pillows definitely need replacing.) The living room could use another lamp to make it easier for reading. Check in was easy but GPS took us to the wrong location so watch addresses once you get to Greer. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
Cozy cabin and great location.
The bathroom with tub shower curtain needs to be desperately cleaned or replaced. Several towels with bleach stains and most didnt smell so good.
Lights in master bathroom flicker when turned on. Also master bedroom lamp needs a new bulb.
Kitchen sink faucet moves around when you use it. There was used old coffee left in the coffee maker.
The front screen door simply needs to be replaced. Latch and lock dont work at all.
The reliner chair... took two people to use. Comfortable but needs some TLC.
Overall our stay was very relaxing and the elk and deer visits were a plus, as well as the lunar eclipse.

Cool cabin. Clean, spacious, great location with easy access. BBQing on the large covered deck was a treat. Bonus: 2 bathrooms! Most 2-bedroom cabins we’ve stayed at only have one. Really enjoyed our stay.
