The condo was lovely and very comfortable. The view was quintessential New England, overlooking the bay and a marina with fishing boats. We could walk to EVERYTHING, including good restaurants. I would return to this property.
The condo is beautiful. Well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Fine appliances. Beautiful view of the harbor. I did not know that the condo is on the second floor and there is another condo above us. Unfortunately, the people on the third floor were heavy on their feet and the stomping above us was annoying and disturbing. Guess they didn’t know enough to take their shoes off. This was an uncomfortable situation and not the fault of our host who was very nice. They left before the New Year so we had a few peaceful days. Thankfully..
Just completed our 1-week stay at Porto Sereno, and we were so sad to leave. The property is in the perfect location in the East End, within walking distance to any number of eclectic art galleries, charming little shops, and delightful restaurants. Above all, the view of Cape Cod bay is breathtaking - we enjoyed spectacular sunrises and sunsets sitting out on the deck. Can’t wait to return!
We liked it so much that we’re returning next year.
One recommendation. The kitchen needs 2 stools for sitting while cooking.
Loved the sheets. Charisma!
Towels ~ okay.
We needed a card table to make a puzzle.
A broom would have helped too.
Just suggestions.
Perfect East End location. Communication was excellent; questions answered promptly.
Everything was as advertised. Comfortable for 4. Well stocked. Sheets and towels provided, as well as paper goods, bath and laundry soap. Two beach chairs and umbrellas.
Beautiful views.
We'd absolutely stay here again.
The property listing was accurate and owners were communicative and helpful. We found the property to be very clean upon our arrival which made for instant happiness. Will definitely stay again.
We chose to come just before the summer season started. The mood was relaxed and friendly. Summer businesses were just opening, but there were no crowds.
I loved looking out at the gentle waves coming in while enjoying my morning cup of tea and then many leisurely walks on the beach.
The living room/dining room area is open and spacious. One wall is the sliding glass doors to the deck overlooking the sea. A wonderful view! Only two chairs on the deck.
There are instructions about the heating (which we needed) and the air conditioner in the top drawer on the left side of the kitchenette. Instructions for the microwave and the oven would have been helpful, too. The kitchenette is unusually well equipped!
It was nice to have an unique entry code instead of having to keep track of who had a key to the front door.
Parking is tight, but it got easier for us each time we came in.
The second bedroom is small, but we didn't come to sleep (!) and the beds were both comfortable.
In spite of the minor quibbles, this place deserves its 5 star rating. We hope to return.
What a great home. We enjoyed the water view from our beach front porch.
We visited over New Years, a first for us. And the view of the fireworks was just amazing.
The home was perfect for our needs.
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay here. Amazing views and a fabulous location. Close to all east end spots and close to everything else with a short walk. Well stocked and spacious. Would be perfect for 2 couples also. Book it if it’s available!!
Just completed our third stay! Can’t beat the location & stunning views of Provincetown Harbor from the deck. Space is bright, clean & comfortable with everything you’d need.
What a lovely spot. Calm, quiet, immaculately clean, and centrally located. Great for two couples. Just enough space so you’re not on top of each other. And, that view! Easy check in, owner was very responsive to any questions both before and during our stay. We’ll definitely go back!
Bright, Open Space, Great Location & Amazing Views
Homey space with a good-size deck that has an amazing view of Provincetown Harbor. Parking, full kitchen & laundry in the unit make everything much more convenient & relaxing.
This is our third time staying at this property. We love it for the expansive water view, direct access to the beach and location in the gallery area of Commercial Street. The owners purchased new beds this year and we found them very comfortable. The apartment has air conditioning, but we've found that if we bring a oscillating fan you don't need it in the evenings and can leave the slider open to get the ocean breeze. The bedrooms each have ceiling fans. The parking can be tight, but if you back in you will find it easier to pull out. Overall it is a great place to enjoy all PTown has to offer.
This was our second stay at this clean, bright, comfortable rental. The location on Commercial St is hard to beat & the view from the deck/porch is consistently stunning. We also love the full kitchen (and dishwasher) for cooking at home. Washer & dryer also make things convenient (can pack fewer things & just do a load of wash mid-stay). Owners are friendly & provide clear, consistent communication. Looking forward to a third stay!
Beautiful property on the East end gallery district with absolutely amazing views and beach access
Loved staying at this property. The accommodations were great. The bathrooms are updated and comfortable. The bedrooms have extra blankets if it’s cold and the AC and heat works perfectly. The open concept living room - kitchen is great. The best part is the view and the easy access to the beach. We loved it and utilized this part multiple times a day. Dog friendly was also an added bonus because in Ptown everybody loves their dogs. The keyless entry and access to the property was simple and convenient. The only thing to know is there are a lot of stairs if you come in the front door entrance and also a lot of stairs if you come up the back deck entrance. Wasn’t a problem for us, but just something to consider if people have issues with stairs. The only other issue with the property, which is really out of their control, is that next-door they are doing active construction on the property. This meant that at 8 AM they were using all of their equipment and making a fair amount of noise all through the day until about 2:30-3pm. This was a bit inconvenient since we spent so much time on the dock and we were competing with the construction noise and the music and conversations from the working crew. But again it was only until about 3 PM and at the end of the day the property is so wonderful and the views are so beautiful it was worth it. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing condo on the water in an amazing location!!
This condo in the east end on the harbor was by far one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in! The location is absolutely perfect and a short walk to everything. The condo itself was beautiful with two decent sized rooms and full baths. Even the water pressure in the showers was excellent. The deck overlooking the water is lovely and spacious. The whole place seemed newly renovated and very clean and was extremely comfortable. The hosts thought of everything we needed to make our stay as easy as possible. Check in and out is a breeze. The only tough part was squeezing into the parking spot but once we were there we just left our car and walked everywhere. Will definitely try and stay again!!

About the host
Hosted by Steve Lawler & Liz Cesario
We've been coming to Provincetown since we were kids. Our children would spend summers here and now their kids love coming here. We finally decided to open up our home so that others can enjoy this gem by the bay. We named it Porto Sereno which translates to Calm Harbor in both Italian and Portuguese. It is a nod to Liz's Italian and Steve's Portuguese ancestries.
Why they chose this property
How can you possibly beat a waterfront home in the east end surrounded by galleries and moments away from restaurants and all that Provincetown has to offer?
