We have stayed at Makena Surf before and love the condo complex. It is quiet, out of busier Kihei, but close to Kihei. There are great shops and restaurants nearby. The views from the condo are amazing! We watched sea turtles from the lanai everyday. The beach is quiet and calm. The condo was very clean and well acquitted. There was plenty of room for us and two adult daughters. Kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire complex is kept immaculate. It's a garden. We will continue to come back as often as we can. Hoping to come for the whales in February and will definitely stay at Makena Surf.

This is an excellent property and unit with a fantastic view. The tennis courts, pool, and beach are off the charts perfect. A very relaxing stay in beautiful Makena overlooking Turtle Town. Highly recommended!

The view is amazing! Top floor unit, views of whales jumping and sunsets. Two great beaches with snorkeling. The property grounds are a tropical garden. Condo was very comfortable and well stocked.

Our stay at the Makena Surf condo was amazing! It was located in the perfect location overlooking the ocean. The beach and pool are very close to the condo. The views from both lanais were stunning. The condo was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. There were 6 of us and the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect for us. I highly recommend staying here. The host was very good at communicating with us as well and the check in process was great. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely look to stay here again if we visit Maui again in the future.

Spectacular

Patty and the Alii team were fantastic hosts and the property was perfect. The huge lanai’s with beautiful views were a highlight, as was the well-stocked unit and proximity to beach and pools. Recommend!!

Aloha, We are surprised at the "little dated" comment on our condo, since in 2020, we completed a massive renovation/remodel of our entire unit - including the kitchen, all three bathrooms, all tile and carpets throughout, all new interior doors, reworked floor plan, new grass wallpaper in the hall and great room, new paint throughout, and reconstruction of the two large lanais. Maybe the comment was about our some of our lanai furniture, which we are in the process of replacing. (With supply chain and shipping issues, it takes time to receive new items). However, we already have replaced the lanai dining tables and chairs and have a brand new Weber grill.

Beautiful Vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation here. The location could not be better. Located essentially between two private beaches, great snorkeling, beautiful views, and a very comfortable unit and entire property. We booked for next year before we left. Can’t wait to come back.

Breath taking view
