This 3 Bedroom skyhome has direct, unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. Take it all in from any room through floor to ceiling windows, or sit out with your morning coffee on the private balcony. Featuring a King bed in the Master, two Queen beds in the second, a Queen bed in the third, and a sleeper sofa this unit has the capacity to sleep 10 guests quite comfortably. As it is located on the corner of the building the balcony wraps completely around the corner, and offers an electric grill for personal use. With the heated pool and spa at the base of the tower, and the beach a mere 100 yards away you cannot go wrong!

With private water-view balconies, each is equipped with all the conveniences you'd expect to find in a premier resort, including spacious closets with extra linens and pillows, as well as a dishwasher, washer/dryer and much more. Every room has its own full bathroom plus a half-bath for Sky Home common-area use. Each of Portofino's five Mediterranean-inspired towers features its own exclusive outdoor pool and revitalizing whirlpool spa, plus covered parking for your convenience.

Fantastic location

Portofino is a perfect getaway for a family with teens/tweens. The beach is beautiful and there are many things for teens/tweens to do throughout the property. We will be back.

Great accommodations

Overall we liked the property. It needs some good lamps in the living room and more comfortable outside furniture. Everyone we encountered at Portofino were extremely nice!

Pensacola beach /Portifino resort

The condo was very nice and spacious. Owner was very responsive to questions. The resort itself as the available activities were nice but very pricey. It would be nice to have a bigger variety of options for the resort activities with more affordable prices for families . . Some beach chairs / umbrella and sand toys would be an added benefit at the condo for renters or at least a discount on the resort options .

Paradise

Pensacola Beach is one of my all time favorite beaches, but we were new to staying at Portofino. The accommodations were amazing. From the first step you take into the unit, all the way through until you see the wrap around balcony that reveals a bay and Ocean front view, you will be blown away. There was so much for the whole family at Portofino. My favorite of course is the short walk to the beach, but the days found my teens both bay and ocean side enjoying plenty of activities. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we wanted to stay one more day; unfortunately, the unit was already rented. We will be back!

Condo is gorgeous - housekeeping needs to be more attentive. Also, left clothes in a dresser in the bedroom with 2 double beds and I can’t get a response about them.

What you really need to know!

This condo was gorgeous. Lots of space with a great balcony. The amenities to the resort are great. Can get pricey since it all can be charged to your room by your room card. Everyone we encountered were nice. So yes I would highly recommend. Now for the things that you really need to know. When I book a place there are things I look for. Like how is it supplied. This way I can account for how much I need to pack or not pack. There are basic supplies offered. For example: cooking tools. Things you may not think about but need to bring or purchase for this stay. 1- Coffee (they give you 1 hotel packet) you will need also filters for the coffee maker, sugar and cream if you use them 2- Laundry detergent (they give you a sample packet) you need dryer sheets if you use them. 3- Dishwasher soap (they give you a sample packet) 4- a sponge if you want to wash dishes (they do give you a sample of dish soap) 5- There are no extra blankets- All beds has a sheet (they are not high end )and one thin blanket. 6-No Beach towels and you don't want to use the towels from the condo because you only get 2 big towels, 2 face towel and 2 hand towels per bathroom. Also take in mind that you have to walk to the beach. so everything you want to take, like cooler, towels, floats, toys, sunscreen, chairs and umbrellas (unless you rent chairs and umbrellas) you have to carry it a hundred yards. So if you drive down bring a wagon. Also understand this hike is also through the sand it gets quit tough. 7-More of a warning for those that care about thing like this. Toilet paper is not quality paper. Its on the thing and harsh side. 8- This is a plus, the refrigerator makes Ice this is very useful. 9 Also a plus, there were holel bag carts(plenty of them) to use to unload your bags and take to your condo. So again I would highly recommend a stay here. Beside the Items above, the only other thing I would have liked to have had in the condo would have been some rugs. Especially in the bathrooms. The tile can get slippery when wet. I will definitely come back to the Portofino resort.

Great location

Great location, only complaint was not enough towels for a big group of people, or cleaning supplies. The resort said it’s the owners responsibility the owner said the resort provides. Some disconnect there. Otherwise it was a nice get away!
