Immaculate, updated 2 bedroom cottage on the east side of Owasco Lake. Easily accessible! Spacious, level yard leading to a 40' stony beach. The cottage features 2 bedrooms (one king size bed, one queen size bed), full bath with corner shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, living room with sleeper-sofa, dining area, laundry facilities, and enclosed lake side porch. There's a patio outside the back door with picnic table and grill. Lake side patio with bench and chairs to sit and enjoy the fabulous sunsets! A few steps take you down to the shoreline and dock. Great place, steps from the lake. Small, but fine for our family of 4. Owner lives a few doors down. Very nice. Quiet residential neighborhood. Would definitely go back!

I've rented dozens of camps/houses, etc all across the US. I housesat for 3 years; beautiful homes. I even housesat in Fiji for 4 months. This home is top 3, no doubt. Excellent everything. Private each is perfect for any age (had my grandkids visit). Quiet location, central air, anything you can imagine needing. Going back in Sept. 2025 for a little fishing/golfing. Also figuring out which 2 weeks I'm getting July/Aug 2026.

Sweet getaway

This cottage was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. The three-season porch was perfect for reading and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The location is outside of town with all conveniences just a short drive away. We owners were just two houses down and very pleasant. It was a pleasure to meet them while we were there.

Perfect… with one notable exception

The house, location, weather were all sublime. Had the chance to speak with the owners and they were terrific. Then there was the property manager…..She was out of town, had failed to send the access code and didn’t reply to my message until the next morning!! The chance communication with the owners got us in. But once the manager knew we were in that was it. We did not hear another peep from her. No inquiry if there was anything else we might need. When you screw up, own it and make amends promptly. “Oops this never happens” doesn’t cut it. If she had followed up with a mea culpa I wouldn’t be writing this now. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Aside from that hiccup it was a perfect stay. Thanks and we would consider returning.

Nicely decorated small cottage on the water.

This cottage was a joy to rent. It was well decorated, with attention to detail, and comfortable. The water access was good and it had chairs near the water. It was great to just sit and enjoy watching the boats and the sunsets, which were lovely. Good place to launch a kayak or canoe.

Cute Cottage!

I needed a quiet get-away and this sweet little cottage gave me just that! Located in a small neighborhood, this cottage provided all necessities and a few extras. I wouldn't say that the cottage is anything fancy, but it went way beyond my expectations by providing an extremely clean, safe, and comfortable stay. It's located lakefront and the sunsets were beautiful. I would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and if I need another get-away, I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Wonderful cottage!

Immaculately clean and comfy cottage. This was the perfect place to just relax and unwind. Beautiful view of the lake and the fall foliage.

Perfect Lake Getaway

This property was a wonderful combination of “classic” lake cottage and up to date amenities, with everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing experience. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we’ve already reserved another week next year. It was truly perfect in every way!

Relaxing family time away with beautiful views of the lake

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage with great views on the lake. The cottage was well taken care of and was close to many state parks and Finger Lakes wineries. The neighbors were very friendly and we enjoyed the quietness of the place as well.

Lovely Lake Retreat

I had such a wonderful time at the little blue cottage. Waking up every morning, taking my coffee to the bench and watching the lake wake up was exactly what I needed. It's a quick trip to Auburn and Skanneateles, and so many activities to do right on the lake. I'll be back!

Very Relaxing

Great location for catching beautiful sunsets. Shaded lawn and great enclosed porch. Easy access to the water and for putting in kayaks.
