Our Cottage In The Rye is your home away from home while you explore the bourbon trail. With room to sleep 6 guests, 2 1/2 baths, a large living room w gas fireplace, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a dining room to seat 8, there is plenty of space to spread out comfortably. If you're tired from your travels, we're walking distance to a hot meal, a drink at the speak easy or a soda pop at the local drug store. If you're staying in, enjoy the backyard grill and quiet neighborhood! We can't wait to have you stay with us in this cozy country home!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. It is a very comfortable, quiet and clean home. It has a great backyard and the location is perfect to walk into town and the driving distances to many distilleries is ideal.

Perfect location if you are visiting Bardstown. Walking distance to courthouse square, many restaurants, historical area. We had three couples. This house was much better for us rather than a hotel. We prepared our own breakfast and had plenty of room to hang out in the evenings.Highly recommend.

What a perfect choice we made when choosing "Cottage In The Rye". So nice, so comfy, so clean - so everything! Ashley knows her stuff when it comes to hosting - the kitchen is well stocked, and there are plenty of towels, linens and toiletries available. The location in town is within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Loved, loved, loved our stay.

Great little house in the heart of all that is bourbon. Literally a 7 minute walk to downtown Bardstown and right in the area of all the distilleries. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Basement will be a nice addition once its finished.

Our “Cottage in The Rye” stay was wonderful! Ashley, our Host, was friendly and quick to respond throughout the process. The cottage was cozy, clean, and welcoming. The beds were so comfortable, as well as the sofa (a favorite)! The Christmas tree and decor were lovely and appreciated! We enjoyed being close to downtown and easily reached our planned activities. We loved “A Christmas Carol” at My Old Kentucky Home State Park, the Dinner Train, shopping, and Marker’s Mark Distillery. Thank you Ashley for a delightful stay!!

Amazing location for visiting downtown.

This was our homebase for the Bardstown portion of our Bournon Trail trip. Downtown Bardstown is a great place to unwind after hitting the distilleries, and it's all walking distance from this nice place
