About this property

Stunning Timbers ski-in/ski-out, above the base lodge and SuperQuad

Let us welcome you to our home where you will experience the majesty of Sugarloaf mountain. Situated right off the trail, step off the back deck and hop on your skis to head down to the SuperQuad and base lodge. Ski home for lunch or a snack between runs. Enjoy apres ski on the afternoon sun-drenched deck or by the river rock gas fireplace. Cook dinner in the welcoming and updated kitchen, or stroll down to the village to enjoy one of the many local restaurants.

High up on the mountain above the central lift, the trails leading to this condo have natural and man-made snow coverage for true ski-in/ski-out from December to April.

Our condo offers three levels of living space with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and an open-concept kitchen and dining and living space with stone fireplace.

The first floor entrance level boasts a large foyer with ample room for ski and gear storage, a bunk room with full and twin beds, a private full bathroom, and a rumpus room with television and pull-out couch. There is also a laundry room on this floor.

On the second level you will find an updated kitchen with dining table that accommodates 8-10 people, counter seating for 4, a half bath, and a living room with a fireplace, a television, and a sliding glass door that opens onto the deck with direct trail access onto Lower Scoot.

There are three bedrooms on the third floor. The master bedroom has a king bed and private full bath. The two other bedrooms share a full bathroom and both rooms have spectacular views of the valley and the Bigelow mountains in the distance. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other holds two built-in twin beds.

High speed WiFi throughout the home. Smart televisions with cable in the entrance level living space and second floor living room. Appointed with new hypoallergenic bedding. Ridiculously clean.

Sugarloaf is a very family friendly mountain with a great ski school and many other apres ski activities such as swimming at the health club, skating, bowling, sledding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, etc. Spring/summer/fall guests can also enjoy the world-class Sugarloaf golf course, hiking, zip lining, leaf peeping, fishing, boating, and local music. Great hotel-alternative for extended families attending weddings in the area.

This is a great place for one or two families, or if you prefer an adult ski getway, nicely accommodates 3 couples where each can have their own bathroom and privacy. Maximum for adults is 6, maximum number of children depends on number of adults (maximum occupancy is 8 total). Minimum age for primary renter is 27.

New hot tub in 2020. Please note that the doorbell camera on the back door does show the entire deck, including the hot tub area, if activated. Per VRBO requirements, please take that into consideration when deciding upon bathing attire.

We are taking special measures to clean and sanitize between guests. At this time we unfortunately cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs.

While we love animals, we have chosen to keep our property pet-free so as to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

You can literally get everyone dressed and out the door and tell them not to come home until lunch.

My family has been skiing at Sugarloaf for 45 years, and we love it. This home is ready for your family to make lifelong memories, too!

Comfortable, stunning, slopeside Condo!
Stayed here for 2nd weekend in April. Great ski-on,ski-off location. The host’s home was lovely, spacious and super comfortable. The fireplace was terrific, as was the outdoor jacuzzi. Communication was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped. Great vestibule with lots of places to hang equipment and let damp clothes dry. Hope to be back next year.

Lovely property in a great location. Hosts Katherine and Chris have a gerat property that is clean, well appointed, and comfortable. They set things up for an easy check in and check out, and checked in by text during arrival to make sure things are set. Sugarloaf is a long drive for us, but next time we go I'll be looking to rent from Katherine and Chris before looking anywhere else!

Amazing Vacation
This was our second annual trip to Katherine and Chris’ townhouse at Sugarloaf and we can’t wait to go back. Our accommodations were again perfect! The townhouse is bigger and more beautiful and grand than the pictures even make it feel. When we walk in it always feels like home away from home. The kitchen is great for cooking and eating family dinners and is easy to navigate. The beds are very comfortable with lush comforters. You definitely get what you pay for in every respect and it’s well worth it! Seeing the skiers and groomers go by everyday out the window (or from the hot tub) never gets old. The hot tub on the deck is lovely with heated pads to keep your toes warm even on the coldest of sugarloaf days. Our littles we’re able to ski down to the lodge easily from the townhouse even with our littlest on a leash with dad behind. The perfect turn ski school is fantastic for littles and we watched ours advance their abilities every day! The lower mountain lifts are great for beginners while the higher terrain will keep expert skiers happily entertained for days on end. Katherine and Chris are very easy to communicate with and are very committed to making everyone feel welcomed in their home. They are indeed the ideal hosts. You can’t go wrong with choosing this rental.

Wonderful place, perfect location, amazing hosts
This is the second time that that we’ve stayed in this unit with hosts Kate and Chis. Our previous review of the stay is likely still available on this site. In short we were delighted with everything across the board including the beautiful setting, furnishings and very fully equipped kitchen (which we used for every meal). We also noted that Kate was an excellent host keeping us well informed about everything. This time around, we were even more impressed despite a snag that could have ruined our stay. It was one of those things that no one could have anticipated—a critical part of the furnace gave out just as we were settling in. What could have been a a very difficult situation was solved by the prompt and tireless work of K & C to track down the part, find someone to drive a great distance to retrieve it, and arrange for the fix immediately thereafter. In the interim, they made sure that we stayed warm with portable heaters and also had access to hot showers nearby. Also impressive was how well equipped they were for having a 2 year old guest. Our grandson was able to sleep in a pack and play that was in the unit and play with toys that were age appropriate. We had a wonderful time and were and are grateful for our hosts.

My family has been skiing at Sugarloaf since 1975. We now have a little girl and are having a blast teaching her to tear down the mountain. We hope you will have a great time here, too!
