Gold hill (5 mi.). Most areas 15-20 min drive. Great central location in a safe, rural location.

Pet Friendly
We welcome your dog with prior permission! There is a $55 per stay per pet fee. Limited to 2 medium size dogs with prior approval. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a dog and we will be in touch after the booking is completed to collect the pet fee. Deaf service dog on premises.

Our cleaners deep clean/disinfect all surfaces between guests and wash/sanitize all linens. We follow Airbnb COVID 19 cleaning protocol. The health and safety of our guests and cleaning crew is our priority. We value our housekeeping crew and provide a living wage. Please ask us if you have concerns about cleaning protocol. Check local COVID restrictions for closed venues and restaurants.
Environmentally friendly
In Spring 2022 we installed a solar photovoltaic system that is designed to generate all of the power needed by guests--therefore providing a carbon-neutral stay from an electricity usage perspective! This system will provide all the energy needed to operate the stove, heat water for your showers, run the air conditioner or the heating unit, watch tv, keep the lights on, charge your batteries, and meet all your other electricity needs using clean energy from the sun. This added benefit to you is in keeping with the environmental ethos of Stay Cascadia.
Additional Guidelines / Important Information
Our maximum occupancy permit is 4 guests total for maximum 14 nights.
The guesthouse is 1000 sq ft. with a balcony overlooking the Rogue River. The space is not suitable for events, gatherings or children under 12.
For our guests safety and due to our rural forested location and fire danger, fireworks, firearms and smoking or vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Our guesthouse is smoke free for your health and safety.

Your privacy is respected while a guest. Host residence is 80 ft. from guesthouse. Both buildings face the river and you will rarely see hosts unless using driveway. Hosts are available to make your stay comfortable.
We are a county permitted BNB and abide by the terms of our permit. The above House Rules are for the safety, health, and comfort of our guests, cleaning crew, and neighbors. Our family is fully vaccinated.
Streamlined Communication
Stay Cascadia utilizes automated messaging to ensure an enjoyable experience for all our guests. We provide a checklist that allows guests to select early check-in or a late check-out, notifies us if a guest wants to bring a pet, as well as provides clear check-in instructions and the opportunity to share those instructions with your party. Rest assured there is a human monitoring all of this so if you have an actual question we will get back to you as soon as possible.
No public access to river from guesthouse. Public access nearby at Gold Hill Park and park at the end of our road. Dog Park located in Gold Hill. Walking path on property with numerous hiking trails nearby.
Weather/Climate
Please note that we do not offer free cancellation due to inclement weather, poor air quality, or high wildfire danger in the area, unless active road closures due to fire or weather conditions prohibit guests from accessing the house, or advise guests to evacuate during their stay (Level 2 or higher fire evacuation notice, or road closures completely prohibit travel from guests’ point of origin to the house).
If Level 2 or higher fire evacuation notice is in effect or road closures completely prohibit travel from guests' point of origin to the house we will refund the guest each night that is in effect. If evacuation notice and closures remain in effect beyond half of the guest's scheduled stay we will issue an entire refund. In the case of a cancellation, the guest is required to make that cancellation and/or reschedule through VRBO.
