We loved this location and house so much last year that we booked it again. This is a very comfortable home in a great location. We hiked every day on the Superior Hiking Trail, went to the International Wolf Center in Ely and drove up to Grand Marais & Lutsen. Fall on the north shore is wonderful.

Incredible view of Lake Superior. The location of the house is incredible and offers access to several trails, towns, etc - all well within an hour drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Sister’s Getaway

The cabin was very clean and had everything for a comfortable stay. It has a great view of Lake Superior and is within a reasonable driving distance to everything the North Shore has to offer.

Great views and location

The house sits on top of the hill and you have amazing views of Lake Superior and the boats going by. It is very close to big attractions like Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls etc.. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again!!

A wonderful getaway!!

The view was amazing as advertised. The place was clean and cozy and the manager was so nice and helpful. We hope to come back when we can sit out on the deck and check out some warmer weather in this truly awesome cabin!

A cabin we will come back to for years

This is our 3rd stay at Superior View & we'll definitely be back. Great to be near Grand Marais, Tettegouche, & Duluth. Fall colors were absolutely gorgeous. Had a full moon full over a bonfire!

Breathtaking view

Homelike cozy environment with everything you need for relaxation. If you want to venture out there are many state parks with hiking trails and local skiing all within 10-45 minutes of property. Definitely recommend!!

Superior View

The view of Lake Superior was spectacular! Great location. We spent a day in Grand Marais and some time at Tettegouche State Park. The cabin was great and accommodating for 4 adults and 2 kids.

The property is absolutely lovely. It has been totally remodeled and updated. The view of Lake Superior is amazing. It has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and is exceptionally clean.

Great comfortable cabin w/view

Large enough for our family, could have had friends to, yet cozy enough to connect with each other. The view was fun to see it change, day by day as the weather changes.

Superior View is right!

Our family of 5 loved this cabin! I can tell you without hesitation that it was teenager/young adult approved. The views were stunning no matter which direction you looked. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The communication with the owner was super easy. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Everything Perfect

Our family of adult kids and one dog spent a delightful long weekend at the Superior View. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular from the deck. Plenty of room inside this beautiful cozy home. It was so well supplied with everything a person needs. The location was great and what a perfect spot on the deck to gaze at the stars. Beds comfortable, very clean and roomy. Five plus stars.

Beautiful accommodation and scenic view

Really glad to be able to bring our dog on this cabin trip. The fee for pets is agreeable. In the planning of our trip, we brought dog food but had forgotten to bring the bowls. It would have been nice to have some pet bowls as backup at the cabin, but understandable that was on us to prepare. It was a beautiful cabin, and had the privacy we wanted. Xxxx

An incredible stay - we already want to go back!

This property was simply joyful - a perfect getaway from the Twin Cities over Thanksgiving weekend.. we loved EVERY.SINGLE.MINUTE.. while at the cabin - the games, the reclining sofas, the movies, the decor.. THE VIEW! We couldn't get enough! And then we had amazing short visits to the Split Rock Lighthouse, Black Sand Beach, Tettegouche - we became rock skipping experts! We truly want to come back - maybe for a month of remote work / school. Thank you to the amazing hosts for having thought of everything to give this family an amazing getaway and stay!

Winter getaway

We loved this VRBO. It was perfect for us and we were so happy to have snow! The location was peaceful and Beautiful with plenty of room to walk the dog. I was looking forward to using the snowshoes provided but we didn’t end up doing that as we spent our days away exploring the state parks. The cabin is roomy and comfortable with a large dinning room table from which the big lake is visible. This is perhaps a bit odd but we tend to eat all meals at the VRBO’s and I truly appreciated the large number of plates and bowls available. We hope to return again.

Missing the view already

This was our second stay at Superior View, and I'm certain it will not be our last. Nothing beats sitting out on the deck any time of day and looking out over the lake. Especially beautiful this time of year with all the colorful leaves. Location is in the middle of everything... cabin is super clean and comfortable... has everything you need. Our 4 year old thinks the bunk beds are the best thing. TV with Roku/Disney+ etc was great to have with the kids. Our dogs enjoy all the sniffs and walks around the cabin. Just really can't wait until our next visit !
