Welcome to "Le Lys Rouge",our provencal villa (120 m2)ideally located at the beginning of the Cap d'Antibes.
A residential area less than 300 yards from the beautiful sandy beach LA SALIS.
In a well planted closed garden (600 m2) with olives trees,the villa includes a swimming pool (with alarm) of 20m2 which can be heated. Shaded terrasse and secured parking (one vehicule).Electric gates ,barbecue.
2 bikes are also available.

Fantastic property and fantastic location. Right from the welcome from our host Michel to any questions during our hotel the commutation was excellent. Villa was near shop and bakers, and only a few hundred yards from Salis beach. Perfect location for days out but also for days at the Villa by the pool. We will definitely return.Many Thanks!

We have just had an amazing holiday at the villa. It’s such a lovely place. The nearest sandy beach is easily walkable. Air conditioning in every room was great and worked well. The outside areas are also fantastic and we made much use of the lovely pool and terrace. We would love to return in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was beautiful, perfectly located and Michel and Fiona were fantastic hosts! Our flight was delayed 5 hours, so we didn't arrive until 1:00am, and Michel still waited for us and met us at the house. He even had a very appreciated bottle of Prosecco waiting for us! We can't wait to return at some point. It was a happy place to be! 5 stars all the way!

Have been coming to this great villa for 3 years (family of four), great location on the Cap but close enough to stroll into Antibes or Juan Les Pins. Owner and caretaker very friendly and helpful.

A great Villa close to Salis Beach, walking distance to Antibes and Juan Le Pins.

Perfect family vacation with 2 kids (under 4yrs). Position of Villa was ideal, within walking distance of Antibes and Juan Le Pins. Very well maintained and decorated internally, beautiful garden and Pool to relax in after a morning on the beach. Fully recommended for a family vacation on the Cap.

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay on Chemin de l'Ermitage. The property is beautiful and extremely well located. Everything was as advertised. Dealing with Michel was a charm! I would not hesitate to recommend this property very fondly!

Fantastic location with walking distance to everything you need. Pictures really give justice to the house. Well equipped kitchen - it really feels like your in a ”home” not something made solely for rental. We would love to return!

We returned this summer after a great experience here in 2021. Villa has the benefit of great location with very nice interiors, garden and pool. Service level from owner and team are always five star.

Fantastic location

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house with good facilities. Michel have a warm welcome. Pool was lovely, especially enjoyed the seating in the pool - lovely area to read a book. Very much appreciated the bikes for cycling to the bakery every morning. Short walk to lovely beach and food at beach huts was good and inexpensive. Easy walk to Antibes and Juan-les-pins for great restaurants. Fantastic local seafood restaurant - Chez Mô. All in all we didn’t want to leave.

Perfect place

Michel and Fiona’s place is a perfect place for exploring this area. We hired a car but only used it once as it’s possible to walk everywhere. The beaches in Antibes are close and so is the old town with all its shops, restaurants and bars, one fun place to go is the Absinthe bar which has live music and great atmosphere. The beaches in Juan Les Pines are also reachable by foot. Michel and Fiona also kindly let us use their bikes which was perfect for a trip to the lighthouse and around Cap d’Antibes. The house was big enough for us 5 with 3 teenagers and the pool and seating areas in the garden gives even more space for everyone to spread out. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely love to come back.

Wonderful property

Our stay at Le Lys Rouge was simply lovely. The house is one of those ones you wished you owned. It’s perfectly located, five minutes from the beach and a leisurely walk to Juan Les Pins. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The decor is authentically Provençal and very tasteful. The pool is a pleasant temperature and not too deep, which is perfect for children. There is aircon throughout but the house is cool and breezy so you don’t always need to use it. Michel and Fiona take their responsibilities seriously and every query was answered very quickly. Will definitely book this property again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Holiday home with Style

Pay a little extra and you get the best quality. This is a very stylish house in the heart of Antibes. The owners have renovated to a very high standard and the interior decoration and furnishings are perfect. As others have said in their reviews, this is more like a home than a sparsely furnished rental. The house was spotless when we arrived and everything works as it should. The private outdoor seating area has a large cantilever umbrella which covers the generous comfy sofas/chairs. Pool is all in great working order and is cleaned/maintained mid week. In summary this is a high quality property which has everything you need to support a holiday or break in one of the best locations on Côte d'Azur.

Absolutely beautiful villa in lovely area!

We have stayed at the villa for around 2weeks and we absolutely loved it. Villa is so beautiful, has everything you need and in a really nice location. Salis beach is about 5 minutes walk away and Juan les pins is about 15minutes walk. About 10 minutes walk away there is a lovely bakery that has pretty much everything- great selection of sandwiches, salads, , bread, croissants and delicious omelettes. Also next to bakery there is small supermarket with fresh fruit and everything else you’ll need. We really liked Antibes, there is so much to do apart from beautiful beaches- we took trains to Cannes (10 minutes) Monaco (50minutes) and Grasse (30min) +Antibes itself is such a beautiful town with lots of lovely restaurants, beautiful walks, Picasso museum and of course gorgeous beaches/Marina’s. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much Michel!

Disappointing experience

We are a family of 5 which rented this villa for 15 days on a short notice. Although Cap d’Antibes is a very nice area to visit our experience was poor mostly due to this property. We feel that the photos give a wrong impression of the properterty itself. All photographs are cleverly taken at angles that give an impression of a larger space, both inside the house and outside area. The house is hardly “recently renovated” and one of the bathrooms (not in any of the pictures) is not presentable guests. The pool is very small and has a concrete bench in it so it is borderline hazardous for children playing and jumping in the pool. The owners also left used sponges us to use for cleaning dishes etc and the soaps in the bathrooms and shower were also old and used. Not charming. They also charge you for the use of electricity separately and ask you to pay in cash. Cap d’Antibes is a very nice area so the location is pretty good. However, I would not recommend Salis beach which is the closest beach to the house. Plage Keller and Plage Piraten were both good albeit you need to have a car or take a taxi to get there. Overall a disappointing experience with the property and we can not recommend it. We actually left the property with still a week left of the rental period we had paid for. However, the area is nice and some of the beaches and restaurants are great.

Beautiful home and Great Location to the Sea

The location of this home is very convenient to walk to both Antibes and Juan Les Pins. The home is beautiful and exceeds most rental homes. It is tastefully decorated and private. Par-fait!

Très belle maison , jardin et terrasses très bien conçus. Location parfaitement équipée en tout! Très bonne literie et très jolie décoration cosy et chaleureuse. On s’y sent comme chez soi. Belle piscine entretenue chaque semaine. Localisation exceptionnelle : au calme mais néanmoins très proche de la plage. On peut tout faire à pied: les courses, plages et croques et vieux village d’antibe. Fiona et michel, les propriétaires sont super sympas et très accueillants. Rien à redire!

La maison du bonheur

Michel & Fiona se mettent en quatre pour faire en sorte que le séjour se passe au mieux. Toujours disponibles pour les petits réglages de l'arrivée - ils sont parfaitement entourés avec Alan (adorable et qui vaut 5 étoiles aussi) toujours présent en cas de besoin. Bref, tout ne peut que se passer au mieux dans une villa dans laquelle en 1 heure on a l'impression d'être chez soi. La plage d'Antibes ( la plus agréable) à 5 minutes (en trainant) offre un panorama magique sur le vieil Antibes et la baie de Nice. Nous avons passé là-bas un de nos meilleurs séjours de vacances.

A great stay

This is a very well equipped house in an excellent location. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, with a few restaurants within easy walking distance. There are also a few supermarkets with in a short drive. It's a 20 minute walk into Antibes. We had a lovely 2 week stay here and enjoyed the air conditioned house during the heat of the day. The pool is on the small side but does the job, the children enjoyed it immensely.

A stylish and homely villa in beautiful Riviera

We are a family from Texas, USA and spent a week in Villa Le Lys Rouge. When we arrived we walked into the beautiful garden, roses and olive trees, surrounding the villa. The house is stylish and homely, lovely decor and very well equipped. Coming from Texas where we live with air conditioning, we were pleased to find this equipment in every room! The English television as well as french is a plus. The villa is very well situated. A less than 5 minutes walk to the sandy Salis beach, 10 minutes walk to the nearest food shops and a lovely walk along the seafront to Antibes old town with a large choice of restaurants. We were pleased to find two new bicycles supplied by the owners and went on some nice rides around the cap d'Antibes. The small garden and pool were a welcome respite after a day out. It will be a pleasure to return to The Lys Rouge.

Near the shops and restaurants (10 minutes walk)and not far from Antibes old town center and train station.A local bus just near bye goes into Antibes center twice an hour.
