Great stay. Enjoyed the lake and the fishing. Perfect for getaway weekend and privacy. Host and property manager great to work with and quick to respond with any questions or needs.
We had an amazing relaxing time at the lake! The host was more than helpful. The property itself was clean and had everything we needed. The view was breath taking and I felt right at home. Will definitely stay again!

Check in directions said to call the host to obtain the keys. After numerous texts and no response, we just showed up to find the keys were placed on the counter. It was super hard to find the camper number. When walking in there was a strong roach bait smell. My husband tried to heat his food in the microwave to find it filled with ants (I have taken a pic). We also attempted a shower and when turning it on the shower head fell. It was very serene out at the lake though, but camper just needs better cleaning and potentially some updates.

I'm sorry for the issues you encountered and thank you for the feedback. These issues have been addressed.
Lake is very pretty. If the weather will be cold dress super warm because camper doesn’t stay warm even if heat is cranked all the way up. Deck was pretty green with mold and slippery when wet but a nice size and it was neat to be next to the water. Mike was very nice and helpful.

First, you can’t swim in the lake, so this would only be a good spot for fishing or boating. I wish that had been more clear in the listing. The RV itself is spacious and cute. It was mostly clean. The top bunk bed had dirty sheets, the microwave was dirty, and there are mushrooms growing in the ceiling of the living room area. It definitely needs some TLC to be worth the price I paid. The area itself is quiet and the lake is beautiful. This location is water front and there is a dock. There’s also an incredibly friendly duck that joined us for breakfast (don’t feed the wildlife human food no matter how cute they are). The steps are really steep and wouldn’t be friendly to anyone with limited mobility. Some people in other reviews have complained about the RV stinking, but I think it’s the lake itself that has a smell sometimes. My guess is that the sewage from the campsite goes into the lake. It was about 50/50 if the RV was going to smell bad whenever we were there. Communication was also a bit frustrating. Mike sent a long message immediately after our reservation was confirmed and notified us of the rules. His message also ordered us to send the reason for our stay which I found inappropriate. We didn’t have hot water the first day of our stay, I reached out to Mike and never heard back. His brother arrived early the next morning without warning and came in to fix it. He was really nice, but it’s scary to be woken up by a stranger banging on the door in a new place.
The host was very kind and accommodating. The area was beautiful, peaceful, great for a family trip, not far from shops. The camper was clean, had all necessities and useful appliances in good working order. The deck, dock, and some furniture were slightly weather-worn, but nothing unsafe or unreasonable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return for a longer trip in the future. I definitely recommend this rental for single travelers, couples, or small families.
