We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Daniel’s home. The space was beautifully decorated with a modern, thoughtfully designed interior—everything felt brand new and state-of-the-art. It was, without question, the most immaculate rental we’ve ever experienced. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was perfect for relaxing after a day out. Daniel was a responsive and gracious host throughout our stay.We really enjoyed exploring Harrisburg—don’t miss the local market and the many small businesses nearby. The home is conveniently located within walking distance of the river trail, and it was inspiring to see the neighborhood undergoing such a vibrant revitalization.Though it’s about an hour to an hour and a half from Penn State, we’re already planning to return for a game weekend this year. A truly exceptional stay—10 out of 10!

Stuart and I have lived in Harrisburg for 15+ years, and we love this small, lively city so much! Stuart is the Producing Artistic Director at Open Stage, downtown, and I'm a User Interface designer.

Throughout my house, you'll notice some helpful tips, thoughtful touches, and amenities that will hopefully help you enjoy your stay in Harrisburg. If there's something I can do to help you enjoy your stay, I will try to do it!

I am very detail-oriented and it definitely shows throughout my house. I want to make sure my guests are comfortable and feel at home during their stay.

When I'm not making my house perfect for guests, I like to explore all there is to do in Harrisburg. I have lived in Harrisburg since 2010, and before that I grew up in Rochester, NY. Downstairs I have art and maps of Rochester and Harrisburg, it's a mix of the places I love.

Why they chose this property

Our home is nestled in historic Midtown, a beautiful neighborhood known for its friendly residents, stunning architecture, and a dynamic arts and dining scene.

From here, you're perfectly positioned to explore:
• Culture & Arts: Immerse yourself at the Susquehanna Art Museum (SAM) or catch an indie film at the beloved Midtown Cinema.
• Vibrant Market: Experience the Broad Street Market, the nation's oldest continuously operating farmers market, offering local produce, international foods, and artisan goods.
• Literary Gem: Get lost in the renowned Midtown Scholar Bookstore, a community hub with a vast collection and author events.
• Riverside Charm: Stroll or bike along Riverfront Park for stunning Susquehanna River views, public art, and frequent events.
• Diverse Dining: Indulge in culinary experiences at Café Fresco or McGrath's on Restaurant Row.
• Historic Landmark: The impressive Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex is just a short distance away.
