Lower level has a garage and a bedroom with now steps from the ground floor
1st floor 2 bedrooms and large open kitchen/dinning/Family room area
2nd floor 2 bedrooms and bath with overlooking balcony
Outside large deck with grass area to hang out for yard fun
1/4 mile from Bars,Restaurant, Beer Distributor,
Winery and Beer Brewery are within 1 mile to 20 miles (10 Locations)
Iroquois (IBC) and Midway Beach is 1/2 mile away on same side of the Lake
Main Side Door has Code access for Late arrivals and Key Less Entry
The House is Part of Hazel Park which is a Picnic and Beach Area on the water also a Dock to swim or Fish off and a place to Dock your Boat for Loading and unloading (If would like to use there is an additional $50 Fee to pay at check in that i pay to the Association )

Wedding Travel

The house was great for our large family (8 adults and 1 infant). We were in town for a wedding. Plenty of space at a great price - so much nicer than staying at a hotel. It rained a lot every day so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor spaces nor walk through the quiet neighborhood. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO page. Thanks for wonderful stay.

Great for long weekend

Very clean and spacious, have stayed multiple times now, and look forward to going back.Had a great time tubing at Avalanche Xpress down the road.

Winter Weekend Snow Tubing Trip

House is clean, large bedrooms, with plenty of parking in the driveway, and in a great location for a lake getaway. We always rent this property when using vrbo in Conneaut Lake.

A place to stay.

We needed a place last minute to stay and it took care of that. Overpriced and too many rules. It was a decent place probably better in the summer with the lake close.

We were here visiting family and this location was great for getting to their home. Plus, the lane nearby was beautiful. The house worked out great for us!

Retirement party/golf

Great time with friends celebrating the retirement of one, and golfing with everyone. House was just as listed....clean, accommodating and in very close proximity to our events. Host is very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

One issue is the bathroom that connects the 2 bedrooms. it is not very convenient when people are sleeping in those rooms. Also the back steps have a broken step which is not safe. We had family stay there in April and 2 of the front steps broke while someone was walking up them. Steps need to be safer. They are also a little slippery when it is raining.

Conneaut Lake escape

We did enjoy our stay, our rental was clean, beautiful and hassle free. What more could one want? I have nothing but positives to say about this rental. I do wonder how to get my security deposit back, though. Is that automatic to my credit card or do I have to fill something out?

Absolutely perfect!

Randy, the host, was kind, quick to respond, and accommodating. The house was perfect for the 8 of us who were attending wedding festivities in Meadville. The kitchen had all of the necessities and the bathrooms had plenty of towels & washcloths. It was very clean and the area is quiet. I highly recommend “The Retreat”!

Suits us

It was our 5th year staying at Lakeside Landing. It suits our family with a bathroom on each floor, a wide driveway, a garage for storage, a lovely backyard and fire pit, and access to beach and fishing at the end of the street. Would recommend.

GOLF GETAWAY

The house is impeccably kept, and the owner, Randy, was available for questions and concerns. It is within walking distance of a local restaurant/bar which is very convenient after a day on the golf course. Highly recommend this property to others!

Great place to stay

It’s very hard to find four bedroom homes in this place has all the room that you will need. The home is clean and has all the supplies. It was a third time staying here and will be back.

Great location and lovely home

We had to stay here on short notice to attend a family funeral. My partner and I worked remotely for a week and we cooked many meals for the family. The kitchen was very well equipped. Knives were a bit dull, which is expected in a rental. WiFi was patchy for two days of the stay.

Great house with everything we needed!! Four bedrooms with enough room for everybody. Shower floors needed cleaned and that was the only minor issue. 5-Star accommodations!!

Weekend get away

Enjoyed the property, plenty of space and more than enough room for just the 4 of us. Unfortunately we didn't take advantage of everything the property had to offer. Great location, next to the lake, close to downtown Conneaut Lake and plenty of outdoor activities to do that just around the corner from this property.

Golf Getaway

Perfect accommodations for our foursome. House was clean with plenty of amenities. Location was perfect. Close to the golf course and the restaurants and night life. The host, Randy, is great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Another great conneaut vacation

This was our second stay at this house. The place is very well taking care of and super clean. The kids had a blast fishing, swiming, and setting around the fire making smores.

Great Property!

The house was very comfortable for our larger group. The kitchen was well-stocked, we took advantage of the lovely back yard and we enjoyed playing the games in the closet. We would have liked for the park access to be included in our stay, but enjoyed walking the neighborhood. I would also recommend the nearby Golden Dawn for groceries and incredible donuts!

Great place close to Allegheny College

We stayed at Retreat at the Lake for Allegheny College's graduation weekend. I would imagine most people come here for the lake, but I never even laid eyes on the lake while I was here. My son was graduating from Allegheny in May, and as of the September before, there were no hotel rooms available in the area - I was in a panic. I turned to VRBO and found Retreat at the Lake, and it could not have worked out better! For the price of a couple of hotel rooms, we had a four-bedroom place with a full kitchen, back deck, yard with a firepit...perfect! After graduation my son and several of his friends and their families all came over to the house. We had a cookout, relaxed, got to hear the kids' stories, got to meet my son's friends and their families - it was a great time! I would highly recommend this location to anyone with a college student there - book it every year for move-out weekend, and you have a place for family and friends to hang out and relax. The kitchen was great, we cooked on the grill, we prepped steamers on the firepit... My one word of caution is that I would not have wanted to have young kids at the house, because the upstairs has a rail that overlooks the family room. If I had young kids at the house, that (fairly low) rail would make me nervous. But for adults, an absolutely perfect place to hang out and relax. Randy was very responsive and helpful to questions by text. Many thanks for a great weekend stay!
