-Two more bedrooms are positioned on the other side of the living area, one with a beautiful full-sized bed with pillow-top mattress and closest to the second bathroom, and the other with a full-sized futon, which is comfortable for relaxing and reading, TV viewing, or sleeping.
-Well-stocked kitchen with full and single serve coffee pots, slow cooker, pots/pans, dishes and flatware for 12

Nice, clean home in downtown Hendersonville close to shops, restaurants and tons of Apple orchards. A few nice vineyards as well for tours and wine tasting. 30 minutes from BRP. We had a great stay. Beds were comfy and they had two TVs, 2 nice bedrooms and another smaller bedroom with one futon. Tons of closet space. Nice sitting area in living room, small table for eating that sits 4 and small porch with fire table. Cute neighborhood.

Peaceful location

This is a beautiful quiet location for a relaxing vacation. Beautiful well kept home that is close enough to downtown Hendersonville and major highways to get to all that is offered in the area.

Alleys are narrow and steep in the neighborhood but the home itself was very nice, with all the amenities we could ever need. Close to all the places we wanted to see.

quiet relaxing stay

sandy was great the house was very relaxing, well kept i enjoyed the front porch the best two white squirrels played across the street every morning there were a lot of different birds singing we needed this since we were there for a funeral i will stay there again and that is the highest praise i can give

Truly enjoyed our stay. Coming from FL I found the driveway steep but remember an ant hill in FL is steep. Really was a nice stay very close to downtown but you do need to drive

The home was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed for a week's stay. The owner was very responsive to any questions. The neighborhood was very quiet, which is always so nice to experience when you stay at a rented home. The garage was a great place to store our bikes. The streets are a little confusing, but once you've navigated them a couple of times it becomes easier. I appreciated the cleanliness of the home since I always try to treat a rental the same way I would treat my own home. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone needing a place to relax in Hendersonville.

We love being outdoors in this wonderful part of the world! One of our favorite outings is riding our bikes along the beautiful mountain roads, with the trek to Jump Off Rock being the most common. We also love hiking and exploring nature-scapes so close to home. We feel so blessed to live here and we love sharing about this town with our guests.

Why they chose this property

We moved about a mile from this property in 2018 and have absolutely LOVED the convenience of walking to town for coffee, lunch, or even dinner. We ride our bikes to Patton Park and hop on the Oklawaha Greenway. For a relatively small town, Hendersonville has many delicious restaurants and a vibrant downtown community with street festivals and music concerts in the summer months, as well as parades and celebrations for many holidays throughout the year.

Sylvan Town Cottage is close to parks, a bakery, bagel shop, day spa, restaurants, coffee shop, art gallery, putt-putt, shopping, theater, and hiking. Sidewalks run all the way to town. Easy access offers day trips to Asheville, Brevard, Flat Rock and surrounding areas.

When this unique and cozy cottage came available, we decided to purchase it and share it with guests who come to the area. We have another property, Penrose Mountain View Treehouse #1036767, near hiking in Transylvania County where we have enjoyed hosting many inspiring guests. It was only natural to expand our love of hospitality to Sylvan Town Cottage.

What makes this property unique

Incredible convenience, quiet setting (unlike the west side of town that has quite a bit of traffic). Secure garage for bike storage. Extremely comfortable furnishings. Close to bike trail, bakery, bagel shops, day spa, restaurants, coffee shop, art gallery, putt-putt, shopping, theater, and hiking. Sidewalks all the way to town. Easy access to Asheville, Brevard, Flat Rock and surrounding areas.
