A unique, cosy ground floor apartment: two spacious arched rooms arranged in a T shape. Living room kitchen with bedroom-bathroom behind. Surrounded by provencal countryside. 15 mins drive to Aix. Quiet, no through traffic. Picasso's castle-resting place at your doorstep. Recommended

Stylish apartment

Highly recommend apartment in a very friendly picturesque village. Owners went out of their way to offer a well equipped flat that is modern but has a lot of character. Shop nearby but it is difficult to find a restaurant that is open in the village. Cecile was super prompt to help and I would not hesitate recommending apartment.

Beautiful location and friendly hosts

We absolutely loved our stay. The location is amazing, the hosts were very helpful, and the village is close to many activities. We loved the apartment. It's beneath the hosts'. It shares an exterior door, with the apartment through a glass door when you first walk in and a staircase to the hosts' home. They were readily available via SMS when needed, but they provided so much help up front that we didn't need to reach out much.Didier greeted us when we arrived and provided an apartment tour. He then gave us a range of activities we could do over the few days we stayed. There are maps, various guidebooks, and suggestions from previous guests. There are a couple local restaurants that are very good and a grocery store.Others complained about the hot water, but we didn't have any issues. There was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, pots/pans, spices for cooking, etc. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. There is only one small window to the outside in the front room, but the lighting is sufficient so it wasn't a problem. The wifi only works in the front room and kitchen area (not the bedroom). There are no TVs, but that was fine as we were there to explore the area.Speaking of exploring, the area offers a lot. We loved going into Aix. But there are also great trails, lavender fields, and incredible village views. You can't tour Picasso's château, but the views from outside are beautiful.We'd definitely stay here again.

Au pied de la montagne Ste Victoire

Gite idéalement situé pour ceux qui aiment randonner. Au cœur d'un village charmant, très calme. Superette faisant aussi dépôt de pain tout près. Très bien aménagé, peu de lumière du jour car ancienne cave mais très vaste. Idéal pour un couple; à savoir sinon : depuis la douche, vue plongeante sur la chambre et réciproquement...Douche très fonctionnelle cela posé.

Wunderschönes Apartment in einem süßen Dorf

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem höhlenartigen Keller und ist deshalb sehr kühl. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Geschirrspüler und andere praktische Dinge sind vorhanden. Die Bettwäsche (französische Decke) war durch die Kälte etwas feucht. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist wunderschön, ein Parkplatz ist 200m entfernt. Von diesem Parkplatz kann man eine Tagestour auf den Montagne Saint Victoire bis zum Provence Cross machen. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Spar Supermarkt. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Beautifully appointed space, a perfect location for exploring the area

Wonderful location for exploring all the Provence has to offer. The setting is absolutely magnificent and it is easy to understand why this area inspires so many creatives of all stripes and abilities. This is located in a quiet and picturesque village to stay in and replenish your batteries or to explore the other points of interest in the surrounding area. The apartment is well appointed with just enough to allow for a comfortable stay. The bathroom doesn’t offer much privacy when showering or getting dressed however the toilet is in a separate room with all of the necessities. You could cook in but why not enjoy the many restaurants that are nearby, some within walking distance. It is in an ideal spot to serve as a jumping off point for exploring other sights in the area.

Un gîte de grande qualité, très spacieux, bien équipé, très calme, situé dans un environnement naturel d'exception (la Sainte-Victoire). Le seul bémol est qu'il ne dispose que d'une minuscule fenêtre donnant sur l'extérieur, donc on est systématiquement en éclairage électrique;

Superbe endroit

Lors de notre arrivé nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce petit village, et le must est la découverte de ce logement. Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits dans une literie tout à fait confortable, dans un calme incroyable. Dans le village deux petits restaurants, un tabac, bar et même une supérette. Le village est situé à quelques minutes de Aix en Provence. Nous avons rencontré les propriétaires qui étaient très sympathiques et à l’écoute de nos questions et interrogations. Je recommande à toutes personnes pour un voyage seul, à 3 ou en famille avec enfants et en couple. Cdt Boutry J

Cecile was exceptionally kind and responsive, going out of her way to help us navigate when our GPS was not helpful. She also called a local restaurant for us: The village Is charming, the view of the mountains beautiful, and the space we stayed in was very nice and perfect for our needs.

Le gîte est très propre et Cécile a été très disponible. Seul bémol, il n'y a pas de fenêtre ...l'avantage est qu'en cas de chaleur nous sommes au frais. La literie est également de très bonne qualité, nous avons très bien dormi.

Urlaub am Fuß des St. Victoire - außergewöhnliche Unterkunft als Ausgangsbasis

Anfang Mai 2016 haben wir eine Woche in diesem außergewöhnlichen Apartment Urlaub gemacht. Die Fotos entsprechen genau der tatsächlichen Einrichtung. Alles war tip top und zur Begrüßung gab es auch einige kulinarische Leckereien. Die Vermieter wohnen im gleichen Haus und sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Die Wandermöglichkeiten um Vauvenargues herum konnten wir gut nutzen. Und die Entfernungen zu Aix-en-Provence ( mit dem Auto ca. 15 Min., mit dem Bus 25 Min. ) und ans Meer ( ca. 45 Min. ) waren für uns genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Appartement plein de charme et confortable

Logement spacieux , confortable et calme, décoré avec goût, situé au rez de chaussée d'une maison de village typiquement provençale. Entrée totalement indépendante. Cécile, la propriétaire des lieux, est absolument charmante et met tout en oeuvre pour le bien être de ses hôtes : propreté impeccable, linge de maison et serviettes de toilette fournis, capsules café, eau fraîche au réfrigérateur, etc... rien ne manque.. Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature, les sentiers de randonnées sont à peine à 200 m de la maison, commerces et restaurants à proximité immédiate. Stationnement très facile à quelques pas de la maison (grand parking gratuit). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
