Do not miss the discovery of the 9 locks of Fontserrane, 8km, an amazing construction of the seventeenth century, a World Heritage Site by Unesco, consisting of 8 successive locks and offering breathtaking views of the beautiful city of Beziers. It is an ideal starting point for beautiful boat trips, with or without a guide, on foot or by bike. The activities around this beautiful location are legion: besides water activities by the sea, Pedalorail St Thibéry, paintball, tree climbing and canyoning 15kms, and for lovers, the beautiful Golf Beziers is 16kms. Home town of Pierre-Paul Riquet, the creator of the Canal du Midi, Béziers is a city very pleasant to live, with a very rich historical heritage. Dominated by the Saint-Nazaire cathedral (listed building), overlooking the river, adorned with magnificent gargoyles and whose tower is 43m high, and highlighted by the beauty of its Old Bridge, also classified, Béziers offers a beautiful shaded walk of plane trees and lined with shops and terraces of cafes, overlooking the Poets Plateau, beautiful wooded park ideal for a moment of freshness sheltered from the midday sun.
