Brand new incredible Columbia Falls home - Flathead river walking trail - A/C for hot summer days

Welcome to Cedar Pointe Subdivision in Columbia Falls! Your perfect base lodge for Glacier National Park, Flathead River, Whitefish Mountain Resort and all that the Flathead Valley has to offer. This home is brand new and was completed in the Fall of 2019. The home is incredibly designed with an open-concept living and kitchen that flows seamlessly. The master suite is on the main floor and has a welcoming fireplace to sit by after a long day on the slopes or after a long hike in the park. The master suite has an attached bathroom, a king bed with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Upstairs, you will find two more bedrooms and a jack and jill bathroom with a shower-tub combo. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom has a comfortable reading chair looking west to the mountains. Cedar Pointe subdivision is located right along the banks of the Flathead River. Bring your fly rods and explore one of the most scenic and iconic rivers in all of Montana. Landscaping will be complete by the Spring of 2020. There is a double-car garage as well. There is air conditioning in the upper two bedrooms and two portable a/c units on the main level. A screen in front of the fireplace has been added for more privacy.

The home is perfectly located just blocks from the restaurants and shops in beautiful Columbia Falls. Just 10 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, and 30 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort.

We have a 60-day cancellation policy. More than 60 days' notice, full refund minus $100 administrative fee. Less than 60 days, no refunds.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home! The home was clean and the location was fantastic for our family vacation. Perfect Location for Visiting Glacier

The house is exactly as advertised and communication and instructions from rental company was great. The neighborhood is quiet and easy walking distance to coffee, shops and food. It's a great location for visiting Glacier, Whitefish and Kalispell.

My family of five found this home to be perfect for all of us. It is a very new and modern home and we appreciated that it was well stocked which alleviated the need to purchase so many items. Glacier National Park Hiking Trip

Great location and excellent VRBO home. Only complaint was that there was no place to hang our bath towels (& needed more wash cloths) nor were there any hangers in the closets. Trash cans in bedrooms would have been useful as well as measuring cups and a mixing bowl in the kitchen. The coffee maker took two hours to brew coffee -- there must be a LOT of calcium in the water. :-) Perhaps leave vinegar behind for guests to clean it out before use. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! I would return to this location in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Property Great Location

This was a beautiful and very comfortable home. The location was perfect for easy access to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and we could walk out the front door and right onto walking trails around the neighborhood and along the Flathead River. We love to cook and the kitchen while lacking in a few minor items was otherwise well stocked. Our family loves board games so we left a board game for others to enjoy. Our only surprise with the property was the see-through fireplace from the living room to the master bedroom. That was an oops in design that could easily be rectified with a movable room screen placed in the master bedroom to give more privacy. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

Home was new and fairly nice. Very clean and good location. Check in was easy and the management company was very responsive. Reason why it’s not 5 stars is because the environment lacked some essential cookware, no games to play, no extra towels, no paintings on the wall or decor…nothing extra. It was like someone had built this place solely to rent without putting much thought into the things that give a house its personality. Also when they built this house they either forgot to add central air conditioning to the downstairs, thought it was not important or did not want to spend the money. Either way if you go in the summer you will need to use the portable fans (the kind that connect to the outside through a window) and they can be pretty loud. One last little thing…the master bathroom downstairs has a shower that leaks water onto the bathroom floor since there is no threshold between the shower and rest of the bathroom. Owners must know about this because the leave you a squeegee to use to clean up the water but for a minimal expense if they just added a threshold this problem would be easily fixed.All and all the house was fine and we can honestly say we loved its location to Glacier, some good restaurants and not far from the grocery store. My comments above are why I can’t give this place 5 stars but it’s a solid 4 stars.

Thanks for your feedback. The owner built the lower level shower to be ADA compliant for her or anyone else’s needs that may benefit from it. There are two ac units on the main floor to keep it nice and cool. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. I have not heard of others having trouble keeping it cool.

Glacier Park/Whitefish Getaway

Property is located in a quiet neighborhood and is ideally situated between Glacier National Park and Whitefish, MT. We chose this location to have easy access to both areas. Vacation home is a rental property is furnished with basic necessities . The home is newer so furnishings were as well. The 2 room air conditioners downstairs were loud when running, but luckily it was pleasant most of our stay and we did not need them. We enjoyed exploring the Flathead Valley and the town of Columbia Falls. My husband is a flyfisherman and caught trout not to far from the property along the Flathead river.
