Tangier house in Old Medina

Abdellah, the house Manager, was so helpful and made all arrangements we requested for transportation from the airport and to the Tangier Port Med, touring Tangier, an Old Medina walking tour and a day visit to ChefChaouen. We had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this location if you want a taste of authentic Morocco!

Very nice!

We styed for a week in the apartment. Typical Marocain (the old town) house, lots of stairs, floors, rooms and a terrace!. Everything is provided as is listed in the description on this site. The kitchen has an oven (great) and all the appliances needed as well as in the bathroom. We had a very nice stay, and we would like to return in August..... :-). Thank you for the service provided and we can surly recommend this property to others. Adnan and Marjoleine

Living in the Medina

We had a great stay at Debbie's House in the Tangier medina. Her manager, Abdellah, and his brother, Hakim, met us on arrival and arranged to have our luggage moved to the house (we had quite a lot for our extended stay) and moved us out again when we left. Abdellah gave us great advice on local sightseeing and offered to help with any questions we had during our stay. Whenever we had a question or issue he was quick to respond and really made us feel comfortable and welcome. We enjoyed our stay in the medina, getting a feeling for daily life there We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace looking over the medina down to the bay,- we spent hours there every morning and evening. The interior stairs would be a problem if you have mobility issues. We were a little concerned at first but soon got used to winding up and down between floors. We would definitely stay again if we return to Tangier.

Our usual check in time is 16.00. The client asked for an earlier check in, and as a gesture of good will, we agreed a time of 13.00. The client arrived an hour early at 12.00 which was not what was agreed. There was a leak in the bathroom which was fixed immediately by the plumber; there was no further leak. The bathroom was brand new last year; it does not need a refurbishment. I gave the client a refund for one day, which I believe was generous. It’s true that the neighbours recently attempted to build a wall on their roof, which would have blocked our lovely sea and city skyline view. We had to take immediate action with the local authority who asked us to take a photo. We did not enter the house without the client’s permission. We would never do that.

This guest asked to cancel her reservation shortly before she arrived. I offered her a 50% refund, as per the Terms and Conditions, but she wasn't happy. Upon her day of arrival, she went straight to a hotel and booked a stay there instead, and sent me the hotel invoice to pay! I don't think this guest ever intended to stay at my house.

exelente, no ne ramadan
