Tuckerton Bay Paradise

We recently updated this already beautiful home with new kitchen cabinets and countertops and a vanity in the guest bathroom. We also replaced the floating dock and ramp. This beautiful property just keeps getting better and it is shore to please located right on the bay. Enjoy all this house has to offer. During the day enjoy the weather and the fenced in backyard without worry about the kids getting into to much trouble. Sit out on one of the hammock chairs, or enjoy some time on the bay and take out one of the two SUPs (stand up paddle-board) or one of the two kayaks.
Brand new kitchen appliances help you to enjoy breakfast on the deck or in the panoramic sunroom looking out over the lagoon. Stay in and fire up the BBQ for some fresh local seafood. Don’t feel like cooking (it is a vacation) within a short 1/2 mile walk you can enjoy some local delicious Seafood with a view of the bay at Sunset Seafood (reservations recommended and it's BYOB) or head to Stewarts (about 2 miles away) and enjoy something more casual and top it off with a root beer float or an ice cream cone. Want more options, jump in the car for dinner in LBI just 30 minutes away.
Whether you are looking to relax or play in the bay this house is sure to please. Includes everything you need paddle boards, kayaks, beach towels, all linens provided as well because who wants to pack sheets and towels for vacation. So much to mention like the enclosed garage and additional downstairs bathroom so you don’t have to hike back up stairs when hanging in the yard or bay, and an outside shower as well. You’ll just have to come check it out to enjoy all it has to offer.

***Please note while the house is able to accommodate up to10 individuals, this is a family rental and accordingly if more than 6 guests are staying at the house the tenants must include a family. If your pet is staying, and Incremental Pet Fee of $100 is not included in the quote and will be added after the booking is confirmed. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask before booking.***

Family Home visit

I grew up in Tuckerton and my husband grew up in Surf City, so it was an amazing week of family and fun. The home, Tuckerton Bay Paradise was wonderful. We were able to enjoy family and friends and host some gatherings with all the amenities, and space.

We celebrated our 36 wedding anniversary with our adult children. The home was very nice. We truly enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. Our ONLY let down would be the grill, very neglected.

Great weekend stay

We rented this property for a long weekend in the fall. My family and I were very pleased with house, the neighborhood, and the responsiveness of the owner. We enjoyed the kayaks, the grill and the wonderful views. My daughter loved relaxing on the hammock chairs. Can't wait to rent this house again!

Tuckerton Bay paradise family stay

We visited Jay's lovely Tuckerton Bay house May 26-28th for Memorial Day weekend. It was such a fun time! We kayaked, paddle boarded, sunbathed and visited both LBI and Atlantic City. The location is perfect, house is clean and comfortable and our family of 4 including 2 teenage boys (ages 13 and 15) had an amazing time! We will definitely be back.

Perfect place for holiday family time

We had an awesome time at this beach house! The open layout with bedrooms along the side was perfect for our family, which included 2 infants on different schedules. The bay views were beautiful and the kitchen had most of what we needed to cook nice family meals. We were incredibly grateful to the owner for his consistent, responsive, and proactive communication. He was up front about everything and remained flexible and generous when we had travel issues.

Beautiful Home by the Bay

This home is open and inviting. We loved the beachy decor. The beds are actually comfortable (rare in our experiences!) and kitchen is well appointed. The outdoor space - deck seating, hammocks, Adirondack chairs and fire pit - is perfect. Wake up early enough to catch the sunrise and you are in for a treat! I would love to come back when the water (a d weather!) is warmer to do some swimming in the lagoon. Communication with the host, Jay, was stellar. He was very welcoming and responsive.

The pictures do not do the home justice. It is a wonderfully open and inviting space. We didn’t have great weather but the space was conducive to socializing indoors, too. Everyone who visited was super impressed. It is clear the house is a home and you are being welcomed into a home. The available dishes are not just spares but thoughtfully chosen. They are gracious and supply linens so no need to travel with them. Beds were very comfortable. Cannot say enough good things. We will definitely be returning guests.

Perfect get away!

We spent a few days before and during Memorial Weekend at Jay's place and had a wonderful time! We live in NYC and we were looking for a place where we can go some place nearby (just 2 hours away) and just relax. Upon arrival, two bottles of wine awaited us, which set the tone for the weekend. The house was clean, well-appointed and well-stocked with things that we needed for cooking, baking and grilling. Although the weather wasn't great (it rained and it was cold one day), we still had a memorable time. It felt peaceful to be by the water, the sunsets were stunning and kayaking was so much. Overall, we had a relaxing time - exactly what we needed for a few day away from the city. Thank you, Jay!

Absolutely beautiful home!

This was our second year staying in this beautiful home. The house is well equipped and super clean. We loved just walking out back to get in our boat and enjoy the bay. The street and neighborhood is quiet which is just how we like it. We only had one rainy day and we took a short drive to enjoy Atlantic City. Wonderful vacation!

Highly recommend! Jays place had everything we needed and more! We loved the kayaks and paddle boards- everyone enjoyed them from our one year old to our dogs! We love our fur babies and this place was absolutely perfect for them as the yard is enclosed. The home was bright, clean, cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed watching movies at night on the comfy couches and having s’mores at the fire pit. We loved relaxing on the dock and floating in the bay. Meals in the dining room with the bay view were so nice. We loved it and would absolutely stay again. Jay is awesome and a great communicator and host!

Lovely home for some R&R

Met up with my sisters and Nana for a much needed time away to reconnect and have some quality time together. Our stay was amazing and Jay was so great to work with. Family Seafood Festival

This is our second year at Jay and Jill's and will be heading there again next year. The house is very pretty, clean and well equipped and close to my sister's house where we have our annual seafood feast. Wonderful place to vacation.

We love the NJ shore, and as our kids got older we were renting during the summer all over cape may and ocean county. When they were very small we rented in OCNJ and LBI, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle, and even tried the Outer Banks in NC a few times. While all those places were great and provided us with fond memories we ultimately, thanks to some wonderful friends, stumbled upon this perfect location. We loved it so much that in 2019 we purchased our second home in Tuckerton Beach to allow us the opportunity to share this wonderful place with all of you. As you can see in the picture, my beautiful wife and I have three beautiful daughters and rounding out our family are the most recent additions of 2 dogs (a Yorkie and a Golden Doodle), 2 parakeets and 11 chickens. We invite you to vacation with your pup as well, the yard is fully enclosed so you can bring your pup without worry and save on boarding as well (been there done that). We love/hate the NY Jets and absolutely love being on/near/by the ocean or bay. Not sure what it is about it but it centers and relaxes us. We hope you enjoy our happy place as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Tuckerton Beach and this house puts you right on the water. Fun during the day kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, or just plain floating up and down the Lagoons. Peaceful at night to sit in an adirondack or hammock chair by a fire listening to your favorite tunes. Close enough to drive into LBI if you want to make an evening of it for dinner and ice cream (Woohoo is our favorite) or you can walk a half mile from the house to the Tuckerton Beach Grille where the food is ok, but the vibe is perfect and it's casual so our kids can be kids. Whatever you like or choose to do during your time off I am confident you will love this house and we are excited to be able to share it with you.
