Lovely property but it was untidy and grubby inside and out

In all it was a poor experience which isn’t what we’ve previously experienced when renting houses. The house was situated in a colleague but in a very busy road,, from 5 am the front bedrooms couldn’t have the windows open due to the noise. The front bedrooms couldnt have the windows open as rats were seen climbing through the plants on the wall. The pool was permanently green. The maintenance man did keep coming but it was never resolved satisfactorily. When we arrived the kitchen in particular was grubby and unclean, the bathrooms weren’t very clean either. Outside in the garden it was in a very unkempt state, the BBQ area was unusable. Neither VRBO nor the house contact responded to my messages. Trying hard to be positive - great location for getting around the area, good bakery next door and lovely walks for our dogs near by. Really, really disappointed after waiting over 2 1/2 years for a holiday in France.

Great location. Beautiful property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maison des Lauriers. Not suited for handicaped or very elderly (bedrooms on second level). Our hosts did everything to make our stay perfect. Thank you!

Een prachtig huis in een mooi dorpje

Een heel mooi huis met aparte kamers en badkamers ( voldoende privacy) , gelegen in een fijn dorpje met bakker en winkeltje in de straat en vlakbij vele bezienswaardigheden.
