This unique country cabin features 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with 2 full beds, full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. All linens are provided.
The bathroom features a jetted tub perfect for relaxing after a day on the river. The air conditioning, heat, running water and electricity makes your trip even more comfortable. The maximum capacity is 6. Only 12 miles from Ft. Leonard Wood Front Gate.

Disappointing

I was hoping to have a relaxing weekend at Ruby's Landing cabin. What the photos don't show are that the cabins are right on top of each other and interspersed with RV's and motor homes. Neighbors in the adjacent RV lots were noisy after quiet hours playing loud outdoor music. The pressure of the whirlpool tub jets was so intense that I got welts on each leg where the jets hit my skin. If you plan to book this cabin and use it for cooking and bathing, you will need to bring or buy most items that VRBO owners normally provide their renters including shower soap, hair products, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer and lotion. Pots and pans are very inadequate. The furnishings and cleanliness could be improved. Overall my experience fell short of the relaxing stay I had hoped for.

It’s a wonderful getaway.

Kelly (property manager) took all my phone calls immediately . I cooked all three days in the cabin. The only thing I would suggest is more suitable pots and pans if you are going to be having your three meals in. I went to Walmart and bought some. Also a baking sheet would be nice. My boys brought there base gloves and played baseball and there was a lot of nice walking area for me. I would 100% go again.

Ruby's Landing River Resort is in it's infancy still. We set on 115 acres, have 1/2 mile river frontage and offer full RV hookups, Cabins, primitive camping, full bath house, laundry facility, Chapel with heart shaped pond, Pavilion and a Community Bldg. We are also the proud owners of the Haunted River Float that happens in September and first part of October. We are a perfect place to stay during graduation ceremonies on base. We have plenty of space for your events, weddings, family reunions and other gatherings.

Why they chose this property

The rural setting is perfect for peace and quiet. We have various bird species and a group of deer that have called Ruby's Landing their home. We have 1/2 mile of river access for the fishermen(women) in the family and nice areas to swim. We have a playground, open air pavilion and a full bath house. We also have a laundry facility on site.

What makes this property unique

We are unlike everyone else. We have camping, lodging, River access and peacefulness. We also offer 5 mile floats down the scenic Gasconade River. Rent a raft, canoe, kayak or double kayak and spend the day relaxing on the river.
