Thank you so much for taking the time to share regarding your stay. Your trust and your business are incredibly important to us. Its our sincerest hope that a revisit will happen, sooner rather than later.
Our family really enjoyed staying at this lovely home. The 3 stories made it spacious enough where we could spread out. The basement was really nice as a family room with a pool table and games. We look forward to returning. Loved walking down to the river at the bottom of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a clean nice home in the NC mountains. It was less than 10 minutes to Boone and conveniently located to Todd in West Jefferson.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share. We welcome all feedback and use each review as a tool to deliver the very best vacation rental experience possible. Our staff is thrilled to hear that the home met or exceeded your expectations and we hope for a revisit sooner rather than later.
The cabin was comfortable. We had a family of 12, everyone had ample space. The kitchen lacked large pans to cook in but overall was nicely stocked. The winding road to and from the cabin was sketchy at times because of poor visibility. We had a great time and made lasting memories!
This is the first time my family and friends had rented out a property just to relax and enjoy ourselves. Beforehand we had rented properties but only with very clear stuff in mind. "We are going to the beach for x y and z, we are going here for blank, etc"
Honestly, the property was super nice and very spacious. 10/10
We had a great time in Boone. We were 6 adults and one toddler. We enjoyed the property and the surrounding areas. Great for hiking!

Nice
We liked the cabin, there were a few things that drove us crazy. The door was very hard to get to work and three people in our party trued to use the fireplace logs and never could get them on . But we would come back
We celebrated my sons 14th birthday with family and friends. What an awesome place to stay! The bridge and river where beautiful. An Awesome view and plenty of room for all.
Thank you for sharing your Happy Place!

This was a nice cabin in a cool area. Short walk to a little bridge looking over the river and only about 20 minutes to Boone. We had an excellent time and would love to come back to good river acres some time.
We truly enjoyed our stay. Other than neighbor working on house across the way at 5:30 am.

Good River Acres
House was clean, in good condition and repair, and well supplied (fully equipped kitchen, games, DVD collection). Everything was as described. Would rent it again.
We loved our stay at this lovely cabin just a 5 minute walk from the New River. Almost every day some part of our group tubed the river to the Castle Ford bridge. The cabin was clean, well furnished and the decks offer lots of seating for relaxing even on rainy days.
The biggest issue we encountered was that the bottom floor was so cold no one wanted to sleep or hang out down there. However, once we closed off the vents in the ceiling down there it solved the issue and was quite comfortable. We loved having the pool table and second living area for our family to spread out.
Be careful with the gas grill. It flamed up something fierce when we tried to use it. It needs a very good cleaning before being used again. (We notified the property manager by email at end of our stay.)
It is a 25 minute drive into Boone and there are lots of great hikes within 30-45 minutes. We especially enjoyed the Green Knob Loop on the Blue Ridge Parkway for an easy, beautiful hike with lots of variety of nature to enjoy.
Overall we were very happy with the accommodations and location of this cabin and hope to come back again!

Lovely Family Vacation
The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with amenities for cooking and comfort. The layout worked really well for our family to have areas to relax together and have our own private space when wanted. Views were gorgeous. We loved the porches and having a grill. The kitchen has everything needed and more for making delicious meals. Cons- the basement area wasn't thoroughly cleaned. We found remnants of chips, sunflower seeds, hair, and water bottles. Also, we quickly needed to restock the paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and trash bags. Normally not a huge deal, but definitely an inconvenience given the twisty drive down the mountain.
