Nestled between the woods and the water, Cherry Lodge is truly secluded and private. True waterfront with hundreds of feet of private wash stone beach, this craftsman era home is surrounded by thick forests on 3 sides of the home, and of course beautiful Green Bay is just steps across your lawn. There are no other cottages in sight (or sound) Sleeps up to 12 in 6 bedrooms and is up to two doggos friendly. We have 4th of July, fall weekend, festival and mid-week availability .

Cherry Lodge sleeps up to 12, but our rates make it an affordable choice for smaller groups or couples. Wouldn't you rather have your own private firepit at the edge of your own private beach with lapping water to watch the sunset and the migrating geese and other wildlife than a communal firepit at a condo? or have neighbors gawking at you?

At Cherry Lodge you will wake up to the sound of lapping waves, birds singing and leaves rustling and then enjoying your first cup of coffee on your waterfront 3 season porch or patio! After a day of festival going, hiking, wine tastings or shopping fire up the grill on your patio for dinner, and then relax around your private waterside firepit (we provide all the firewood you want)

This large cottage has been in the same family since it was built over a century ago and has been thoughtfully renovated and updated to retain its charm and history. Great for a family or group getaway, A private fishing pier is a beautiful 3 minute walk down a wooded path, as is a private tennis/pickleball court.
Waterfront fire pit (with firewood provided) is perfect for toasting marshmallows while enjoying beautiful sunsets over the bay. A wash stone beach, huge, sunny lawn, patio with grill and gorgeous sunsets give you plenty of options to relax outside.
The home is down a private drive and so you WILL NOT have cars whizzing past your bedroom windows. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers available.

Beautiful, craftsman woodwork and original stone fireplace are exceptional details in this room. The large living room with statement staircase open to the 3 season porch.

With 6 bedrooms including 2 waterfront, heated and AC'd 'sleeping porch' bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, dining room and comfortably furnished 3 season porch overlooking the bay you will have plenty of space to spread out. These are real bedrooms, with beds. No sleeper sofas, bunks, inflatables or futons here. One waterfront bedroom even has a romantic brass bed.

Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need if you choose to stay in and cook those fish you've caught or have a relaxed breakfast before heading out for the day, or settling in with a book to truly unwind while you view the wildlife. A large dining room offers plenty of room for dining.

Well mannered dog friendly (up to two of your best friends) with an additional pet fee.

Great location -We are adjacent to historic Horseshoe Bay Farm on Horseshoe Bay Drive and a minute drive, 10 minute walk to a public boat launch and park at Frank Murphy Park and 5-10 minutes from downtown Egg Harbor with restaurants, boutiques, wineries, art galleries, antiquing, stables, golf courses, farm stands, orchards, mini golf nearby.

We have hosted small weddings (with prior approval) and if you need even more space our other cottage, THE ANNEX (VRBO 1814709) is a quick walk down a wooded trail through our woods.
