This large cottage has been in the same family since it was built over a century ago and has been thoughtfully renovated to retain its charm and history. Great for a family or group getaway, Cherry Lodge sits on an expansive, private, waterfront property. Truly waterfront, without another cottage, or condo or anything but woods and water in sight, this spacious, craftsman home has woods on 3 sides and hundreds of feet of private, walk into the water shoreline. A private fishing pier is a beautiful 3 minute walk down a wooded path, as is a private tennis/pickleball court.
Waterfront fire pit (with firewood provided) is perfect for toasting marshmallows while enjoying beautiful sunsets over the bay. A wash stone beach, huge, sunny lawn, patio with grill and gorgeous sunsets give you plenty of options to relax outside.
The home is down a private drive and so you WILL NOT have cars whizzing past your bedroom windows. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers available.

With 6 bedrooms including 2 waterfront, heated and AC'd 'sleeping porch' bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with original stone fireplace, dining room and comfortably furnished 3 season porch overlooking the bay you will have plenty of space to spread out. These are real bedrooms, with beds. No sleeper sofas, inflatables or futons here.
Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need if you choose to stay in and cook those fish you've caught or have a relaxed breakfast.

Well mannered dog friendly (up to two of your best friends) with an additional pet fee.
Because it is just us and our cleaners-and the only commercial laundry locally quoted a minimum of $300 per stay to launder and sanitize linens, sheets and towels are not provided. Happy to explain in detail if you contact me.
