Lake Shore - Lake Front

A large lakefront home located in the Lake Shore Park Subdivision. This home features 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and is located in a quiet cove with your own private dock. Up to 14 guests can be accommodated here. This could be the home for that perfect vacation offering wonderful memories for a lifetime.

With most of our properties, you will come to our office and meet with our office staff to receive your keys and/or code to access the property you are renting. Select homes we can set up no contact check in, where you will receive a code and the property address to check in.
After hours check in will be self-check in that we will set up upon request.


All of our homes are around Bass Lake, most within walking distance of lake access or a short drive to the nearest access point.

You will receive access to the home on the first day of your reservation. Check in will be set up with office staff.

Disclaimer: Due to PG&E water level controls during the winter months boat dock is not usable.
AC, wifi, Microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Sat tv. DVD, gas BBQ, private dock and beach area. Lots and lots of decking, lake view. Also has a pool table and ping pong table for your entertainment.

IT IS RECOMMENDED BY THE COUNTY OF MADERA TO DRINK BOTTLED WATER DURING YOUR STAY IN THE MARINA VIEW & LAKESHORE PARK SUBDIVISIONS

The Bass Lake area does not have public transit.

Guests must be 25 or older to rent any of our properties. ID will be required upon reservation confirmation. The guest that makes the reservation must be the one who checks in and must remain on the property with the other guests.
Service animals are allowed on our properties. Please answer the following questions legally allowed by the ADA regarding your service animal. 1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? 2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We do not charge extra for service animals, nor do we increase the security deposit. The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or animal. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices.
** This property does have outdoor cameras. There are no cameras indoors and no cameras face indoors. These cameras are for safety purposes.

I asked my husband what he wanted to do for his 50th and he said I want to spend a weekend at a lake with the boys and my family. So of course I had to get something out of it as well and I said how about Bass Lake and he said heck yeah. This was our first time there, we didn't get to go a few years back when covid and the wild fires hit. It was the best choice ever. Absolutely gorgeous. We all had such a wonderful time. Only regret was we didn't stay long enough. We can't wait to go back next year. The only downside at the cabin was the beds. Well the mattresses, they were very hard. Everyone was a little disappointed with that. And the dishes there needs to be big mixing bowls, pots, pans, etc. Cooking for 10-15 people you need big dishes. And sharper knives. We wanna give Terri the property manager a shout out. The BBQ pit propane was not working and without hesitation she provided us a full tank. Again thank you for making our first Bass Lake experience unforgettable. The property is amazing.

The home is great for family gatherings with ample space for a large group and fun amenities (pool table, ping pong, games, etc). Booking the reservation was a little difficult. The first person we talked to accidentally booked the wrong house 'LF01' instead of 'LS01' (understandable since they sound so similar). After several conversations, we were able to figure out that was the problem. I never received an email confirmation so I called again and was told there was no reservation on file in my name. So, the customer service person re-booked the home for me (thankfully, it hadn't already been booked by someone else). I also had to call to request the final confirmation email a few days before our arrival date with the check in information since it was never sent. The reservation process could have been a lot smoother and the communication process could have been easier.

Fully stocked with kitchenware, dock wasn’t in lake which we knew beforehand but short walk to homeowners area compensated just fine. Linen serv for extra, was on each bed, have to make it up yourself and only a single bath towel set per person, should’ve been two when staying 5 nights. No beach towels. Plenty of games. Beautiful home, private location and we caught great boating weather. Our family had ‘the best vacation ever’ says my grandson. Main critique is guest book needs a house stay instruction page. The code on the door should be listed so as not to have to take the only key with you-found this on scratch paper, also instructions on how to checkout-bring the key to the Realty office, leave in the house? Use of garage frig ok? Use of garage, if so where’s the opener? Use of homeowner beach area ok? It was stated to take the trash cans to the street on trash day, but that day of the week wasn’t indicated and we were concerned about animals. On checkout morning I reached the office, Brooke was very nice and there was no problem. We winged it and would love to come again but clarity on these issues would help to be the type of guest they’d love to have back.

I felt a $1,500 deposit was extremely steep.

I felt a $1,500 deposit was extremely steep. I don't think it should take "up to 20 days" to refund the $1,500 deposit unless the property management company is combing to find an illegitimate reason to keep a portion of that deposit. We left that property cleaner than it was upon check-in. There was a party that check-out before us the day we checked in and it was not very clean or organized. So I doubt there's any reason to hold our $1,500 deposit for more than 24hrs other than they plan on keeping a portion for some illegitimate reason. All the team members were pleasant to work with and they communicated well

There needs to be more forks.

There needs to be more forks. There were only 10 so we had to keep washing them. The house was clean but if you really look you can tell the housekeepers do the basics. On top of the vent in the kitchen over the stove was really dirty/dusty and you do notice not all furniture is not dusted down but not a huge issue. There was some items that I found that needed to be fixed or were damaged and I made sure I told Shelia the next day when I dropped off the key. Overall we loved our stay there and we will definitely be back. Shellia (spelling) Was very helpful in helping me find a hose on short notice. When we first got there we weren’t able to enter the home with the code. Went to the office to get the key to unlock but that did not work. By accident I figured out the code. I needed to hit the kwinski button then the code. Maintenance guy showed up and he explained the lock for us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
