This was a great place to stay and good location if visiting multiple places. We visited Boston, Salem and Gloucester. We drove to Salem and parked at the T parking garage. It was convient to take the train into Boston. When visiting Gloucester we bought fresh Lobster and Crab and was able to cook it our selves in the well equipped kitchen in the apartment. If we visit Massachusetts again, we will definitely be staying here!

This was our first time visiting Massachusetts. Melrose was the prefect spot to stay for our girls trip to visit Salem each day. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. Sarah was very quick to respond if I had any question. Would love to visit again!

We had a very enjoyable stay in August, 2026. We will definitely consider staying again. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed having coffee on the porch and watching the bunny in the yard.

The house was perfect for our family getaway! The town was a quick walk with some cute restaurants. There was a park just a two minute walk up the street. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals there. The house was clean and comfortable! It’s conveniently located close to Salem so we were able to travel back and forth easily. My daughter enjoyed the playroom so much! It was really nice to have the comforts of home! Thank you!

We loved our stay here and would absolutely stay again. Loved the location…could walk downtown and was on a dead end street which was nice. My only cons were the tiny bathroom, short toilet, and the fact that the floors were so squeaky. We worried we were bothering those downstairs. That said, it was the perfect home base. Nice old home with a lot of character. And we spent a lot of time on that great balcony porch. Check in and communication was great!

Very cozy stay. The host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We stayed with friends, but would be great for kids - play area in home and a park nearby!We thought it was the perfect distance between Boston and Salem.

We booked here for a small girls trip to visit Boston and Salem and this house was in a fantastic central location. The neighborhood was beautiful and Sarah’s home was very comfortable for the 3 of us. Sarah was a fantastic host and she was very responsive. I would highly recommend this location and would definitely stay again!

Great Home away from Home
