We needed a place to stay while visiting Humboldt and this was perfect. Comfy beds and lots of space. Very cool kitchen. Only wish we had time to enjoy a drink on the deck.
This is a lovely two bedroom upstairs apartment. It was clean and well furnished. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The old fashion claw foot tub/shower combo was a little bit of a challenge to use but shower head and water pressure were very good. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee/tea provided was much appreciated. The location was great for us, one block from nephew and 5-6 blocks from my sister. The stairs are somewhat steep but we had no problem even though we're all over 60. There is also a downstairs apartment in this house. Property manager Isaac handled a booking issue quickly and efficiently.
Eureka is a nice place to visit with lots of shops and good restaurants. We recommend the Banana Hut for Hawaiian food that was delicious. Try the coconut shrimp with the pineapple gravy on the rice!
We love the charm of the old houses and spent several hours just driving around the different neighborhoods.
We recommend this VRBO rental and would stay there again in the future.
