Light and bright family-friendly cottage

This beautiful 1bd, 1ba house is spacious and bright. It's in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, farmer's market and gourmet grocery stores. Close to Reed College and several parks. Street parking is available and it's only 2 blocks from 2 bus lines, which makes getting around town a breeze. We are very family friendly and have anything you might need for traveling with babies or children. We're happy to give any details or recommendations in order to ensure you enjoy your stay!

We loved the place. It actually felt more spacious than we expected and was exceptionally clean. Even though we barely needed the kitchen cuz eating out a lot with family, it was a complete fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely lovely little mother-in-law cottage! It's a quiet neighborhood very close to a suburban main drag, and it's fairly easy to drive to downtown Portland.FYI, the washer and dryer are petite. The bed in the living room is a bit hard when extended to king-size, but mattresses always have to make compromises in sofabeds.

This is our favourite home away from home in Portland - cozy, clean, well-equipped, comfortable, safe, and convenient to groceries, cool shops, and parks. Mark and Chrysalis are very kind and responsive to our needs.

Chrysalis' Cottage is our "go to" home in Portland. It is beautifully maintained and has everything we need. Each time we come, I notice improvements. It's comfy, cozy, and self-contained. Chrysalis and Mark are available when we need help. It's close to our kids who live in Woodstock and the neighbourhood is super cool and fun.

This was a really great place to stay! Great part of town next to great restaurants too.The hosts are the nicest you will find anywhere. We didn’t have enough room in the car for our high chair, so they were kind enough to track one down for us so we didn’t have to! Highly recommended it!

I totally enjoyed my stay at this property. The rental was very clean and the kitchen had every appliance one could possibly need. I stayed 10 days so the washer and dryer were a plus.The property is located in a very walkable neighborhood with plenty of stores and restaurants just blocks away. Chrysalis was very accessible and responded to texts very promptly and was very helpful during our stay.We loved her little Casita and have marked it for our next day in Portland.
