Casa Amare is a charming independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps four people. From Casa Amare you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea. Casa Amare is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the center of Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for the local bus at 500 meters (1640 feet). You will reach Casa Amare from the beach going up a public walkway that includes approximately 150 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Amare. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 800 meters (880 yards), for a fee, in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).

Casa Amare is very close to the beach and it's part of that colored bunch of houses inset in the cliff that steeply drops down to the sea, which you can see in all of the pictures of Positano.


On its beautiful terrace, closed by a balustrade and shaded by a pergola held by columns, you will feel in pole position in the seascape of Positano, in the right place to pick up its extraordinary beauty and to enjoy its happy life. Imagine yourself having breakfast on this terrace, or relaxing under the sun: in front of you there will be the promontory called "L'Incanto" ("The Charm") for its truly spell-binding beauty, below the beach and the adjoining narrow alleys, filled with shops and restaurants, and then, so close, the sea. When you are back home, you will be able to show your pictures and postcards and say that you have stayed right there, in the heart of that bunch of houses that is considered one of the most beautiful spots in the world.


Casa Amare is beautiful inside, too. It is one of the authentic houses of Positano, that the owner have elegantly decorated in white and blue, to match the colors of the sea and of the sky, which you will be able to see from the large glass wall in the living room.


You will reach Casa Amare from the beach of Positano through a stairway cut into the cliff. The walk is indeed pleasant, since as you go up you will have a wider and wider view on the center of Positano, with its cathedral, its alleys, the beach and the sea. From the beach, you climb 120 steps, and then descend 30 steps, along a characteristic alley, and you will be in front of the main entrance of Casa Amare.
Terrace
The terrace is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola. It is equipped with a table, chairs and two sun loungers. Here you will find also a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board at your disposal. From the terrace you will enjoy a view of the sea and of Positano.

Tourist tax, paid locally: From April 1 to October 31: EUR 2.50 per person per night. Guests aged under 10 are exempt. Refundable security deposit paid cash upon arrival: EUR 300 (it is returned to you at check-out).
Living Room
The living room is paved with majolica tiles. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is well equipped, with a four-burner electric cooker, a small electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The room has a large panoramic window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, decorated with majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The furnishings include an armchair. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.
